La casa de Auggie en Mississippi

Esta casa construida en 2017 tiene vista al hermoso río Mississippi. Se encuentra a 15 minutos de La Crosse WI. Está a una milla de distancia del lanzamiento de un bote y aproximadamente a 3 millas del lanzamiento de un bote público del Wild Cat Campground. Esta área alberga venados de cola blanca, pavos salvajes, lubina, lucio norteño, lucioperca y varios peces pan. Nuestra casa está justo en el Mississippi River Trail para ciclistas. (Solo está disponible en veranos). Hay espacio para estacionar su bote y conexión eléctrica al aire libre para cargarlo. Espacio para 6 en camas y más si desea traer un colchón de aire / dormir en sofás. Si está disponible, alquile el apartamento también y hay dos camas queen más disponibles en la misma vivienda.

Nuestra casa está a lo largo del área de la piscina 8 de Mississippi. Hay muchos torneos de pesca locales y de grandes ligas (Bass Master Elite, Bass Master Open y Major League Fishing) en este grupo. Si te gusta la pesca de lucioperca, lucio del norte o pan, también es posible aquí.

Family weekend

This property was just as described but the views of the river are spectacular! The house is clean and comfortable. Lots of seating in the living room and beds are super comfortable.

Lovely stay at top property

Went to La Crosse for a bike race. This home has everything we needed including laundry for race clothes! Beautiful view of the Mississippi River! Property owner responded promptly to any questions. Would stay there again.

Amazing experience!

The owner Paula was awesome! The house is comfortable, well taken care of, clean and has all the things you need. We stayed there for a bachelorette party and spent a lot of our time relaxing at the house playing games at the table and enjoying the beautiful view of the Mississippi River. Only a 20 minute drive from downtown LaCrosse. It was too hot for a campfire during our visit but we would have utilized the covered fire pit if we could have! Very reasonably priced and great place. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Our favorite things about this property are the VIEW through the huge windows, and all the comfy reclining seating! The shower was great; we had all the necessities required to make a few meals; it was so peaceful. We had no trouble with the entry code; and we REALLY appreciated the motion sensor lights on the garage, as we came back after dark one night. Thank you Augedahls!

Great home on the Mississippi

This was a very nice home fronting the Mississippi. It had plenty of room for our family of 5 and we were only a few minutes from a local boat launch and a short drive to LaCrosse. The cookies were also a very nice touch.

Beautiful home in a great location

We came for an event in LaCrosse - it was a quick and easy 20 minute drive - perfect! The home has everything you can think of - and very comfortable beds! The directions for getting in are really easy and Paula was super responsive and great to work with. I’d recommend staying here again - it’d be perfect for a girls trip The views of the river are stunning!!

Glorious Views of the Mississippi

If we could give this rental 10 gold stars we would! Home is clean and spacious, parking was perfect for our boat as well. Homeowners were by far the best part of the whole week long experience. Certainly going to visit with them again!! We will definitely stay here again.

We loved this space for our weekend! The house is super clean, very spacious, and had absolutely everything we needed. The host was so friendly and super responsive when I thanked her upon arrival. The pictures don’t do it justice, the view was lovely. I highly recommend!

Tony's graduation at UWLAX

Impressive, not just in stature or luxury but the overall experience with these hosts made our stay perfect. I just wish we'd discovered this place years ago. Our youngest Son graduated from UWLAX Saturday and moved back home so now we have no real need to visit the area but will keep it in our "keeper" file. Thanks again!

Great time at Auggie’s home on the Mississippi River. Great location, clean, and great home to stay with family. Only thing I’d mention is there are family pictures all over of which I understand it’s a family home, but yet a little awkward. Easy use lock and entrance and plenty of room to park with vehicles/boats.

We built our house in 2017, but during the summer time, we live at our boathouse a mile away. We have hosted a rental apartment above the garage out of our home for a year now and it has been a wonderful experience. As there is so few options for out-of-towners, we decided to also open our main home to renters during the summer.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We actually built this house. Our 3 children were grown and gone, so we no longer felt the need to stay in our hometown. As we lived in Brownsville during summer at our BH and loved it, we bought the lot we built on in 2015. We took that fall and the next summer to clear the area around it to protect the future house from falling trees and opened up the view. Our plans included a bonus room above the garage, but we were going to leave it empty for the next homeowners. My husband got the idea that we should run a vacation rental unit out of it, so we decided to finish it ourselves and have been in business since the summer of 2018.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This house has private quarters and during summer, access to the full house, minus the master suite. It overlooks the beautiful Mississippi River and is close to LaCrosse WI, only 15 minutes away. Both the house and the apartment have a feeling of home. They have what you need to live comfortably and connected with close access to a bigger city's options, should you want more than the quiet, small river town has to offer.
