Iason Studios in the Picturesque Old Town, Chania, Crete

Iason Studios is a small family business and includes five studios in a two-store building with private bathroom, kitchen facilities, and balcony.

The building is situated on the west side of the old town, in the quiet area of "Topanas", with no traffic, just a few meters from the old Venetian harbour where you can find most of the historical sites of the city of Hania (Chania) as well as many places for entertainment.

A major pole of attraction is the old city, with the old Venetian harbour. On the west side, the castle of Firkas, where the Naval Museum lies(:this is the area of IASON STUDIOS.) On the opposite side of the harbour, the Venetian arsenals (shipyards) of the 16th century. There are also other Museums, Exhibitions, Nightlife and Shops. The town never stops to amaze you!

As an alternative you may take day excursions to the unique Samaria Gorge (the biggest in Europe), Kournas Lake, exotic beaches of Elafonisi, Falassarna, Gramvoussa, Balos (where you can take a mini cruise, too).
Sail South Crete by Ferry (Hora Sfakion, Agia Roumeli, Sougia). Explore unspoiled villages around Chania, eat their local produce. Of course a visit to Knossos and the Archaeological Heraklion Museum is a must.
All these and even more make Chania unforgettable.


On the other hand if you prefer to have a break in Hania in wintertime, you have one more reason to come to our studios, as we offer special offer for longer stay as well as central heating.
As a matter of fact, November to March rates are negotiable-according to number of persons and length of stay- because it's quite often to have longer renters during winter time. So we have a different arrangement in that case, with a major discount per month.
This is a usual policy for us, since there are many people - both from abroad and Greeks - that choose to stay in Hania for the wintertime.

The units are in the same building, so they're ideal for a group of friends or families. Nevertheless, they may be let out separately, as each unit has all the necessary equipment -even hair dryers- to make your stay most comfortable.

It is important to mention that you will be provided with any kind of information you may need, as the owners know so many details about the prefecture of Hania and West Crete in general. So, you can easily find your way to sunny beaches, clear waters, very busy or isolated places, and even high mountains with a breathtaking view.

Since the studios have been restored by the owners themselves, they have warmth, relaxed atmosphere, nothing like impersonal hotel rooms. So, you'll find have everything to make you feel at home: a friendly - family atmosphere!
