It was the perfect getaway for quality time with my husband. Very quiet and beautiful setting! The cottage was very charming and very clean! It had everything we needed for the weekend. The host was very responsive and accommodating of my date changes.

The hosts thought of just about everyrhing! The cabin and grounds are very well kept. Just like the pics. The bed was comfy, plenty of firewood. Got a kick out of the busy chipmunks. Thank you to the owners, we had a nice time.

Yore Cottage is now our favorite cottage. The stay was peaceful and beautiful. The cottage is well taken care of and immaculate. The screened porch was great. While there is a tv in the living area, we never turned it on. This cottage is like staying in a woodland park.
Cabin entryway. Motion sensor lights for the porch and driveway were perfect for our late night arrival.
The owners provided firewood and kindling for an easy to light fire.
Moon rising with beautiful light shining through the trees.

We loved this property! My husband and I brought our two young boys and it was perfect for us. The property was so peaceful that we spent most of the weekend on property, fishing in the pond, exploring, and enjoying the sun room and basement. It was clean on arrival and has such a cozy feel. Check in was easy and Tim had great communication to provide instruction and even notice that we could check in a little early. We loved it here!

We had a wonderful time staying at Yore Cottage! The location is very convenient to Salt Fork State Park, but the property is so beautiful, peaceful, and private that it is a perfect getaway and you may not want to leave at all. Very comfortable, and all the basic necessities are provided. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect get away

This little cottage in the woods is a gem. Simple, but had most everything we needed. GREAT a/c ( it was one of those very hot weeks),and a pond with fish! The screen porch was nice at night when it cooled off and the fan helped tremendously! Bed was super comfy, and we had a relaxing time.
Caught and then returned! It was fun!

Anniversary get away and hunting for BigFoot

Very nice smaller cabin set in a nice private area. Within minutes to SaltFork lodge and hiking trails. Loved the screened room to just sit and relax. Owner left us a gift celebrating our anniversary. Would definitely recommend for a couple looking for some relaxing our outdoor activities. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Secluded yet accessible

Our stay was relaxing and carefree. While we spent the majority of our stay outside exploring and sitting around the campfire, the inside of the cottage was clean, comfortable perfectly set up. Absolutely no complaints and we plan to stay there again!

Great Place

Cabin was as described in listing. We really enjoyed this quiet setting. Could hear the sounds of nature. Nice and dark at night so could see the stars. Very nice fire pit and even included free firewood. Loved the screened deck. Owners quick to answer questions.

The property was very beautiful and quiet

When we arrived we were impressed how quiet and secluded the property was. The cottage was very quaint and clean. We fished in the stocked pond and sat out on the dock and enjoyed the stars. I walked the trails and enjoyed listening to the birds and chipmunks play in the leaves. I would recommend this cottage to anyone who would like to enjoy peaceful wooded setting. Inside the cottage everything was very clean and tidy. The queen bed was very comfortable. The full size refrigerator was very clean and useful since we brought groceries and enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We

Slice of paradise

We had the best weekend staying yore cottage. We cooked, we fished, we had fires in the fire pit. Wood was provided. Everything was clean. The place was stocked with essentials. This was the perfect weekend getaway. Me and the misses will definitely be going back. We rent a lot on Vrbo just to get away for the weekend. We keep trying new places. After renting this place, this is our only get away.

Get away for me and my husband

This is a sweet little cabin! Its exactly as the picture's show!! Very Very comfortable bed and blankets. It has everything you would need to get away from city life!! The pond was amazing!! We caught so many fish!! The pond had turtles and frogs!! The land is very well taken care of!! Not far to Cambridge and Salt Fork State Park!!

Old men getaway to catch up

What a wonderful, peaceful location. The cottage was exceptionally clean and had all necessary amenities. We enjoyed our stay albeit cut short by an unforeseen circumstance. I am recommending for my daughter and son in law for a quick weekend away from the city.

A peaceful weekend

My best friend and I stayed here for our annual weekend away from the chaos of everyday life and it was absolutely perfect. The land is private, the hiking trail was fun to explore, and we even got to see a big group of beautiful cows in the field next door. The screened in porch was a fabulous amenity. Having access to free fire wood for the fire pit was very helpful as well. The pond and dock were our very favorite spot of all, so serene. Would highly recommend a stay here if you’re looking to get away and soak in the peacefulness of abundant nature.

Our family has vacationed at the Salt Fork state park for 30+ years.
Although we enjoy the amenities of the park lodging options, we always longed for a place of our own with more solitude than the park accommodation and other nearby cluster cabins could provide.
We are very proud of our renovated country cottage and know you will find as much enjoyment in the accommodations as we do.

Many competing rentals have several to a dozen properties and not much privacy, we have one very private cottage on a 15-acre wooded property with stocked fishing pond.
We do not charge a cleaning fee or tax.
