El Ala Oeste de La Serenella es un pequeño oasis paradisíaco a solo 15 minutos en coche de Verona, a 20 minutos del Aeropuerto Internacional de Verona y a 25 minutos en coche del lago de Garda, muy cerca de 3 importantes campos de golf, Sommacampagna, Marciaga y Peschiera. Está rodeada por un antiguo parque de 1,5 hectáreas (3,7 acres). El Ala Oeste de La Serenella es muy agradable en cualquier época del año. Con una atmósfera diferente, ofrece un refugio tranquilo mientras visita Verona para ver la ópera en la Arena de Verona o visitar las exhibiciones de Verona. ***A unos cuantos pasos de la villa, encontrará una pequeña tienda de comestibles y una gran supermercado llamado Famila, así como una buena pizza llamada "Dai Butei", que significa "Para los chicos" en el dialecto local, ubicad en la principal plaza rural de San Pietro, en el pueblo de Cariano, a solo 5 min a pie***
Acceso a la villa: El acceso a la villa es a través de una hermosa entrada con cipreses. Llegará a la villa caminando a lo largo de un camino rodeado de cipreses y con un jardín italiano tradicional, con numerosas estatuas clásicas. La fachada principal del lado meridiano de la villa ha sido tallad por cuatro columnas y con un blasón de la familia hecho de mármol. En la propiedad, encontrará gran cantidad de esculturas, con figuras en diferentes ángulos y tallada en los lados, dos mármoles de gusto flamenco, mostrando frutos y juego. Dentro de la propiedad: alrededor de la villa, podrá disfrutar de una impresionante campiña, donde podrá saborear las siguientes frutas: uvas, cerezas, ciruelas, manzanas y peras. En la planta baja, encontrará un recibidor, una cocina con chimenea de mármol y una sala de billar. En la primera planta, hay un gran salón, dos habitaciones dobles, una habitación individual y dos cuartos de baño. Los techos de las habitaciones están pintados con dibujos antiguos. En la segunda planta, encontrará dos habitaciones dobles y un cuarto de baño.

Wonderful week at La Serenella

The Villa is beautiful and was a comfortable place to stay in Valpolicella wine country. The location was perfect for us. The host was easily accessible, friendly and helpful. A wonderful experience all around.

Stunning Property

The Owner could not have been more helpful and it is a lovely house/ It had a lot of rooms, bathrooms, good sitting rooms. spacious kitchen and good outdoor eating area. It was perfect with 8 adults and 3 small children. Lovely walks in the vineyards to the left and the village with pizza places to the right. Lake Garda very near as was the Airport and so it worked very well for us

Review of La Serenella

We found the villa to be a delighful base to explore the Veneto region. It was close to Verona and all the attractions of Lake Garda and within travelling distance of Venice. The villa enjoys a very peaceful setting and the clean, new pool was great for relaxing and cooling off. The villa was clean and the beds were the comfiest I have ever slept in! Our hosts were delightful and extremely helpful in recommending local restaurants and arranging a tour of a local vineyard. I would not hesitate to recommned this property to a friend and would love to return there myself.

Beautiful old venerable villa.

We were 9 adults and had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful, time-honoured villa which we all enjoyed very much. We cooked together in the spacious kitchen where everything you need is there, and we had barbecues outside. the pool was cleaned several times, was well tempered and is beautifully situated in the huge garden. Everything was perfect and all our wishes and expectations were more than fulfilled. It was an unforgettable experience and a super holiday.

A walk back in time

This property is beautiful. The host is amazing and helps with anything you need such as dinner recommendations and suggestions as well as reservations. You definitely need a car for this property and just a note that it is shared with the other part of the villa. Unfortunately we had noisy neighbours who were not respectful of others and stayed up partying until the early hours of the night ( not the hosts fault) but we did want to let you know in case you thought you were getting the whole villa as we had.

Wonderful Stay at a Beautiful Italian Villa

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful holiday house in San Pietro in Cariano . The property exceeded all our expectations! It was clean, spacious, and filled with charming Italian touches that made it feel so authentic. The views from the house were breathtaking, and we especially loved spending time on the terrace, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The amenities were excellent—everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bedrooms were cozy, and the outdoor area with the pool was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The location was ideal, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants, yet it still felt wonderfully secluded. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, always ready to assist us with any questions we had. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Italy. We will definitely be back!

Wunderschöne, romantische Villa mit großem Grundstück. Das offene Nebengebäude gegenüber der Villa fordert zum Tanz auf. Wir haben im kleinen Kreis unsere goldene Hochzeit in der Villa gefeiert und ein Dinner für den Abend gebucht. Alles war perfekt organisiert. Zur Hälfte unseres Aufenthaltes gab es einen Zimmerservice. Das gesamte großzügige Anwesen war in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Die Kommunikation mit dem Manager verlief reibungslos.

We were disappointed. We’ve stayed in an Italian villa before, so we are not novices to this concept and have realistic expectations. They first impressions are lasting impressions! The pictures you have posted on your website are not a true representation of this property both inside and out. The exterior picture shows a bright, white, clean façade and a green lawn with shrubbery. The reality is that the façade, stairway, and front entrance was in serious need of a power washing. Your website shows brightly lit rooms with clean and colorful upholstery. This was not the case. And even with all the lights turned on none of the rooms looked as bright and cheerful as your photographs. The two large bedrooms on the main floor had high ceilings with massive cobwebs hanging from them (indicating they hadn’t been cleaned in a while). The upstairs bedrooms had poor ventilation and were extremely hot and uncomfortable. Two storms came in during our stay and left the pool filthy and unusable. We took it upon ourselves to clean the pool when the pool cleaning crew called in sick. One of the storms left the back entrance floor to the main room completely soaked. We used towels to dry the floor and never received the clean towels we requested to replace them. This wasn’t a great experience for us. I would hope you take these comments as constructive criticism and make the necessary changes.

Unser Firmenausflug war für alle ein super Erlebnis. Neben der MarmoMac in Verona und den Carrara-Steinbrüchen, war diese Unterkunft einfach nur traumhaft. Super gepflegte Anlage, nettes Personal, sehr gute Kommunikation und eine wunderschöne Villa. WAS WILL MAN MEHR.

Das Haus hat 2 Parteien Vorder/Hinterteil wurde als Einfamilienhaus angeboten🤔Sehr hellhörig man konnte jedes Wort der anderen Mieter verstehen. Die Bilder waren auch von dem anderen Teil was sehr schade war. Insgesamt schlechter Zustand draußen wie drinnen. Nachts wurde auf dem Grundstück Feuer gemacht der Qualm löste bei meinem Enkel heftigen Husten aus.

In the heart of Valpolicella

We love La Serenella - have stayed at the gate house a number of times and this was our first stay at the West Wing. If you have a larger group this property works well. We love the area to visit restaurants, wineries, Verona and Lake Garda. Good hiking and walking close by too.

Outstanding location for great time with family and friends

We booked the villa for a family ceremony and it was one of our best experiences we ever had. The villa is indeed old-fashioned (16th century) and decorated with love and style. The owner was super helpful with any request we had before and during our stay. We really can recommend the catering & especially the great dinner with chef Susi, a recommendation of the location’s owner. Thousand thanks to Eleonora, Constantino, Susi, Mattheo, Umberto and all lovely people who made our celebration so wonderful! Hint: be careful when opening the inner yard steel door next to the street, it can be unstable due to the age.

A Magical Family Vacation

We rented La Serenella West Wing from the end of June to the third week in July for a 3 week sojourn with our 5 grown children, 2 of their spouses and 4 young grandchildren. I started each day with a run through the 3 adjacent wineries and ended each night walking the same route with my family. We rented a bus and driver for day trips and overnights. Padova, Vicenza, Mantova, Verona and Lago di Garda’s many beautiful lakeside villages are all within an easy driving distance. Our farthest trips were Lago di Como (Garda is more beautiful) and Venice (both were overnights). The 3 week stay was magical. La Serenella is incredibly well located, the conveniences with in walking distance are plentiful. One can also walk to at least 3 incredible wineries, Brunelli, Montecariano and Buglioni. The villa, as noted, is split in to two wings that are rented and owned separately. We rarely had issues with noise(1 or 2 of 21 nights). The owner and manager are lovely. To stay in a villa designed and built by Palladio is an incredible privilege. We couldn’t have had a better experience. These villas are not luxury properties, they are experiential properties. La Serenella is a great value and a wonderful way to spend a summer. While we don’t own it, we consider it partially ours as the time there will always remain in our hearts.

Et dejligt sted Men falsk reklame med at der var tennisbane ved huset. Det blevså ændret I deres annoce ved Vbro den 22 juli. Så der nu står at der er 20 min kørsel til tennisbanen. Vi havde netop dette sted fordi vores undermennesker gerne ville spille tennis. Det er bare ikke iorden, vi gjorde opmærksom på dette, men det ville de ikke forholde sig til. Men tilbød dog en gratis time ,

Great time with the family!

We really had a great week with the family. Everything has been as promised. The owner, Eleonora, Mr. Cardini - in fact everyone involved has been very supportive also with non-standard requests from our side ;-) Thanks again! The Villa, its garden and pool are beautiful. The town of San Pietro in Cariano and the landscape around is definitely worth seeing it and Verona is just a short drive away. We'll surely consider the Villa Serenella West Wing for a future stay!

Faszinierendes GEbäude, teils sehr bröselig u runtergekommen. Sauberkeit naja. Stil grossartig. GEsamtambiente grossartig. Der aufstell-Pool ist recht dreckig und in ungepflegter umgebung. Der Garten umso schöner. Geschirr für 14 personen, Besteck für 25 personen, WEingläser für 5 personen. Die Umgebung (wohngebiet) eigenet sich perfekt für Ausflüge und Wein-Verkostungen

idealer Familienurlaub in Valpolicella

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem sehr gut ausgestatteten, altehrwürdigen Haus ausgesprochen genossen! Signora Eleonora hat sich persönlich sehr um uns bemüht. Ihre Restaurant-Tipps ( inkl. Dal Nane) haben wir gern ausprobiert und alle waren begeistert. Die empfohlene Weinverkostung im Weingut Montecariano ( fußläufig erreichbar) war äußerst interessant. Das Haus mit seiner ruhigen Lage ist idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Danach freut man sich auf den sehr schönen Pool im schattigen Garten. Man sollte nur wissen, dass der andere Hausteil ebenfalls vermietet wird und einige Schlafräume zum Außenbereich des jeweils anderen Hausteils ausgerichtet sind. Wir hatten glücklicherweise ruhige Nachbarn. Für größere Familien können wir dieses Haus absolut weiterempfehlen!

Our magical visit

We were a party of 5 adults and 8 children and we had an amazing stay here. A little bit “shabby chic” in parts and we would have welcomed air con as the fans were not sufficient for the temperatures at night. But all in all it was beautiful.
