Retiro espiritual, o un lugar aislado para el trabajo tranquilo. Amazing! My daughter and I decided to take a last minute midweek trip to New Braunfels. We loved everything about our stay. The house had everything that we needed. Our hosts, Kathleen and Greg, were so nice. We loved Andy, the resident cat, and all of his friends. Not going to lie…Andy may have been a factor in us choosing this place. There were deer all around the area. Super close to Gruene and all of the cute shops and yummy restaurants. Great as location! Looking forward to our next stay.

This was perfect for our weekend getaway. The host and location could not have been better. Close to Greene Hall, Schlitterbahn, and the river. We make this trip ever summer and this has been our favorite place to stay. The boys asked if we could stay here again next year and I hope it’s available when we return.

Girls’ river weekend

My two girlfriends and I decided to have a little getaway to float the river and this property was perfect for us! It had everything we needed; the beds were so comfortable; it was cozy and cute and we loved it!

Sweet Spot in New Braunfels

My friend and I stayed here and thought it was absolutely perfect! We went ahead and booked for next year. Very clean and super cute space!! Also, had everything we needed.

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I stayed Saturday- Monday. We really loved our stay. We stayed in the top floor and we felt like we had full privacy. I would love to rent out the whole unit for our family in the future. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. I would 100% stay here again. The location is really close to downtown Gruene. Very easy to go back and forth. Very much enjoyed our stay!

Ideal spot for a Gruene getaway!

This accommodation is located in a neighborhood very near Gruene, TX. Although not a riverfront property, it is very close to both Gruene and New Braunfels for easy access to tubing, restaurants, shopping and excellent dining. It is so well designed and decorated it provides an upscale but comfortable stay. Kathleen and Greg are excellent hosts and have thought of everything. The house is in their backyard (a beautiful setting!) has ample well marked parking and both the upstairs and downstairs are connected by an interior door should you need the space of both rentals. There is nice, shady outdoor space to enjoy with a firepit, beautiful plants and a small dining area. There are bbq pits should you want to grill and a kitchenette with hotplate and small refrigerator. We enjoyed coffee on the porch in the morning watching the hummers zoom by! We will be back for sure.

Quiet little property close to Gruene Historic District

We really enjoyed our stay - just a few mins from downtown Gruene & New Braunfels. Kathleen was very responsive & accommodating to our needs. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Because we are not located right on the Guadalupe, we are often sought after for the peace and quiet we can afford at River Haven. River access is only a half mile from us, and the village of Gruene is one mile away, however, and we have the unique quality of being desirable for every season, Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter, where guests can enjoy shows by artisans, seasonal activities, superior music at Gruene Hall, Whitewater Amphitheater, River Road Ice House, as well as numerous nearby smaller venues in Gruene and New Braunfels. San Marcos Outlet Shopping is a 20 minute drive away and downtown New Braunfels is 11 minutes away, and you will find abundant night life, antiquing and shopping there, also.
