Unforgettable Mountain Getaway!This home truly exceeded all of our expectations! Every corner was filled with beautiful detail, character, and so many “wow” factors. The cathedral ceilings, incredible natural light, and breathtaking views of nature made the space feel so special. The unique shower experience overlooking nature was unforgettable, and the chef’s kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. We stayed over Thanksgiving and were able to comfortably cook our entire Thanksgiving dinner with ease. My family had an amazing time creating memories in this peaceful mountain retreat. The location was also perfect—just 4 minutes from the village and the lake. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great Location! Lovely home!

The house was fantastic. Exactly as described. Great open kitchen and living room with beautiful fireplace. Vaulted Ceilings and huge windows with large deck made it feel like you were nestled in the trees, almost a treehouse vibe with the stairs going up to the second floor, very cool. The bathrooms are a huge plus, obviously remodeled, beautiful, that shower, omg! Loved the location! Very quiet, upscale area, super close to the Village. Parking was easy, long driveway but plenty of room. Very clean. Only things to note (just being picky): very little condiments and kitchen staples but Stater Brothers is one minute away. Small beds, would have loved if there was a King size in master :). My husband and I will definitly book again.

The property was fantastic and my family and I loved our stay there. The owner was very nice, accommodating, and made our trip that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this property, it’s what you imagine when you think Lake Arrowhead.

Forrest Sanctuary

Absolutely amazing time at this cabin. Exactly what we needed to get away for a quick winter getaway. The cabin is secluded and serene yet still close to everything you’d want like grocery stores and restaurants. The cabin itself is spacious and beautiful with all the amenities you could want. Also the kitchen was fantastic, had all the necessary pots, pans, toaster, K-cup coffee maker etc. Will absolutely be booking again.

Amazing location

Had a great time in the house. We loved how it’s in the middle of nowhere kind of. The whole forest in the back. And bunch of squirrels and animals we loved watching.

Exquisite and High End

This home is exquisite in every way. Spacious, comfortable, nicely furnished and supplied. A beautiful way to enjoy the outside inside. The highlight is the upstairs shower. Amazing and rejuvenating. I loved the kitchen and the ease of the soft stairs. Enjoy the shaded deck for meals. This home is a gem. A bit hard to locate at first & backing out the driveway. So close to the lake. We loved it. It would be worth going back just for that shower!

Perfect Option for Mountain Getaway

We have stayed multiple times in Arrowhead and just found this lovely home which by far was the nicest and most well kept of them all. Located close to everything yet tucked away so you’re able to be to yourself. Great experience overall and we plan on returning in the next short while with the family. Can’t say enough great things about this home and the experience. A++

Great place to be

This house is very private and still close to town. Although their view does not contain the lake it had a beautiful view of the forest. The large windows in the house provide great views of the forest. This house has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. We will be looking to stay here again one day soon.

Temporary home

Temporary home We had to move out of our home in Lake Arrowhead for approximately four months and I found this property. It was great we loved the area we loved the yard our favorite thing was the back patio and having dinner out there almost every night the neighbors were wonderful and hope to continue that friendship. John the owner was great to work with on things that we needed to do.We also had to extend it a few times and John was great on that. We will be referring this property to friends and family when needed! Thanks so much for everything John!

The property was clean and quiet and had parking but there was no hair dryer. I feel like some amenities should be provided like shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, lotion. It also had cheesy decor, needs to be updated. TV in lower bedroom didn't work and couldn't use the fireplace. Guess you have to bring your own wood? There were instructions to clean up the place and I would think the money I pay, the cleaners should be able to provide those services. We couldn't get the garbage bin open, even with instructions provided, to take the garbage out like asked.

Fun weekend

Great house in a great location. Can’t beat it for the price. My only complaint is that it definitely wasn’t cleaned prior to our arrival. Dirty floors, counter tops, cob webs. Nothing crazy, but definitely noticeable.

Very good cabin with potential to be excellent.

My family (me & my wife, 3 & 1 year old kids) just got back from this cabin and overall it was good. This cabin and location has the potential to be excellent but a few things need improvement. First, the cabin is not that clean. As i walked in I noticed spider webs almost everywhere and a friendly spider that lived in one of the ground floor bathroom sinks. Additionally the outside areas around the front door and rear deck looked like no one had cleaned or swept for months. Then you had a lot of things falling apart in the house. Bath knobs and faucets either falling out of place or moving around. If you have young kids and think about bathing them in the downstairs tub then think again because the water drains so slowly it’s pointless. Additionally, the patio doors are very difficult to unlock and lock. There are also some great things about this cabin: -no Neighboor on one side -plenty of flat outdoor areas -long driveway and ability to drive up to front door. -very close to the village -nice kitchen to cook in It is a nice house but it feels like it has not been maintained recently.

Lake arrowhead Get-away

Spacious, quiet, excellent location, level entry, and paved drive made this property the perfect choice for our brief mountain getaway. Lots of nooks and crannies in this pet friendly rental allowed our guests to find their own spaces if wanted. Recommend Windexing of light fixtures and replacing burned out lamps during the cleaning process prior to new arrivals.

Beautiful Home but, It Stops There

When I booked the property at the beginning of August, 2020, I was told I could request an early/late check-out if the property was not booked. I was quite disappointed that wasn't honored. When I contacted Hammer's Mountain Patrol, I was told due to COVID19, that time was needed to thoroughly clean the property. Of course I then, expected, a thoroughly cleaned property. That was not the case. After having to mix and match and search for kitchen utensils for dinner my first night, I was quite surprised the dishwasher had not been emptied from the previous visitors. Even more, when I went to wash the bath towels the next night (you are only provided one bath towel per guest, no face clothes either) there were a few towels in the dryer. You would think since you are paying a cleaning fee, it would NOT be the responsibility of the incoming guest to empty a dishwasher and fold towels from the previous guests. In addition, one of the ovens and the bottom of the freezer is disgusting. I took a couple of pictures and was hoping to post here, but I don't see that as an option. In addition, don't expect a set of dishes to feed the 6 guests occupancy advertised. There were only two dinner plates and a few "lunch" or "dessert" plates which is not easy to use when having a steak dinner. There are also no steak knives, baking sheet, hand mixer, or blender. The minimum I was expecting and have had at other rentals. There were no dish towels either. Guests are expected to use paper towels (provided). The kitchen is also extremely disorganized, multiple cabinets containing the same items (in most cases, left by previous guests; shopping bags, paper goods, etc.). I was also a bit surprised to find several frozen food items left behind in the freezer from previous guests, as well a variety of things left in the panty. There were also random things sitting around the house in baskets or boxes. For example, there was a speaker bar sitting on a stool next to the fire place, next to a box with wires and an extension cord. There is a broken shower handle and, we had to tighten the shower head in the lower bathroom as water shot over the shower door. Also, if you are expecting to watch TV with cable/satellite, you will be disappointed. Streaming channels (NETFLIX, etc.) is your only option. That is not noted on the property detail. I did call regarding this on my first night (initially I thought TV was broken) but, have yet to get a returned call.

Lovely Mountain Getaway

A beautiful home with great spaces to relax both indoors and out. Had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Close to town/groceries/take-out. LOVED the upstairs shower in the treetops. Very responsive and helpful!
