I just adore this little unit! I've stayed here numerous times and it's always immaculate. The bed is super comfy. Melissa is a great host.

It's a nice little place to stay. It's in a great neighborhood, with an awesome pizza place and brewery just down the road.

Very nice place to stay

Lovely small house, very convenient to downtown Durango, very quiet and peaceful. Kitchen is excellent, beds are very comfortable. Walking distance to a small restaurant, easy driving to anywhere in Durango.

Great spot for two

We were pleasantly surprised at how roomy the space was. Host was very responsive and easy check in. Will definitely stay again when visiting our daughter who lives 2 blocks away.

My second stay!

This was my second time staying at this property and it was just as great as the first. The unit is very clean, the host very responsive, and the bed super comfy! Will stay again when work takes me back to Durango!

Excellent stay at Galaxyland

What a great time we had in this impeccably designed and appointed home. The host was great and location perfect. We loved the bed and the kitchen was great to cook breakfast outside. Space was nice to enjoy the warm morning. We will definitely stay again!

Charming stay

The accommodation provided a perfect location for our Durango visit. In addition, it was in perfect condition, had all the conveniences, and as clean of any we have enjoyed. We appreciated our charming host who was most responsive to all our needs.

Awesome Stay!

The place is basically in brand new condition, great location just outside of downtown, and just down the street from the main bike trail, great private setting, manicured grounds, with nice views, many places to get food within walking distance. All around great experience!

comfortable, clean, good location, well stocked, and very nice. Pictures and description are spot on. the owner was very responsive and gave us a great dinner location for 636 Main. Would visit again if in Durango.

Beautiful Durango retreat

Galaxyland is a truly lovely spot! The charming home is immaculate and the host, Melissa provided quick responses and help with any questions. The location is close to all things Durango and it’s easy to head north and explore beautiful Vallecito Lake. We loved our stay and are looking forward to returning soon!!

Perfect tiny house

Tiny house with a big heart. It was just right for my needs. So clean and charming. The location was great with easy access to restaurants and downtown. Very nice.

Great place!

I came out to Durango for work and this was the perfect home base. The host Melissa was very communicative and responsive. The neighborhood is quiet and private. The house was super clean and the bed incredibly comfortable. Would definitely stay again and have recommended to other colleagues.

Galaxyland was exactly add advertised. Seamless check-in. Melissa was very attentive. Location was great for us. Very well equipped and appointed. Neighborhood was very quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Great Vacation

We had a great stay at Galaxyland. The amenities were as described in the listing. The house is new, clean, and sunny with good ventilation. The location is quiet with beautiful views. It is about a 5 minute drive to the center of Durango, and there is easy access to routes in all directions. Melissa is a good host. She responded quickly to our questions and was very helpful.

Perfect getaway

Everything about Galaxyland was 5 stars, stylish, very clean, cozy and convienient. It's up a little private street away from noise and people and close enough to a nearby delicious bakery and pizza/rib joint so we walked to grab breakfast and dinners a few nights. We felt like locals living there. And, it's a 5 minute drive to the center of town where we loved exploring. Melissa really thought of the little things to make our stay special. The house is adorable and stocked with everything you would ever need. I loved looking out the windows at the views and walking around the neighborhood. We saw deer several times. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches. Melissa gave us great recommendations in her guidebook and she and was very informative about activities. We wish we could have stayed longer and can't wait to go back.

Perfect little guest house

I stayed for a long weekend and the place was perfect. Good location close to downtown. Quiet, private, clean, comfy furniture, and really nice linens. The location has a residential feel to it which is exactly what I was hoping for. Would definitely stay here again.

Pictures don't do it justice!

Seriously, the online pictures do not do this guest house justice. It is surrounded by trees and very private. We sat outside every morning with our coffee and every evening with a glass of wine. The views are fantastic and occasionally we would have a family of deer walk right by us. Yes, there's a coffee shop and pizza place close enough to walk to. But the location to the Animas River Trail and downtown area is very close as well. We rode our bikes to both. We stayed in the middle of August in case anyone is wondering what it is like during the warm months. We slept with the windows open and it was heaven. The temperature didn't warm up until late morning and by then we were off to wherever our 'adventure of the day' took us. The temperature dropped again in the evening in time for our return. The guest house has everything you need and a kitchen large enough and comfortable enough to make every meal. We love this place and are already planning our return trip next year!
