Wonderful place everything you need in walking distance

We had a great stay here and will look to return next year - feels lovely and spacious and the views are great breakfast on the balcony and sundowners watching the sun set. Amazing restaurants nearby and lovely pool bar with great helpful staff.

Magnifique

Magnifique appartement, nous avons apprécié le grand séjour, la terrasse avec vue sur la piscine et le couché du soleil, la propreté, les equipements. Une des meilleures location que nous avons eu en 10 ans.

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour ! L'appartement est aménagé avec goût et très bien équipé. Rien ne manque ! La résidence est calme et les piscines au top. Il est nécessaire d'avoir une voiture pour se rendre à la plage et visiter les environs. Très bonne communication avec la propriétaire. Merci

Stunning apartment with private roof terrace

Just returned from a fantastic stay at this beautiful well-equipped apartment. We found everything we needed and the location is perfect for a complete relax around the pool by day and fabulous dining in the marina, nearby Quinta or Val do lobo.

Property is in the perfect position to enjoy all that Vila Sol has to offer.

We have just returned from 3 weeks at Vila Sol in this lovely apartment. It has everything you need to able to enjoy your holiday. Best bits are the roof terrace where you can enjoy a lovely sunrise each morning & sunset at night with great views of the stars.As well as sunbathing (sun trap) you can eat there as there is a table & chairs but we found that eating on the balcony which is off the lounge was easier in the evening (didn't have to walk up the steps with food etc) and you still get the sunset. We had a lot of meals in there are two barbecues (Webber) the kitchen has everything you need.The beds are comfortable, the shower in the bathroom is great. The balcony overlooks the gardens & the pools. It is a short walk to the Vila Sol Plaza where there are restaurants, 2 cafes and a small grocery shop. We had two meals at Oscars which serves basic pub food (I'll give it 7/10)it also has some entertainment & quiz nights. We had a 'special' meal at Moon. A lovely 'fine dining'restaurant which looks out over the golf course, service was good and staff very friendly. Cost for three of us was 127Euros. There is also the Wildfire restaurant which we heard good reports about but we went there when we first arrived just for a drink, we were still in our travelling clothes (jeans etc) and received a less than favourable reception from one of the waiters, it was a Saturday night and we were not in our best clothes, so I refused to go back there. We decided not to have a car as we do a lot of driving at home. You can walk to Quartera in 45 minutes and Vilamoura in 1 hour. We usually got a taxi back which was between 6-8 Euros. The most local supermarket is Pingo Dolce which provided us with everything we needed and was 15 minutes walk. Unfortunately first part of the walk is on a main road with no pavement and you need to be careful as it is rough underfoot. We got used to it although I did have one fall by the roadside. We found a slightly better country road into Quartera. We loved the beach in Quartera, there are plenty of pavement cafes and places to eat (also toilets) on the promenade which is safe for walking. We found the best food there was in the side streets, lots of local food especially fish at reasonable prices. Overall can recommend this apartment and Vila Sol for a quiet relaxing holiday although I think we will have a car because trips to the supermarket will be easier and we could go out to other restaurants at night.

Great apartment with views over the pools

This is a spacious apartment with a large balcony over looking the pools plus a roof terrace. We found it to be clean, well equipped, albeit the furnishing, fixtures and fittings are a little older modern. The owners were very helpful before and during our stay. We are very familiar with Vilamoura and the surrounding area, having visited several times over the last 15 years. There are some great restaurants around the Marina but the cost of eating out is quite high compared to our first week further West at Lagos. Vila Sol itself is lovely and all the pools and their facilities are kept in very good and clean order. We did not play golf here but did play at nearby Victoria & The Old Course, both of which were very good, the Old Course particularly so. The surrounding area is well worth exploring and Zoo Marine is also a good day out. I would recommend the resort to those with kids as the pools are great.

Fantastic apartment

We were delighted on our arrival to find the apartment clean, well equipped, and exactly as promised in the on-line listing. The location is fantastic, with a number of good restaurants within easy walking distance, and local shops which stocked everything we could need. The view from the balcony and the roof terrace were brilliant; the whole area is very well looked after and couldn't be faulted. Our accommodation was extremely comfortable, and a welcome refuge from the glorious sunshine which we enjoyed on the many nearby golf courses. We would happily recommend this apartment to anyone planning a golf or leisure trip to this beautiful part of Portugal. We shall certainly be heading back!

Just the perfect apartment in a perfect location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here last year. The owners couldn't have been more helpful and the apartment was so well equipped with everything we needed. It's well located with the restaurants and bars just a few minutes walk away. We will be definitely be returning again!

Fabulous Apartment

The apartment is so comfortable with everything you need, it is close to the Vila Sol restaurants and walking distance to Pingo Doce supermarket. The apartment overlooks the pools, the roof terrace has a barbecue for the summer evenings and the views are amazing. This is our second stay at this apartment and we will definitely be booking again. Thank you Ronnaug and Mike we love your apartment.

Fantastic apartment

A beautiful apartment in an excellent and quiet location of Vila Sol. The apartment is well equipped and very spacious. It has lovely views on its top balcony across to the sea. The location is fantastic for the pools and Oscars bar/restaurant. It is also only a 5 minute drive to Vilamoura which is a beautiful town with lovely restaurants and bars which overlook a marina. Lots of excellent golf courses within a 5-10 minute drive away. This apartment is ideal for family holidays or for golfing weekends away. We would definately recommend it and cannot wait to stay in it next year. Thank you for letting us use it.
