Fantastic place

Had a fantastic three week stay here. Great location, close to the mainnpart of old town Lagis, but not too close. Gina was fantastic. We will be back!

Perfect stay in Lagos

We stayed for one week in the house which was ideally located in the old town. The house was very clean and everything which we needed was available.Would stay again.

Perfect location

We had a wonderful stay at Gina and Kirks lovely three bedroom three bathroom apartment in Lagos. Very clean and in a perfect location. They were wonderful host and answered all of our questions.

Perfect lodge and location

We had a perfect stay in Lagos at Gina’s house. The house is perfectly located in the city center and very close to the famous beaches. Very clean, spacious and well equipped. Gina’s preparation, information and hospitality were perfect - we had excellent holidays and would be very happy to return one day!

We had an excellent stay in this lovely property in Lagos. The house is very large, well equipped, and very well located close to the marina, beaches, cafés and supermarket. Ideal location in the Old Town

The apartment was perfect for our stay as we wanted to be near the action and vibe of the old town, but not so close as to be noisy. We had a lovely restaurant below the apartment, and small supermarket and other shops very close by. And of course the beach just across the road. We managed great with the car, once we sorted out the one way route through the old town, and managed to get parking very close to the apartment.

Everything we could have wished for

We couldn’t have had a better holiday. Fifth time in Lagos and the best accommodation so far. So convenient it’s unreal. Absolutely spotlessly clean when we arrived and just a pleasure to sit at the veranda and watch the street life, and listen to the chat from the excellent Ala do Castelo restaurant next door, who were wonderfully welcoming. Nothing but praise for the accommodation. A fantastic base to explore the amazing city of Lagos. We’ll be back.

Lovely Lagos town house

We really enjoyed our stay in Gina and Kirk's Lagos town house. It is very well equipped, has lovely big rooms and has a lovely homely feel. The property is so convenient for all the beaches, restaurants and ideal base to visit all parts of the Algarve and west coast of Portugal. Gina is a lovely lady and responds very promptly to questions and any help you may need during your stay. If I go back to Lagos one day, I would definitely want to stay there again.

Lovely week with my family in Lagos

We spent a week in July at Gina and Kirk’s property in central Lagos. Plenty of space for our grown up family of 4 and loved the ease of being able to walk to everything we wanted to do without the need for renting a car. Gina is the most lovely host and was always contactable and greeted us on arrival and departure with lots of great tips and advice as to where to go/what to do. Just a few minutes walk from the beach and restaurants etc. Highly recommended if you want a town house rather than a villa or hotel holiday.

Absolutely fantastic

WOW what can I say. About fantastic time staying in this property. There was 4 of us staying and when we arrived Gina was there to greet us and run through all utilities. Gina gave us a very warm welcome and the property was situated so close to everything required. We have stayed in Lagos Mary times and by far this was one of the best. Wonderful home in a great location

My friend Allison and I absolutely loved our stay here! The place is massive and could accommodate many more than just our two-we ended up using pretty much just the top floor. It was in an amazing central location to everything-in easy walking distance of most all of the beaches, marina, and lots of great restaurants. It was clean and well kept and had just about anything you could need. Additionally, Gina was so very helpful before and during our stay, and she answered all of my questions very timely. I would stay here again in an instant. Highly recommend for anyone going to visit Lagos!

Lagos old town.

Fantastic location. Apartment is very large and roomy. Could sleep eight easily, so was spacious for the two of us. Our host Gina met us at the property and showed us the amenities and left us with a very nice welcome basket to get us started. As with most places in the old parts of Portugal, parking and finding your way is just part of the experience. Thank you Gina.

Great Time in Lagos!!!

We came to the Algarve region mainly to go golfing with a group of three. We all had our own bedrooms and bathrooms, plus shared kitchen and living room which was more than enough room for all of us. Staying at Gina’s place was a perfect central hub for not only the golf; which was fantastic, but also the town of Lagos itself, and all the other amenities that were close at hand. We were located in Old Town, close to beaches, and the roads leading to wherever we needed to go. Gina was always available for whatever we needed and was a fantastic host and resource to our trio. We plan on visiting the region and lodgings once again next year to enjoy the hospitality provided.

We can only reiterate the numerous positive reviews already posted on here. Gina & Kirk's delightful town house is centrally located a few strides from the numerous restaurants, bars & places of interest in Lagos, yet it has a quaint residential aspect too. It's traditionally furnished, is super clean & has lots of space. Great hosts, who can provide help & advice if needed. It was perfect for our needs & we rate it 10/10 on every count. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again, if/when we return to the delightful town of Lagos. Thank you, Gina & Kirk.

Perfect Lagos Vacation

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. We’ve never been to Lagos so we weren’t sure about locations. This town house was the perfect location to walk to beaches, the marina and in town with all the restaurants. We parked our car (free parking) for the duration of our stay and walked everywhere. The town house is exactly how it appears in the pictures. Since it was only my husband and I we only utilised the upstairs. But we did enjoy how spacious the town house was. The host Gina was more than helpful with communications and help with directions. A couple of more towels could have been left but otherwise it was perfect. We would definitely stay here again

A Royal Stay!!

My husband and I were traveling with our three daughters (19, 21 and 22) and had an absolutely lovely stay at Gina’s flat — inside the Castle walls! The accommodations were even better than indicated in the pictures. The flat was clean, organized and spacious— perfect for our our family. We loved the indoor and outdoor living space. Gina is an exceptional host— helpful, friendly and so welcoming. She was flexible in meeting us later than we originally planned and was waiting with a big smile when we arrived. The central location was perfect for walking to the beach and all the local sights. Gina left loads of helpful travel guides and material and we took advantage of the beaches and boat tours right out of the nearby marina. We even found a lively church (Oasis Christian Church) that was only a four minute walk and met loads of friendly locals and visitors there— what a treat! We all hope to return to Lagos and would definitely stay at Gina’s again. Highly recommend!!

Great Location! Beds need upgrade

Gina was a wonderful host! She met us at the property and was very friendly and communicative. You can’t beat the location - close to the beach and the center of old town! The space was clean. There are two bedrooms downstairs right when you walk in, and one bedroom upstairs by kitchen and the living room. There is only AC in the living room and the upstairs bedroom - not the two downstairs bedrooms. 2/3 bedrooms are double twins, one is a full size. I enjoyed everything about this stay except the beds…they did not have a mattress cover and the beds are on a spring mattress with no padding. The pillows are so old, worn, and thin with cotton coming out…this would receive 5 stars if the bedding and towels were updated. Other than that, it was a nice stay and a great price.

Perfect location for exploring Lagos and area.

We were three couples, stayed just over three weeks…and we didn’t want to leave! A well appointed kitchen, 3 bed and 3 baths, some furniture a little worn but exactly as represented by price and photos in the listing. Don’t let that dissuade you as this is a comfy, clean home in a great location in the old town, walled section of Lagos that is just off the very busy section so a short walk to many restaurants and shops; a very short walk to the nearest of many nearby beaches and walking trails/ boardwalks; easily walkable to the twice weekly farmers market, marina, bus station and train station. Walk a little further outside the walled area to several large grocery stores and many more restaurants and even more beaches and boardwalks. Owner Gina and Kirk is very quick to respond and very kindly welcomed us with a few food and drink items which we so appreciated after a long day of travelling to get there! Gina also came weekly to clean and change bedding/towels and gave us great suggestions for day trips taking local transit. Thank you Gina! We loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!
