This was our first time to Zermatt so I can offer some advice to others now. The location is great for advanced skiers because it is very close to the Matterhorn Express gondola, but that’s limited to advanced areas (harder reds and blacks). Sunnega is the more common gondola and is on the other side of town. It has all types of runs, so we were taking the free e-buses each day.The tech in the condo could be updated. There’s an older Bose stereo without Bluetooth, and a small TV with cable, but no option to cast. If you are hoping to watch a movie as a family or something, you ought be disappointed.The mattresses are older, and the bedding is two twin beds in both bedrooms. If you push two together to make a larger bed, you still feel the separation of the mattresses.The unit is conveniently located on the ground floor, which is great. The shower was awesome. Having two full bathrooms was helpful. The kitchen is well appointed.There is a washer and dryer in the building, but you need Swedish Francs to use the machines, so I had to keep going to the local bar for change.I would give this 5 stars if they updated the mattresses (newer) and tech (bigger, newer TV). If neither of those matter to you, then you’ll love the place.

An awesome VRBO. Great location, unparralled views of Matterhorn and a well appointed apartment. David was very responsive to my questions. This is the place to stay in Zermatt. Perfect for two couples with two full bathrooms. We will always use this place in the future visits.

Wonderful visit

Three hiking friends and I stayed. Found it very comfortable, airy, bright, and stocked with everything we needed. My only comment would be to add a shower curtain on the tube shower and a shower head that is higher on the wall so an adult can take a shower conveniently.

Fantastic view of Matterhorn

Apartment is located a super location to have the full view of Matterhorn. Nice size of rooms, two balconies have direct view of Matterhorn. Kitchen facilities are adequate but can be improved. However, nice to have two baths but the shower area needs to be renovated.

Beautiful location

The apt was very nice, spacious, clean, with fantastic views! A canal runs just below building with soothing sounds of water. Close to town, shops, restaurants, gondola stations and buses. 2 problems: We had trouble with washing machine and owner was out of country so although he responded, we couldn't get help with it. Local caretaker also didn't know what to do. The building laundry room has washers but we couldn't figure those out either. All instructions in German (we're American) and we couldn't get enough change to use. It wasn't even clear how much it cost. We did finally get the apt washer to work on our last day. All this to say that it would be helpful to have a property manager locally who could help with these issues. Only other complaint is that there were helicopters flying around the building every day due to construction. I mean right next to and over the building, to the extent that we couldn't go in or out of the building at certain times. Workers had area closed off. Other than these things, we enjoyed the apt and our stay there.

Beautiful property and great location!

The property is just like the pictures. Beautiful views, very clean and really comfortable. It was my husband, two teenage daughters and I that stayed and we loved it. The ski lift is a 2 min walk and everything is really close too. David was great to communicate with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Amazing location and views

Within a stones throw of the main Furi lift up the mountain this apartment does not disappoint. Beautiful Matterhorn views out the living room window and from the dining and living area balconies. Awesome West-facing sun on the deck for aprés. We also appreciated the large ski & boot room right at the entrance and on the same level as the apartment, as well as the overall size of the common areas in the apartment. The primary bath needs a little bit of tile maintenance in the shower, but it was clean and everything worked as expected. A, would definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot! Lovely flat.

Check-in process could not have been better. Great communication. We were even able checkin a bit early, which was so helpful with all our luggage.The view of the Matterhorn was spectacular. We loved sitting on the balcony with the most incredible view. The other windows have great views of town and the river.Great location with a quick 2 minute walk to the Glacier Paradise ski resort and and little longer 5-10 minute walk to the town center.The flat was roomy and very comfortable for our family of 5.Fantastic place!

Great location to ski lift

Nice, clean property in VERY close proximity to Matterhorn express ski lift. Was easy to get to the lift with small children carrying their own skis. Very responsive property manager. I would stay again.

Bien situé

L’appartement est bien situé pour partir en randonnée et faire les courses. C’est plutôt calme, même si on entend le bruit de la rivière, juste en dessous de l’immeuble. Les lits sont confortables. La vue sur le Cervin est surtout appréciable sur la terrasse, car depuis l’intérieur de l’appartement, on ne le voit pas beaucoup.

Great place, great location

We enjoyed a long weekend with friends. The apartment has everything you need to enjoy a good time and to self cater. It’s right next to the Matterhorn express station and super close to the center.
