Villa de lujo de propiedad privada en un desarrollo único que cuenta con cancha de tenis iluminada y piscina. La villa se encuentra en una posición elevada en las afueras del bonito pueblo de Tar de Istria, con fantásticas vistas de la costa y los olivares, pero a pocos pasos de tiendas, bancos, restaurantes y bares. El hermoso pueblo pesquero de Novigrad con su nuevo puerto deportivo y la bulliciosa ciudad romana de Porec se encuentran a pocos minutos en coche. La villa está bien posicionada como base para visitar los pueblos medievales de Motovun y Groznjan, el promontorio veneciano de Rovinj y las espectaculares cuevas de Baredine. El valle de Mirna, desde donde se puede observar la vida silvestre, incluidas nutrias y aves rapaces en abundancia, está a solo unos minutos en coche. Dos nuevos parques acuáticos, Istralandia y el recientemente abierto parque acuático multimillonario 'Aquacolours' están a poca distancia en coche de la villa y ofrecen un gran día para niños y adultos por igual.

Die Unterkunft bietet alles was man braucht. Schön eingerichtet. Gemeinschafts- Pool ist auch toll. Der obere Stock ist im Sommer aber einfach zu heiss zum schlafen. Die Klimaanlage ist nur im Gang und kühlt die Schlafzimmer nicht. Leider stellt die Klimaanlage nach Max 1 Stunde wieder ab und man muss sie wieder manuell einschalten.

Our experience

It's just a very nice apartment. Air conditioning where necessary, nice terrace and a great (shared) swimming pool. The photos on the site do not do the apartment justice, in reality the living room in particular is much more spacious. In short, a great place to spend your vacation.

Es war super. Die Anlage ist ruhig gelegen. Zum Meer sind es nur wenige Autominuten. Das Haus war einwandfrei sauber und der Kontakt unkompliziert. Top!

Great vacation property

The property was well laid out out and comfortable. The garden and view was spectacular. Having a pool and tennis court on site was a bonus. Would rent again anytime.

A wonderful and relaxing vacation

We, a family with two children from Germany, spent a wonderful holiday in Tar in August 2022. The cottage is generously equipped and very well maintained. It has a nice little garden with a seating area and there is a very well maintained pool in the complex. The cottage is in a very quiet location, right on the outskirts of Tar. Jo and Keith are extremely friendly hosts and were always willing to help with any questions or concerns. Tar is a nice little place where you can walk to everything you need. There are several beaches in the area which can be reached by a short drive. Lanterna Beach in particular was ideal for us with the children.

Heerlijk verblijf met prachtige zonsondergang en dichtbij zee

Ruime vakantiewoning voor ons gezin met drie kinderen. Dichtbij de zee en in een dorp met veel restaurantjes op loopafstand. Huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. Zwembad is klein maar prima om even af te koelen. Gastheer en vrouw heel handig naast de deur en heel gastvrij met goede tips voor de omgeving.

Prachtig vakantiehuis in knus dorpje Tar

Het huis is prachtig samen met het uitzicht. De verhuurder zijn zeer hartelijk. Het zwembad is op de foto's echter groter dan in werkelijkheid. Jammer van de vele wespen rondom en in het zwembad.

Nice place, wonderful hosts

We spent 2 weeks in Tar with two adults and two teenage daughters. The villa is 100% as described and the owners/hosts (Jo and Keith) are wonderful. They provided us with great recommendations for both restaurants and sightseeing. There are many nice beaches nearby, although, we mostly enjoyed the pool and tennis court. Overall, a perfect place to enjoy Istria, its unique history and some terrific Croatian hospitality. A great and highly recommended experience!

Lovely house in a great location!

We spent a lovely 2 weeks here. The house was airy, clean and well furnished. The view from the terrace was excellent. The pool and grounds were well kept. Jo and Keith were staying next door and were helpful with local knowledge. It was lovely having Tar in walking distance with all its restaurants and local grocers/bakers etc. When we did venture out, there was loads to do - towns & villages to visit on the coast and inland, great coast to swim from, waterparks for the kids. And lots more I'm sure if the weather hadn't been so stunning and made us lazy. We came home feeling so relaxed!

Great modern villa. Nice shared pool and outdoor area. Great location

Spent two weeks at the villa in August 18. 2 adults and 3 kids (12, 16 & 26). The villa had everything we needed plus a bit more (cool box and beach shoes which you will need for Croatian beaches). The pool was clean and not too busy. Had it to ourselves quite a few times. The villa is on the edges of Tar which has several excellent restaurants, a bakers and supermarket on the other edge of town (20 min walk). Very handy for eating out rather than having to drive any where. We explored quite a bit of the area including Porec and Rovinj (our favorite place) beach is also very close. Jo and Keith were staying in the villa next door which was very handy as they gave us a lot of information about the local area and where things were. Excellent place to stay and base yourself for exploring the area.

A beautiful villa in a great location.

We enjoyed a great two week stay in August. The villa was comfortable, spotless and spacious enough for a family of five. The garden provided a lovely outdoor space for mealtimes and the bbq was a bonus too. Keith and Jo the owners were staying on the complex at the same time as us and were a wealth of knowledge about the local area. They recommended places to visit for days out and which local restaurants ( of which there were many within walking distance) to try. We would definitely recommend this villa as an ideal base to explore the many beautiful places in Istria.

Very well appointed villa in Istria

A really well appointed 3-bedroom villa in an excellent location. We - a family of two adults and two children (age 11 and 9) - had just over a week here, and found the property very comfortable, with all facilities/amenities to hand. The terrace to the rear has a beautiful aspect looking west - some great sunsets over the adjacent vineyard - and the built-in BBQ got two outings. Pool and tennis court (racquets and balls are provided) were both appreciated and very well-used. Tar is not big, but has a bank, shops/supermarket (bakery deserves special mention) and a nice cafe in the centre. Plenty of restaurants too, with Arka and Teran (our favourite) a cut above the rest. All within easy walking distance. Rovinj, Porec and Novigrad just short drives away, and access to coast available at Lanterna resort. Two waterparks also close by - we went to Istralandia and had an absolutely brilliant day. Owners Jo and Keith were staying in the complex at the same time. They were an excellent source of advice and help, but never intrusive. We would happily return!

Great week in Tar

The property was beautifully situated with all the amenities of a modern three bedroomed house. We had a great time exploring the many coves and restaurants both by the sea and in the town. It was a trip back in time from cost, relaxed atmosphere and architectural standpoints.

Istrian Escape

Had a marvellous week in Tar in early June. The apartment is on a small well maintained complex, beautifully furnished and equipped with all you would need. The pool is just a few steps away and a real bonus in the hot weather that we enjoyed. The tennis (hard) court is right to hand, in good condition and very private as we were the only users during our stay. We are pleased that we chose this particular apartment as it has a superior location on the 'front row' of the development. This means that you benefit from a great view over open countryside (you can even see the alps in the distance on a clear day !) as well as afternoon and evening sun and some spectacular sunsets. The outside eating area is great, with dappled shade provided by a lovely kiwi growing over the pergola. Tar village has a good variety of excellent restaurants within 5-10m walk. We tried out 4 of them and were impressed with the standard of food but particularly the small bill at the end ! - amazing value. We loved the local wine and discovered a local producer nearby 'Elvio' who allows tasting and sells straight from the vat (bring your own plastic bottles). Nice baker, butcher and grocery store are handy but we tended to do bigger shops at the supermarkets a short drive away. We had some great excursions to the coast for brilliant fish and seafood and the occasional pizza.... thanks to Keith and Jo for their recommendations. Particularly enjoyed Novigrad, Porec, Rovinj and Vrsar but also some little beachside restaurants within 15m drive If you haven't been to Croatia/Istria before, then I would highly recommend it, and this location and apartment is a great choice to get the best of both village and coast life, with pool and tennis thrown in if that's your thing. We will be back !

Croatia

This was our first family visit to Croatia & we were pleasantly surprised with the entire area. Tar which is the nearest village to the complex is less than 5 minutes walk away with a number of very good restaurants. The complex itself was small with only about 10 apartments. The tennis court is nearby & the pool is quiet but really nice for a relaxing dip at the end of the day. The apartment itself was very clean with everything you could possibly need: Fully equipped kitchen, TV, Satellite, safe, ironing board & iron Etc. The entire Istrian coast has numerous towns which are both historic yet lively especially Porec which we particularly enjoyed.

As we have spent a considerable amount of time in Istria I think we can give more local information than you would normally obtain from a brochure, or browsing the internet.

We love this area because it has excellent access from many airports, as well as being easy driving distance from the UK. The surrounding area has so much to offer and the coastline is amazing with it's many islands and inlets complimented by the crystal clear warm water of the Adriatic. The countryside is very unspoilt and the local people are so friendly. Istria was once part of Italy and you will see the Italian influence with architecture and wonderful cuisine. There are great restaurants in the village of Tar together with bars and bakeries offering excellent pastries, coffee and ice creams at prices you will find very pleasing. The neighbouring towns of Novigrad and Porec offer similar variety on a larger scale, seafood, steaks, pasta and pizzas are all of excellent quality. Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The small Bella Vista complex is very unusual having a floodlit all weather tennis court and a pool, both of which are only a few steps from our door. The house is a short walk from the village centre, yet in a quiet location. We love the tennis court and pool, and swimming in the warm sea at any of the local beaches is a treat. You really can do as much or as little as you like at Bella Vista.
