A menos de 5 minutos a pie, en las aceras adecuadas con alumbrado público, a restaurantes (incluyendo tradicional árabe y español), bares, supermercados y farmacias, pero estar totalmente privado en 2000 metros cuadrados de terreno. A poca distancia de otros pueblos con 2 restaurantes, tiendas, bares y bancos. Las hermosas playas de Nerja, Torre del Mar y Algarrobo están a 20-25 minutos en coche. La casa se accede por carretera asfaltada, así que no hay necesidad de alquilar un vehículo 4x4. La casa está bien equipada y amueblada y es mantenido por una pareja británica local. La propiedad es amplio y luminoso en el verano pero acogedor en el invierno con una estufa de leña y calentadores eléctricos. Archez se encuentra a 1 hora en coche del aeropuerto de Málaga y 1. 5 horas para Granada y 2. 5 horas para Sevilla. Los pueblos de Canillas de Albaida y Corumbella están a poca distancia. Las estaciones de Nerja y Torre del Mar están a media hora de distancia. El esquí en la Sierra Nevada se encuentra a 2 horas en coche y hay dos campos de 18 hoyos de fácil accionamiento.

Justo lo que necesitaba

Me ha parecido todo excelente, la casa fenomenal las crías se lo han pasado de cine en la piscina, el sol y la tranquilidad del lugar han hecho posible desconectar y descansar que era nuestro propósito. Han sido y serán inolvidables. Era justo las vacaciones que necesitábamos.

Lovely villa with all that you need, even tv with UK terrestrial channels for those who cannot do without. Great views to enjoy looking at with a gin and tonic. Walk to Archez and back had two walks, one very steep but short and one longer but less strenuous. We mixed it up depending how we felt! Great places to visit nearby, within an hour, Competa, Sayalonga, Frigilana and Nerva.

We had a super week in this villa, just the perfect place to relax with local amenities no to far away.The first time driving to property could be abit nerve wracking if your not used to the spainish mountain roads ,but the road is well maintained. Many thanksJon and Ali.

This is a gem of place - and the check in process and communication with the owners is just perfect. Please note that while it is just 5 mins from the village/restaurants, the 10 min walk up the hill back to the villa will burn more than 2000 calories. It is steep! In the evening this is ok but during the hot midday sun it is impossible. The villa has everything you need - pool towels, comfy beds and every condiment under the sun. The village restaurants are fantastic and the locals are super friendly. The only negative for us was the number of barking dogs in the village - this often took away from the peace and tranquility of the setting when they started talking to each other.

Blissful Escape

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Flores and found everything satisfactory. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. The trip up and down the mountain was an adventure and the local restaurants and people were lovely and the prices were really reasonable though we found the generous portion sizes too much for us. The pool was divine and we spent so much time in it due to the weather being so hot. The sun beds were good quality and with very comfortable cushions as an addition. A parasol to shade under would be a welcome addition by the pool. It was a lovely way to spend our 40th wedding anniversary and the thoughtful touch of the card and sweets were well received. Thank you so much to our hosts.

Comfortabel huis, wel rumoerig

Het huis is heerlijk! Wij waren er in november en dus kan het fris zijn. De airco’s verwarmen het huis ook en doen dat goed. De keuken is goed uitgerust met alles wat je nodig hebt. Ook buiten is het erg fijn. Met name de bedden zijn echt geweldig, de beste tot nu toe in Spanje die we hebben gehad. Let wel op: je kijkt uit over de vallei en in die vallei kan het erg rumoerig zijn en daar heb je wel last van: gillende kinderen, feestjes in de kroeg en motoren galmen je tegemoet op je berg. in Spanje tot nu toe!

Wonderful

My wife and I recently stayed at Casa De Flores and had a really enjoyable stay. The house is situated in a stunning location overlooking the village of Archez and the surrounding hills. There is absolutely everything you require and more. Great communication from the owner. Would highly recommend staying here and we would love to go back in the future.

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad in La Casa de Flores. Auto raden wij ten zeerste aan. De 1e dag even een korte spannende steile helling omhoog om bij het huis te komen maar dat went snel. Het huis heeft een prachtig uitzicht. Voor de kleine boodschapjes kun je goed in het dorpje Archez beneden terecht maar meerdere dorpjes zijn met de auto op ongeveer 10 min afstand en dan zijn er meer mogelijkheden. Het huisje heeft alles wat je maar nodig hebt, alles was keuring schoon en netjes. Natuurlijk hebben we het meeste genoten van de tuin, fijne sfeer, het heerlijke zwembad, super lekker liggende zwembad bedjes en diverse plekjes om heerlijk te zitten met in het bijzonder de veranda waar volop schaduw is en je kunt genieten van het mooie uitzicht. De gastvrouw was fijn in de communicatie en stond altijd voor je klaar. Wij geven de plek een dikke 10 en wensen aankomende bezoekers een net zo fijne tijd toe als dat wij dat hebben gehad.

Just perfect

Communication with Margaret prior to going was great, lots of helpful information received. The villa and grounds are even more beautiful than the pictures show. The most perfect place to relax and escape from the hustle and bustle! Archez is very pretty and has a few bars and an amazing restaurant, Venta El Curro, which we were told is the best restaurant in the area. It was great as we were able to walk there, which only took five minutes. There is a stunning walk way just a few minutes from the villa to the next village, which was just breathtaking. My husband and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to our friends and family and will most definitely be returning!

Fijn huis

Wij hebben een fijn verblijf gehad. Leuk huis met gezellige plekjes buiten om te vertoeven. Alles is aanwezig. Heerlijk zwembad, waar we veel gebruik van hebben gemaakt. Het inchecken via een tablet was voor ons de eerste keer zo. Lukte eerst niet, maar de volgende dag gelukkig alsnog.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus

Wir haben ein perfekt ausgestattetes Ferienhaus mit Pool vorgefunden, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und sehr gut erholt. Mietwagen würden wir empfehlen. Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist ziemlich steil, aber ohne Probleme zu bewältigen.

Beautiful location, beautiful scenery

Very private property in a lovely village. Good location to visit surrounding white villages and only half an hour from nearest beaches. Lovely walks in surrounding area and a good few restaurants to choose from in surrounding villages if you are there for a longer period of time. Would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful house overlooking a quaint village

Casa de La Flores is a beautiful house in a stunning location. The only downside are the hills up to the house which are not for the faint hearted! We used Maria’s taxi anywhere we wanted to go, but in truth we spent most days at the house by the beautiful pool. Margaret the owner was amazing to deal with before and during our stay. We couldn’t fault the house itself, or the pool it truly was beautiful.. the pool was a perfect depth and size for us and our 2 kids (13 and 12) hours of sun and fun was had!! Truthfully you are only 5 mins walk from the village of Archez but a car would be advised if you want to explore, we didn’t do a lot so it was perfect for us! Although the hills up to the house were a struggle, what awaits at the top is fab! Carl the guy who looks after the property and cleans the pool even gave me a lift to the next village up as I needed the pharmacy! So lovely and the local people are lovely and so helpful! We visited the other 2 villages above Archez, Canillas de Albaida and Competa and tried a few local restaurants which were fab! Thanks again Margaret for sharing your beautiful house with us.. Relaxing holiday with friends

This is our second stay at at this villa. Very comfortable and relaxing holiday in the beautiful peaceful village of Archez. The house and garden is well kept, as is the pool which is regularly maintained. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The beds are very comfortable and all windows are secured with mosquito screens. Since our last visit air conditioning has been installed. The terrace has a comfortable seating area perfect to watch the sunrise or relax in the evening, there are also two outside dining tables and a bbq. The owner Margaret was helpful with her advice before and during our stay. Great base for visiting surrounding villages with a superb choice of restaurants. A five minute walk down the road you will find an outstanding steakhouse, cafe bar and small shop. Thank you Margaret and Brian for sharing your home with us

Private, well-equipped, clean and modern villa with great views

Family of fours stayed for a week. Had a fab time. Pool was great - not massive but big/deep enough for four adults to have fun. Fantastic views over the nearby valley and villages. The villa is very private not overlooked by anyone. Árchez is a beautiful village with a few restaurants and bars. The owner (Margaret) is easy to communicate, very helpful with lots of great advice. All and all, we had a great family holiday in La Casa De Flores.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

After viewing 14 properties in 3 days, we fell in love with this one as soon as we came through the gates. The gardens and terraces are beautiful and the views are absolutely stunning. Because we are driving a lot at work we wanted to be within walking distance of at least 1 restaurant and 1 supermarket. We are lucky enough to be able to walk to 3 restaurants and 2 supermarkets in our own village and a similar number in the next village. I often travel to our villa alone and wanted to have somewhere that was private but not isolated. The real deciding factor though, was the warmth of the local people. Our village is a small Spanish community where the most valuable assets are family and friends.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The fact that the village is very self contained means that we don't always need to rent a car as we can buy everything that we need locally. If we want to take a trip to Granada, Seville etc we will rent a car, but if not, Maria, the local taxi driver, will collect us at the airport and take us back there at the end of our holiday. The majority of our returning guests do not rent a car now.
