La Herradura es un lugar de vacaciones perfecto para aquellos que quieren la verdadera España. Un apartamento muy bien amueblado en una zona tranquila con impresionantes vistas sobre la bahía de La Herradura. A 5 minutos en coche de la playa y el pueblo. El apartamento se beneficia de una hermosa área de piscina, cancha de paddle, cancha de baloncesto, estacionamiento subterráneo y entrada segura con intercomunicador. La Herradura es una de las bahías más bonitas de la costa sur de España. El pueblo cuenta con una excelente selección de chiringuitos, bares, restaurantes y tiendas que ofrecen todo lo que pueda necesitar. Hay un montón de deportes acuáticos y campos de golf a 30 minutos. La encantadora ciudad de Nerja está a 15 minutos en coche y el tradicional pueblo de Almuñécar se encuentra a 10 minutos de distancia.

Amazing!!!!

We are repeat customers and keep coming back as we love this place. The apartment is a perfect base for holidays to La Herradura and feels like a home from home. Beautifully furnished and what a view from the balcony. Wow! ! You won't be disappointed. 5 stars!!!!!!

Lovely apartment. Great views and very well equipped

We loved our stay in La Herradura. The beach at the far end was a particular favourite - rocky areas and lovely deep sea - we were swimming three steps into it. We saw lots of fish. A slight annoyance was the "opening times" for the pool. We have not had this before and to be restricted to 10-3 and 5-9 was a little annoying. However, it was big enough to swim in which was nice.

Great holiday

Met by Mina who took us up to the property very late at night due to late flight. Made us feel very welcome. Kind enough to supply us with wine which was very much needed. It had everything we needed including in the kitchen and beach towels and equipment. Children loved using the body boards and crocodile inflatable and we left a few things so other guests can use them too. Pool and tennis court were great and complex was very quiet during the evening. Great underground car park though was the steepest slope down I’ve been on for a while. Only one minor criticism was welcome back could have been more specific but it was very easy to find out stuff for ourselves. La Herradura was a lovely town and we would love to come back one day. We had an amazing holiday..

Me, my wife & my two young sons thoroughly enjoyed our time in the property. There are several pleasant beaches all within 10 minutes drive. A Car is essential as the property is at the top of a steep hill. Also it gives you the freedom to explore the area & its spectacular scenery. The apartment was beautifully decorated & Comfortable. The showers & all of the fixtures & fittings were of a high standard. The view from the bedroom balcony & the main terrace was stunning We enjoyed our evening meals on the terrace & watching the dramatic sunsets . Mina the managing agent was affable & couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The meet & greet service was a nice touch. It was useful as we could ask Mina any questions which she was glad to answer. If we visit the area again I would definitely book again. All in all a great holiday for all of the family.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped. The views from the balcony were stunning and the pool was great. A car is essential as it's too far up a steep hill to walk from the village.

Prachtig uitzicht en compleet appartement

Heerlijke woning met alles erop en eraan en een balkon met fijne stoelen en prachtig uitzicht op de baai. Leuke uitstapjes gemaakt. Frigiliana vonden wij top en de grotten van Nerja ook echt de moeite waard. Verder lekker bij het zwembad gezeten dat zich buiten aan het einde van de galerij bevindt op 40 meter afstand.

An ideal setting for a family holiday

We stayed for a week at the apartment with our 17 year old son. It was exactly as it was described on the website, immaculately clean, well maintained and containing all the essentials that you would need, and more besides. Lynne could not have been more helpful and attentive before and during our stay, and was very accommodating when we needed to vary our checking-out time. La Herradura is a lovely resort, with a pleasant beach and plenty of choice of eating places with good quality food on the menu. As other reviewers have mentioned, a car is absolutely essential as the apartment is set high above La Herradura and we can testify that the walk back up the hill is rather exhausting! All in all we would have no hesitation in staying here again next time we come back to the area. Highly recommended!

A wonderful family holiday.

This was perfect for us; a family with one 15 year old and one 11 year old. The apartment had everything we could want and was kept in great order. I will miss the view from the balcony...a great location to sit and watch the sun set. All correspondence was quickly met by Lynne and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this to others. One piece of advice, you definitely need a car!

Super Wohnung, in eine super Lage!!

Wir , Familie mit ein Kind, hatten super 2 Wochen fast ,gehabt . Die Wohnung liegt in eine super Lage, mit einem tollen Blick auf‘s Meer und super eingerichtet, Mann hat einfach alles was Mann braucht . Die Vermieter habe ich persönlich nicht gekannt, aber es hat alles top funktioniert. Da die Entgegen soviel zu anbieten hat ,Werde sicher nochmals hinreisen .

Appartement met mooi uitzicht. Alles is aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Mooi ruim balkon. La Herruda is een charmant plaatsje en ook de omgeving is aantrekkelijk met mooie baaien en stranden.

Thank you for a nice stay!

We stayed in Lynnes apartment for almost 8 weeks in March/April. Lynne was very helpful. Called and emailed us to be sure everything was ok. The kitchen is well equipped, so we made all our meals there. We were very grateful for the heater because it was rather cold these two months. This is a quiet area, but sometimes there could be some noise from the tennis court right under the apartment. We loved the walk to the town, and the way back gave us a good exercise. This is a perfect place to stay if you are interested to explore the mountains and the villages around, so thank you for the book about the backroads! The only thing we missed was the afternoon sun. We loved the La Herradura area, and hope we can come back another time. Terje and Ann from Norway.

Wonderful relaxing holiday

We've just returned from a month-long holiday at the best-equipped and most comfortable apartment we've ever rented. The quiet, relaxing atmosphere was just what we were looking for as a retired couple. Thoroughly recommended.

Beautiful relaxing location with stunning views!

A wonderful relaxing 2 week break in the Spanish sunshine! This is the second time we have stayed in Lynne and Stuart's apartment but this time my husband and I brought our 6 month old baby boy with us. This apartment has all the amenities you will need and more to have a great holiday and is finished with a homely and stylish interior. The price is very reasonable for such lovely clean accommodation. The views are stunning and the balcony is sheltered, decorative and very relaxing to sit and take five or to put your feet up for the evening. A highchair, baby cot, etc are available if required as the apartment has two large size bedrooms which was perfect for us with a young baby. The pool is so handy, very private, a good size and in excellent condition. A car is a must as the apartment is located up a big hill from the beach front but in a car it is only a 3 minute drive. The beautiful bay of La Herradura is family-friendly, busy and still very Spanish. There are lots of restaurants and bars to choose from but long days on the beach were perfect followed by a long night on the balcony of the apartment. It was nice to have the choice! Nerja is a 10 minute drive away, as is Almenecar and these towns have a busier night life if that's what you're after. Again, nice to have the variety of towns depending on what you fancy that day/night. La Herradura has really good taxi services; prompt, clean and safe. We had a wonderful stay again and Lynne is friendly, accommodating and professional to communicate with. Lynne is extremely helpful and informed about the apartment and the bay itself. We will definitely be returning and may even bring our parents next time! Thank you Lynne and Stuart for having us x

A wonderful holiday in La Herradura

This property is of a very high standard. The accommodation exceeds what you would normally expect of a holiday let. The views from the apartment are beautiful. The accommodation has access to a lovely pool, tennis court and basketball court. We took two children one of 17 and one of 8 both of whom didn't want to come home. This part of Spain is Spanish (Not Britain by sea) it has lovely restaurants, beaches and castles to visit all in close proximity to the apartment. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone. The owners are professional and personal in their approach. Car Rental is a must if you wish to explore. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you

Lovely relaxing apartment with great views

We really enjoyed our stay in La Herradura. The apartment is perfect for a small family like ours with everything you need for your stay including all kitchen equipment and things for the beach. The pool is lovely and the terrace is great to relax some more after a hard day. Our favourite beach was the one at del la Mona which is a short drive away towards Almunecar and has a nice local restaurant on the beach. Nerja is nice for a day trip shopping and Grenada for the Alhambra but be sure to buy tickets in advance.

Fantastic week!!! Gorgeous apartment.

Enjoyed our stay

We had a wonderful stay in this comfortable apartment above La Herradura with fantastic views of the bay and the town. We watched the sunrise over the Punta De La Mona and enjoyed breakfast on the sunny terrace. It's a short drive down the hill to the beach and another 5 mins into town.

Our apartment in La Herradura is very special to us. We have had and still do have lovely family holidays there. As our family grows it gets even better.
I first discovered the village some 17 years ago when I visited a friends apartment. I fell in love with the area, it was so unspoilt and still retains that Spanish charm today.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The views from the apartment are fantastic and it was the views and peaceful aspect that appealed to us. We love nothing more after a day on the beach than relaxing with a bottle of wine and some good food on the balcony.
