IDEAL FAMILIA VILLA PACÍFICA EN GASTOURI CON JARDINES Y PISCINA

Ubicado en una colina en el verdadero país de Durrell cubierto de pinos, cipreses, olivos, frutales y nueces. Villa Pascalia tiene total privacidad y tiene vistas al mar a la costa noreste de Corfú y el Monte Pantakrator. Los espaciosos interiores se abren a terrazas de villas cubiertas, la terraza de la piscina, un área con césped y una terraza lateral, a la sombra de un gran olivo y bordeadas de grafito, buganvilla y rosas. El pueblo de Gastouri se encuentra a 10 minutos a pie y tiene tres tabernas, (hay pittas para llevar disponibles) un pequeño mini mercado y una panadería tradicional con horno de leña. El pueblo pesquero de Benitses está a 5 minutos en coche. La playa de arena de Agios Gordis (en la costa oeste) está a 15 minutos en coche, al igual que la ciudad de Corfú, con su increíble historia y sus restaurantes cosmopolitas. Un montón de tiendas y delicias locales.

Séjour parfait. Superbe maison complètement équipée, vue mer, arrivée un peu compliquée mais il suffit de suivre l’itinéraire sur le site . Propriétaire très réactive. Voiture obligatoire. Kit d’accueil agréable: bière, huile, vin, café etc Lave vaisselle et lave linge , pisciniste trois fois ds la semaine

An amazing week - we wish it was longer

From the moment we arrived we knew that everything we had seen and read about the villa was spot on and it was perfect. The views are amazing, the location is so serene and peaceful, Julia met us on the first day and made us feel at home (not planned - she was dropping off some beers for us). Everything was perfect, my wife and I have stayed at many villas over the last 10 years, all of them would get no more than an 8.5 out of 10, this one is a 10 if not an 11. We are looking to rebook for next year already. Thanks Julia, we hope to see you in 2025 Martin

Fantastic Holiday in Corfu

A wonderful villa and a great location for our two week holiday in Corfu. Very comfortable, with absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The pool is excellent - one of the best we have had and very clean and well maintained with the regular visits from the "pool man". Mid stay clean was very thorough. We received a beautiful welcome pack on our arrival and our host could not have been more helpful. No hesitation in recommending this villa .

Eine Villa, abgeschieden mit allem was man braucht.

Es ist echt Luxus, zu dritt eine Villa mit beheiztem Pool zu haben und weit und breit niemand, der einen stört. Zu jeder Tages und Nachtzeit in den Pool zu springen und sich abzukühlen, ist klasse. Ein Tischtennis Match zu spielen und direkt danach "Platsch"

Spacious Villa for four

We had a lovley time in the villa during our autumn holiday break. The house and especially the kitchen is equiped with everything you need and more. Julia welcomed us at the beginning and also afterwards she was quick and helpfull in responding to our questions.

Perfect summer retreat

Ideally located in a quite out of the way location, providing views over Corfu town and privacy, yet close enough to walk to Tavernas. The villa is well equipped with everything you need, providing a very comfy space to rest by the pool or explore the island. For the more adventurous there are lovely forest walks direct from the villa to the highest point overlooking Benitses., or you can also reach the radar station above Agii Deka. Follow the red and white signs, there’s plenty to follow. I’m sure we’ll be returning to Corfu and using Prestige Villas again. J&S Clitheroe UK 29/08-05/09 2019

Excellent from start to finish

Best villa I have ever rented. It's not just that the villa and setting are beautiful (although they are), but it was so well equipped, and most importantly it is obvious that the owner/manager understands that holidays are important to her clients and she does everything in her power to make it a wonderful stay. From not having to empty the fridge, to loads of cups and glasses, to allowing us to check out a bit later as our flight was later than I thought, to providing a fan, the whole thing was fab. The pool is lovely, the terraces and gardens gorgeous, the views amazing, just had a wonderful time! Thank you Julia

A Haven of Peace

My wife, daughter and I, had a very happy and peaceful 2 weeks in Villa Pascalia. We didn't intend gadding around much before our arrival and in the event, ended up doing even less! The villa and pool were a siren call for us to do very little, other than eat, drink and enjoy the pool, the warmest we have encountered over many years of villa holidays. Julia is a very approachable and helpful person, we had a minor snag with the water pressure, but it was fixed within hours. Moving onto the only contentious item highlighted in previous reviews, namely the feral cats. As one sensible person wrote earlier, cats are intelligent creatures and if you don't want them around they will soon get the message. Seeing that they are obviously fed by the locals anyone not liking cats around shouldn't feel guilty about not feeding, no matter the pleas do so from previous guests to do so. In summary, don't let warnings of cats put you off a wonderful place to stay.

Our Corfu holiday

Wonderful, comfortable, very well equipped , lovely surprise to find food and drink for us never expected that , pool was great , loved the cats , beautiful surroundings, the steep approach to the villa was bit tricky but we mastered it in the end. We would recommend your villa to all our friends and maybe come back ourselves hopefully x

Such a great place to stay on Corfu!

The past 11 days we spend in Villa Pascalia. What a beautiful home, we loved it so much! Everything was wright. Different places to sit at on diffifent times of the day. Beautiful view from the back terrace. We loved to have our breakfast there. Nice beds. Very practical kitchen. Two fridges. Beautiful garden. Nice pool to cool of during a hot day. Sweet mother-cat outside with two kittens. She was so sweet ansd thankful when we gave them breakfast in de morning and diner in the evening. There is a Proton supermarket near by, just a 5 minute drive with the car. There you can get everything! Including some food specialy for the cats. And so on and on....we just loved it! Thank you so much, Julia, for letting us stay in your home on Corfu.

Wonderful holiday home

Very clean and comfortable home, with perfectly maintained pool, Conveniently located, especially if you have a car. Great advice regarding local places to eat and visit. Would definitely want to return here for a longer holiday.

Nice villa with a great pool in a quiet private location.

Whilst our visit was cut short due to family illness we very much enjoyed our few days in the villa. The pool was fantastic and we enjoyed the relaxed feel of both the villa and the location. We also enjoyed the company of the cats and hope to return soon to complete our holiday.

Wunderbare Ferien!!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Villa Pascalia. Bei Ankunft war alles vorbereitet - das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die bequemen Betten. Wir besuchen Korfu schon seit vielen Jahren und haben dadurch schon einige Betten erlebt - diese sind mit Abstand bisher die besten gewesen. Man hat einen wunderbaren Weitblick und durch die Alleinlage ist es herrlich ruhig. Korfu-Stadt ist in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr gut. Vielen Dank!

home from home villa in a peaceful but convenient location

Great villa that makes you feel that you're in a home rather than a sterile rental property. Well equipped and lovely pool, although a little cool in October. Location was very private with good views but not too remote and easy walking distance to the local village. Shame the road to Benitses is currently closed making it a longer drive.

Wish we had booked for a month!

Everything other reviewers say is true - Villa Pascalia is a great place to stay. The pool is awesome; large, deep, clean, with lots of space around it and plenty of loungers, chairs and shade. Bats, cats and birds drank from it and entertained us. The villa is also comfortable and incredibly well provisioned inside - good sofas, TWO fridges!, lots of DVDs, books and games and little things like pool towels, torches and household products so you didn't have to buy or bring them - there was even a kagoule and a few sun hats! The kitchen has everything - I think it was the first time we have stayed in a Greek villa where the oven worked and there was even a zester in the drawer!! The beds were extremely comfy (very unusual for me to say that about a vacation bed) and the bedrooms have lots of storage. We had every intention of doing lots of stuff on Corfu but ended up staying at the villa as it was so lovely. However, its not far to Corfu town and beaches and is easy to find, with the village on the doorstep for some basics (they have a little store and a taverna) and Benitses just down the (steep but amazingly well lit at night) road. The kids fell in love with the cats and Julia sent us a postcard when Mummy cat had her kittens - fantastic service, very touched! Overall, its a corker of a place and Julia is fabulously helpful. Book it. I am envious of you already......

A delightful Home-from-home :)

We loved this villa because it was in a great location and also it was like we were house-sitting for friends, it was so well equipped. My partner was pleased with the wi-fi which held up pretty well through the Euros matches - I loved the fact that feeding the cats wasn't a dirty sin, there was actually a tub of cat food for them! We both liked the open plan living area and the fact that we didn't have to completely clear the fridge at the end which was a treat! We would happily recommend it for a relaxed family holiday :)

Perfect place to relax and unwind

This villa is fabulous. The facilities are as described and the owner Julia has catered for everything you could possibly need. She is an excellent host. It was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The garden and views are beautiful. We have had a relaxing stay and would recommend this villa to anyone. We chose not to hire a car so Julia arranged a taxi to take us to and from the airport and also did our shopping for us to be there on our arrival which made things stress free for us. First class customer service. We walked into Benitses on several occasions which was long but downhill. Wouldn't recommend the walk back so suggest a taxi or bus. The bus to Corfu Town and Benitses is near the villa opposite the taverna at the end of the lane. Recommend Mythos Taverna in Benitses, food was superb. The owner Spiros who also runs the supermarket was so friendly and helpful. In fact everyone we met was the same. Which is why we return to Corfu time and time again. The location of the villa is rural but there is a small bar in Gastouri run by Nikos. It's small and you feel like you're in his front room but mixing with the locals is what it's all about. We had many an evening in there but beware the steep lane home. Take a torch and don't let him give you too many shots!!! If you are thinking of booking this villa then don't hesitate, it's fabulous.

Amazing Holiday Villa

We are a family with two children, aged 6 and 9. We spent our summer holiday in Villa Pascalia and the Villa and everything else was just perfect. Set in a lovely quiet location among Olive and Cypress trees the views don't disappoint! The Villa itself is spacious and has everything you need and more. There are various outdoor spaces to enjoy as well as a really lovely pool! Julia is a most helpful owner and always quick to reply should you need anything. If you are looking to relax and explore the beautiful island of Corfu we all highly recommend Villa Pascalia as your base. There are various books/folders in the villa ,in which the owner recommends places to explore and eat in and all the ones we have tried have been lovely. We had the best time! Thanks

Excellent villa, great location, brilliant pool!

Julia was helpful throughout, although the villa is so well set up we needed very little. The villa is well stocked with bits and bobs you may need (or forgot!). Very clean, and all in good condition. Using the outside BBQ was really nice in the evenings. Great pool, well looked after and very clean. In there everyday! The location is great, secluded, brilliant views and very easy to get to from the airport. A short walk from the Achillion Palace, well worth a look. Nice taverna on the way to have a beer and some food in, had the best tzatziki we had all holiday. A simple drive into Corfu town and the supermarkets on route. Would come back here just for the villa.

Lovely Villa Pascalia

Another lovely relaxing holiday at this villa which is truly home from home as far as comfort and location is concerned. The pool is beautiful and it was great to swim before our barbecue. We spent many days relaxing by the pool and visitigtheexcellent tavernas and restaurants. We shall definitely come again.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Villa Pascalia is a very typical Corfiot village. It is really proud of the Achillion Palace and its lovely gardens and its rich history.
We wanted to build in a quiet peaceful area, that was "the real Corfu". Not a tourist resort full of noise and chaos in the summer.
However we did not want to be remote so with only a 10 min drive to Corfu town, ( or a bus ride) and just a five minute drive if we want a dip in the sea or to enjoy the beach side tavernas. The area of gastouri seemed and is perfect for our needs.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Over the years we have had a real mixture of guests. We have had writers and painters, and the more energetic cyclists walker and runners !
we have found that the villa has offered a great central base for those who want to explore, a very peaceful and private retreat for those who do not wish to move around and just want to recharge the batteries .
The families have loved the pool and gardens and the nearby beaches, the teenagers and young have enjoyed the evenings in the cosmopolitan Corfu town, which is full of history designer shops and fabulous bars and restaurants. All have enjoyed the short walk in the evening to the taverna or enjoying there own BBQ.
Corfu airport is just a 10 -15 min drive away, so the holiday begins as soon as you arrive.
