Apartment on Sands Beach

Having stayed in Costa Teguise a few times, I knew this apartment was in an area with good shops/bars/restaurants nearby, but relatively quiet for a relaxing time.The hotel complex that the apartment is situated on is very clean, hotel staff clean the communal areas and pools every day, this individual apartment is very clean and is well equipped.The hotel complex has 6 ‘Plaza’s’ each with their own pool, the complex is situated right on the sea front with a nice promenade which you can follow all the way into the main areas of Costa Teguise.The complex has its own shop/bar/restaurant though I never used the bar/restaurant as I have a couple of places that I like to visit when in Costa Teguise, The Black Bull, Popeye’s Sports Bar & Beijing Chinese Buffet, all on Av. de las Islas Canarias, and Paradise Sports Bar on Av. del Jablillo.Booking the apartment was nice and simple, I booked the apartment the day before I flew out to Lanzarote, the Check-In/Out process is very easy, as the owner leaves the key in a lock box, the owner has good communications.Ultimately, I would be looking for availability at this property the next time I’m in Costa Teguise!

schönes Apartment mit Terrasse direkt am Pool

sehr ruhig, wir waren sehr zufrieden, wenn wir Unterstützung brauchten war die Beauftragte des Eigentümers Paula, die nur einige Häuser entfernt in der Anlage wohnt, sehr schnell da, egal ob wir einen 2. Schlüssel, eine weitere Bettdecke oder irgendetwas anderes brauchten

Perfect Stay

Check In was easy. Communication with Owner prior to stay was excellent and property host in resort was as well. Both so helpful. Property location was a lovely walk into resort but also bars, restaurants nearby. Lots of little extras which helped like beach towels being provided, water in fridge on arrival etc. Loved our stay. Thank you.

Die Anlage war bei der Eröffnung 1986 bestimmt 4 Sterne wert, aktuell sieht man überall den Verschleiß. Der Kunstrasen am Pool ist abgetreten bis auf den Beton. Die Farbe im Pool blättert ab. Die Poolliegen sind durchgelegen und stellenweise eingerissen.Leider ist auch im Appartement die Zeit nicht stehengeblieben. Die Matratze im Bett ist durchgelegen. Die Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer gehört ebenfalls ausgewechselt. Der Einbauschrank im Schlafzimmer ist 4-türig, soweit ok. 1/4 ist mit einer Waschmaschine und einem Fach für die Putzfrau blockiert, ein weiteres Viertel ist mit Bügelbrett, Heizung und Staubsauger blockiert, man hat effektiv 1/2 Schrank zu Nutzung. Alle Fächer im oberen Teil sind mit irgendwelchem altem Krempel (Lampen, Bücher, Vasen, Farbeimer) vollgestellt. Der Safe ist mit 2 Holzschrauben an der Schrankrückwand "befestigt". Die Vermieterin, und auch die Reinigungskraft, sind immer freundlich und zuverläsdig und sehr schnell zu erreichen.

Good hoilday

We have stayed at sands beach before but a different apartment the only down side there was only a hob didnt really matter but would have been nice just to have the option if you wanted to stay in a odd night.Hammonds across the road do nice food and also takeaway, irish bailey is nice food not expensive there is a chinese buffet in the square we have had nice meals there unfortunately this time they was closed for staff hoildays, jack Daniel's is excellent to but gets very busy you have to go early in all there are nice and quite reasonable can't wait to go back.

Lovely retreat

Very well equipped apartment on a complex of privately owned and hotel owned apartments. Felt like we had the pool to ourselves most of the time as everyone seemed to be at the other pools. Beds super comfy. Great to have a washing machine with two young boys. Unfortunately only one restaurant was open on the complex which meant a walk out into town if we wanted to eat out. Even the bar and coffee house were closed and this was bank holiday week in august. Although a pain not a detriment to the apartment as we were able to make use of the cooking facilities. Would definitely stay here again.

Agréable appartement. Dommage que je n'avais pas reçu les informations pour récupérer les clés à l'arrivée, cela nous a mis le stress de ne pas pouvoir accéder à l'appartement avec notre enfant en bas age, nous n'avions pas le téléphone du propriétaire pour le contacter mais cela a été réglé via message mais en ayant perdu 1 heure en se demandant ou nous allions dormir. Concernant l'aménagement , nous n'avons pas compris pourquoi il y avait un grille pain avec branchement prise "US" alors que les prises de l'appartement sont NF Il manque pas mal de vaisselle, pas de poêle, peu de verres La propreté n'était pas au top (poussière, moutons dans les coins...) mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer un bon séjour. Je recommande cet appartement

Just wanted to say what a fabulous place Jean has , the accommodation was just as advertised .

One of the best accommodation we have stayed on at sands beach the place was well looked after , beautiful towels and the whole holiday was perfect . Sue the lady over there was at hand if needed and very helpful as was Jean who we booked the accommodation through . Will definitely be re booking in the future . Thanks again we had a great holiday .

Very smooth experience from start to finish.

Jeans place was perfect for us, we had everything we needed, a home from home. Thanks Jean. Sands resort is lovely, only downside is none of their pools are heated! And they charge for decent Wi-Fi both are essential if you have kids lol.

Sehr schön!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in dieser Unterkunft! Die Wohnung war für 2 Personen sehr geräumig mit 2 Waschbecken und extra Bidet! Wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten zum Glück gibt es auf den Terrassen seitliche Mauern, die für Privatsphäre und Windschutz (sehr wichtig!) sorgten. Die Anlage ist nicht mehr neu, aber doch sehr schön! Es gibt ca 6 Pools mit umliegenden Häusern. Auf einer vorgelagerten Insel befindet sich ein Restaurant und durch sie entsteht eine Lagune zum Sonnenbaden. Außerdem war der Vermieter immer erreichbar, hat sehr schnell auf E-Mails geantwortet und bei Problemlösungen geholfen.

Great location and lovely apartment

I had a great stay at this apartment. Having the pool right outside the door was perfect. The apartment had everything you could want including the pegs to hold your towels down when the wind whipped up 🙂 It was only a 10 min walk into town where there are lots of restaurants and bars.There is a supermarket within the compex and a larger one just down the road. I would definitely come back to stay here.

Great host, well equipped room!

We booked this room for a training week in Costa Teguise. Throughout the process Jean was great to deal with, answering any queries very promptly. Having water and milk in the fridge on arrival was also a welcomed gesture. The room was well equipped and comfortable. There was a TV, DVD, kettle, toaster, sandwich maker, coffee machine, lots of cutlery and crockery as well beach games and bags to carry your bits and peices to the beach. There was also lots of towels too! The fold down beds were easily stored. There were two of us staying for the week, one sleeping of in bedroom and one in the living area. This worked well. We were also able to take advantage of a late check out for €20 having asked Jean in the week, Sue, the local caretaker, came too leave the change of laundry for the new guest and came back after we had left. The facilities on site with the 25m pool, lots of places to run and brilliant cycling around the island made the Sands Beach an ideal place to stay. We will definitely look to use the room again! Thank you Jean!!

Fantastic!!

We stayed in the property mid November. The resort on a whole was spotless and so charming. We will definitely be back! Jean is a lovely woman and so accommodating and must also mention Sue, the house keeper who was great. Overall our stay was great. The pool is right outside the patio and the patio itself is nice and private. You couldn’t ask for more. We can’t wait to go back!!

Myself and my husband purchased the property in 2007 as an investment property and time permitted have a resting place for when we have the time to get away from work. Love the area as it is nice and relaxed holiday resort. Great restaurants, bars and pool area at our apartment doorstep within the resort. Also some lovely scenic drives when you want to get away from the resort.

Beach area also attached to resort for those hot days where we want to get away from the pool area. All restaurants, bars, pool area on complex where all facilities we may need on the break away is only mins walk from the door of apartment. Relaxing break with sun, beach, golf, water parks and holiday resort all within minutes of apartment.
The Aqua water park is open daily from 10 am until 6 pm.Windsurfing is a major past time in Costa Teguise.
There are windsurfing schools ,shops and equipment rental companies along the las Cucharas beach. beginners are more than welcome.
Costa Teguise is well served by public transport with Buses and Taxis being readily available.Like most purpose built resorts there is no shortage of shops and restaurants for most budgets and taste being catered fo
