Un apartamento familiar soleado y cálido en el octavo piso del edificio Le Varet, a 5 minutos de tiendas, restaurantes, oficina de pases de esquí y puntos de encuentro del ESF. Tiene vistas a las pistas y al complejo, parte del enorme dominio Paradiski. El Arc 2000 está conectado con la estación de trenes de Bourg St Maurice mediante un viaje en funicular de 7 minutos gratuito (con forfait) a la montaña y autobuses gratuitos que terminan a 150 metros del bloque de apartamentos. Bourg, a su vez, recibe el servicio del tren de nieve Eurostar desde London St Pancras y TGV y los trenes nocturnos de París. En la temporada de esquí hay servicios regulares de autobús desde el aeropuerto de Ginebra hasta el complejo. Los destinos económicos de vuelo / viaje en avión de Ginebra, Chambery, Lyon y Grenoble se encuentran a menos de 3 horas de distancia. En verano, los remontes están adaptados para transportar bicicletas hasta la montaña y el telesilla de Arcabulle, a 15 minutos a pie del apartamento, llega hasta el mismo borde del espectacular, espectacular e inmaculado Parque Nacional de la Vanoise, que ofrece encantadores paseos en medio de un magnífico paisaje.

    Cosy and well equiped

    The flat was very well equiped with everything you need to cook and clean for the week. The location was excellent for ski out and quiet in the evenings. We had a great stay for 2 people - only thing we forgot to check is that there is no freezer at the property so eat your pain au chocalats quickly!

    Pleasant stay

    It was a good week to be spent in Les Arcs. The only downside to this residence is that you have to walk 5 min in La Place Olimpique to drop kids off at school. But for adults it’s perfect from 8th floor you can go straight on the ski slope at the end of the corridor. The room has everything you need for a stay. Residence is quiet. I would choose it again iwhen kids will grow older. Very good communication with Rod the owner and thank you again for having us. To get the key is a bit tricky if you’re for the first time around, but Sylvie will get you around after all.

    Superbly equipped / Great skiing

    We have just had a fabulous weeks skiing. With a party of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) the apartment is compact but works really well for self catering, eating out, ski in/ski out and access to a great ski area. The flat had everything we needed for eating and entertainment. We got linen and an end of stay clean from Fuzia in resort which worked well. We drove and (as recommended) stocked up at Super U in Bourg St M. We brought films on iPad which we played via HDMI socket on the TV. The storage is excellent with plenty of wardrobe space and ski rack/boot storage. The kitchen is extremely well equipped - the dishwasher made self catering more of a holiday. We booked covered parking, ski pass and ski hire all in advance on-line with some savings and saving time in resort. The parking allowed us to take the car in and out during the week if needed. We chose the Arc ski pass with a one day explorer to La Plagne area. Some sites suggest it takes a long time to get across from 2000 - but we were over in an hour and a half. We found more than enough good skiing around 2000 which also meant being able to get back to the apartment for lunch. The ski in / ski out is challenging if the snow is starting to melt - but there is only a short walk (150m) to the drag lift or 250m to the central square. You can drive to the back door of the apartment block to drop off bags - but it gets busy at peak times and can get icy - maybe worth putting on snow socks/chains. We would recommend it for a great self catering holiday in Les Arcs 2000 and already planning to go again!

    Enjoyable stay

    A small but well laid out apartment. Nothing special, but it has all that you need and was excellent value for money. Ideal for two ppl, but 4 will be tight. Amazing views of the ski area from the balcony. The ski in/ski out isn’t quite as good as some of the other buildings within Arc 2000, but it’s still not bad and access is easy. A short drag lift is required to get you up to the main ski area. Good communication from owner and local agent, both very helpful. As is always the way in these kind of resort studios, you have to organise bed linen and towels separately. I personally hate this, but seems to the same across the French alps. Wi-Fi was good. Covered parking is available close by, while open air parking is immediately in front of the accommodation. Both are paid.

    Bienvenus à la montagne!

    L’appartement de Roderick est idéalement situé à Arc 2000 avec un accès direct aux pistes et au centre du village. Tout est à portée de main et il est même possible de garder son matériel de ski dans l’appartement qui est équipé en conséquence. Roderick a su garder l’ambiance chalet chaleureuse. L’appartement est très bien équipé et jouit d’une belle vue sur la montagne. Il était bien préparé pour mon arrivée et très propre. Roderick m’a bien aidé à organiser mon séjour et sa flexibilité m’a permis de gérer mon arrivée et mon départ sans stress. Merci pour ce séjour très agréable!

    Quiet and well equiped apartment Die Ferienwohnung ist ruhig und zentral gelegen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Anbindung zum Skigebiet kann für geübte Skifahrer direkt aus der Etage des Apartments erfolgen. Sie ist sehr sauber und gemütlich. Die Ausstattung an Küchengeräten ist sehr gut. Es ist genügend Stauraum vorhanden, auch für Skiausrüstung. Bei Rückfragen war der Vermieter sofort zu ereichen. Vielen Dank Rod! The apartment is located in a central and quiet position, shops can be reached easily on foot. Advanced skiers can come to the pists directly from the floor of the apartment. It is clean and cosy and the kitchen equipment is great. There is enough storage, also for ski equipment. It was no problem to contact the owner if necessary. Thank you Rod!

    What a fantastic trip!!!!

    The apartment was fab, stocked up for a stress free stay, with all the amenities. The view was breath taking and we were brave enough to ski out from the eight floor straight onto the slopes and up the mountain. The weather was perfect and the snow was amazing. We had three solid days of amazing skiing I would throughly recommend the resort and stay at Rod's. The food there was incredible and we wined and dined liked kings. I will definitely be booking again for next year. An absolute gem of a find and would seriously recommend.

    The flat was as described, ski in ski out was definitely possible. The kitchen was the best equipped we have stayed in, there wasn't a thing we could think of it needed extra. The beds were comfortable and the hot water endless. The owner (Rod) was extremely helpful and friendly and communicated promptly. The skiing in the area was excellent for all abilities. We would recommend taking the cabriolet lift down to 1950 (runs all evening) to do shopping at the 8 to huit and the patisserie (if you haven't a car). Booking the linen and towels needs to be done well in advance; and the concierge is in a different building, it is worth one person heading off to collect the key. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this flat.

    Tout était parfait !

    Magnifique séjour. Appartement au pied des pistes Et au calme. Immeuble très bien entretenu à 300m des commerces . L appartement est agréable et bien agencé , avec de nombreux rangements. Rien ne manque : grande quantité de vaisselle et d ustensiles de cuisine, appareil à raclette , TV... le balcon est appréciable avec vue sur la station. Et surtout Rod est adorable : très disponible et réactif pour répondre à mes interrogations. Toutes les explications pour rejoindre L appartement et réceptionner les clefs et les draps ont été très claires et détaillées dans un mail . J y retournerai sans hésitation.

    Très bon séjour

    L'appartement est très bien équipé et confortable. Il convient très bien pour une famille de 4 personnes. L'accès aux pistes se fait facilement. Le propriétaire est très facilement joignable et répond à toutes les questions. Pour ceux qui le souhaitent, le linge doit être réservé à l'avance (serviettes et draps). Je recommande vivement ce logement.

    Fantastically well equipped cosy apartment

    The best equipped apartment we have ever stayed at, in the perfect location. Located on the 8th floor with direct ski in and out of the ground floor or the 8th floor (if you're brave enough!). We had a week of clear blue skies and perfect skiing conditions. Either get to the Poma lift for 9am when it opens or wait until nearer 10am to avoid the ski school queues. We skied to around 4pm and then sat on the balcony with a cold beer catching the last of the afternoon sun. The perfect end to any day! The apartment itself is a true home from home which will leave you wanting for nothing. Everything you could possibly want is provided. A tip for any overnight Eurostar traveller - as the apartment isn't available until 3.30pm, leave your luggage at the tourist information (2 euro per case) which opens at 8.30am on a Saturday, get changed in the large toilet block below, get your skis and head off for the day. We were on the slopes by 10am enjoying an extra day's skiing.

    Superbe semaine, Top appart, Top organisation

    Nous sommes partis au ski en couple et avons passé une excellente semaine dans l'appartement de Rod. Il a tout fait pour que notre séjour se déroule sans accroc, à partir du moment où nous avons réservé jusqu'au remboursement de la caution en fin de séjour. Toutes les infos étaient claires et exactes. De plus, ayant eu la chance de séjourner dans d'autres appartements de la résidence, celui-ci est de loin le plus chaleureux dans lequel j'ai séjourné. La déco et l'agencement intérieur nous ont tout de suite plongé dans nos vacances! Et le départ et retour ski aux pieds c'est ... le pied! N'hésitez pas!

Arcs 2000 has recently benefited from millions of euros in investment, including provision of a Poma button-lift directly opposite the apartment, a new Pré Saint Esprit bubble chair with heated seats from the bottom of the Cascade run, and a new 5* Hotel offering top-class dining to non-residents.
