Molokai sweetness

We have rented this condo several times. We come back because the view is spectacular, and we love the ground floor unit. Molokai isn’t for everyone, but if you are looking for a relaxing low key vacation in a small town atmosphere, away from hoards of people and busy-ness of big cities, this is a great choice.

1st time visit to Molokai

If you are ready for rest and relaxation this is the spot. Car rental definitely needed if desire is to venture out. Otherwise if wanting to “vegg”, this is the spot. My aim is to return. Sooner than later. Aloha

Great Time!

The place is an excellent location. Right next to several beaches. You have access to a pool and hot tub just a few minutes walking distance and the grounds are kept in excellent condition. The unit is well equipped with any items you may need during your stay.

Molokai Magic

This vacation was everything we had hoped for...Molokai has changed little over the 30 years I have been blessed to visit its' people and their beautiful island. Thanks Rocky for sharing your lovely Ke Nani Kai home with us. It was full of simple Hawaiian elegance that meets your needs without being overdone, like the many resorts that have over run the other beautiful islands of Hawaii. We appreciated the comfortable accommodations and the lovely views from your home. Beautiful beaches all within a short walk, and the wild deer and turkeys are a reminder of the natural bounty of this amazing island untainted by tourism. Mahalo :-)

We love the location of this condo, the views and the quiet of the island. We have stayed several times and will be back again. Molokai is a special place for those who want to be away from crowds, and who enjoy a slower pace of life. It’s a step back in time. We have everything we need at this condo.

Quiet, clean, comfy slice of paradise on Moloka’i

This was a lovely unit with a nice view, was clean and well cared for and had incredible sunsets. The granite counter kitchen worked well with all the basic necessities. Bathroom as well was nice with granite counters, a tub/shower. Loved having the washer/dryer in the unit too. We loved eating out on the Lana’i. Bird song was so nice. As well as the occasional visit by the turkeys and peacocks. Lots of great walking trails nearby along the beaches. Saw lots of whales. The unit had good cable TV and wifi was ok though not secured that we could figure out. Used Ethernet cable and adapter for my iPad that we brought for more secure usage. The pool was nice as well as the hot tub. Also a lending library available. The grounds were beautifully maintained. We also learned to use the MEO (Mau’i Economic Opportunity) shuttle bus into Kaunakakai, which was a fun taste of local Hawai’i, though didn’t run on weekends. All in all we loved this unit and would come back again.

Condo is very comfortable and had everything we needed.

The bed is very comfortable. Shower is great. Kitchen had everything we needed with exception of a pizza pan and cutter. Wild turkeys roam the grounds. We enjoyed walking the grounds and the resort across the street.

Great location and view!

We had a great stay at Rocky's condo. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the view was great. The kitchen and bathroom are nicely updated. I knocked down one star only because some parts of the condo are starting to show their age (e.g., scrapes on some of the wood) and there was a bit of neighbor noise at times. None of that detracted from our enjoyment of the weekend, though. Overall we had a wonderful time and would stay here again!

We had a great time staying here at Ke Nani Kai. Rockys apartment is very spacious and nicely renovated. I loved the tile flooring and the bathroom. The kitchen has everything you need. There's also washer and dryer, they really have everything you need without needing to go to the store, and since Molokai everything closes early, you're pretty set with the things you need in the unit. We wanted to extend our stay and Rocky got back to me and was able to help me book a couple more nights. If you ever think about going to molokai and staying on the west side or thinking of staying at Ke nani Kai, I highly suggest this unit! It's on the bottom floor, corner unit, very spacious, awesome view especially in the morning and evening, large grassy area by your patio area, lots of free parking, it was just so awesome!!! Thanks again Rocky!!! I'm sure we will definitely be back again!!

One of the best locations in the Ke Nani Kai property.

We rented this unit for a month this year, having previously stayed in 2010. This is a well-maintained condo - no broken screens, etc., close to the parking (great when carrying groceries in) and a newer large screen tv for the nights you are not dining out. Hubby always enjoys chatting at the barbeque with other visitors as well as the swimming pool, which is a very generous size. I enjoy the parade of wild turkeys that wander the lawns and keeping an eye out for the few peacocks that are left. One of the best features is the view of the beach and ocean, and the beautiful sunsets.

Great, relaxing Molokai retreat

My fiancée and I stayed here for a week and had a great time. The condo is beautiful and very well appointed. It has everything you would want for your vacation. This was our first time renting a condo on vacation, and having access to a full size kitchen plus a washer and dryer was amazing. We ended up spending quite a bit of our vacation just being lazy in the condo. Home-made breakfast out on the lanai was one of my favorite parts of the day. We also enjoyed quite a few amazing sunsets from the comfort of the couch. We could not have asked for more. Okay, the one thing I wished they had was a dedicated wifi line. There is an Ethernet cord you can use for computers. There were a couple of unsecured wifi lines we were able to use, but we couldn't always connect and bandwidth was slow. It would have been great to have our own wifi. (I use an iPad, so the Ethernet cord was of no use to me.) However, that for sure won't keep me from returning. Love that little slice of heaven. You can't go wrong staying here.

FANTASTIC!

Rocky has gone out of his way to renovate this condo with the creme de la creme of everything, his taste for quality while keeping everything practical made our stay here absolutely superb! The view from the suite, combined with the privacy of the lanai makes for very nice extended stays here. We gave up our rental car as the free bus into town and to the airport provides all transportation we needed after visiting the tourist attractions. We will recommend to our friends as well as plan to return ourselves.
