Especially as we moved your booking from July 2020 to July 2021 at no extra cost to accommodate your family Covid issue. We held the 2020 price for you so rest assured, you got a bargain! Happy to do this and glad you were grateful. We followed the guidance on Covid measures from the Welsh Government - this meant that no towels or food were to be provided, as stated on the website and in an email. However there are 3 cafetiere's in the kitchen to make coffee. Happy you enjoyed the area - especially the vineyard in Hebron thanks for the tip!

Thank you for your 3 star review. We're glad you enjoyed the location of the house despite the weather being very mixed, with a lot of rain and your decision to leave the day before. I understand from my housekeeper, before you arrived, it had been a stressful time for you, as you thought you might have to cancel your holiday, as your dog was unwell, so we were pleased you were able to get to Cardigan. I contacted you on your 6th day - Thursday, to check all was going well, when you told me that the cleaning was not to your liking or standard. I apologised and sent my cleaner in, and would have done so earlier, if you'd raised it with me. We were mystified by the 'musty smell' we haven't had that feedback before. After the cleaner came in, you texted me to say that "two Joules Limited edition jumpers were missing from your bedroom" . I asked the cleaner about this, which caused a lot of distress. You told me that the cleanliness and "more seriously the mysterious disappearance of your jumpers" had ruined your holiday. However when you got home, you texted again, to apologise, to say you had found your jumpers in your luggage after all. For clarity, I have spoken to VRBO. On the listing box, I ticked 'clothes dryer' that I interpreted as a 'clothes horse' & also ticked washing machine. This translated as 'washer/dryer' on the listing. I have now corrected this misreading, to a Bosch washing machine. The 2 bathroom descriptions, are fully outlined on the listing. The bed description should read as a King size bed, not a Superking bed, apologies for this error & has been adjusted. The day after you arrived back home, I called and spoke to both you and your husband and the issue of compensation didn't arise. Wishing you both well.

Translation from German A small cozy house with a quiet garden. The landlady was super nice. She gave us tips for nice trips - the Mwnt beach is fantastic - and often inquired if everything was in order. On site is also a nice contact person. Cardigan is a nice little place with nice shops and good restaurants. We have many excursions in also in other places undertaken. Tenby was also beautiful. After a week the linens were changed and a "small" house cleaning done. Only small drawback were the mattresses in the lower bedroom, they should / could be renewed. Otherwise, everything was tastefully and cleanly furnished.

So glad you had a wonderful break and enjoyed the nature reserve. I'd like to add there is an excellent Wildlife Centre also with ongoing events for adults and children and a very good cafe, reasonably priced. You can also hire canoes and enjoy the gorge and wildlife on the river.
