First of all you should say that you were 1 couple +1 kid+1 guest so you have had 1 double bedroom for the couple, one double room for the one guest +1 single room for the little boy. You could have chosen the double room with ensuite bathroom on the second floor, but this seemed not suitable for an infant to stay alone on a different floor with a terrace all around not easy to supervise. That was the reason why the left out double room on the eves of the house was locked. If though as you say the owner shared the villa why didn'you ask her to unlock the room, take care of the ants in the kitchen, and how come that you have enjoyed so many bbqs if you were asked not to use it? Remember you were only told to extinguish the fire completely because of fire danger. quite normal with the heat. The staff had to clean all the mess left around the bbq anyway at your departure. And.in the fridge the few items were milk butter lots of drinking water, orange juice eggs ham cheese bread fruit what else would the owner should offer since nothing of all this is obligatory? And the handyman checking the electric board had to get in the house when he found too many appliances working at the same time and stopped the air conditioning working when nobody was in. Also the owner came in in fact when nobody was in the garden to water the flower pots as for all the other plants there is an automatic system. As for the cats they are not the house pets but visitor cats which have been spoiled and welcome by many previous guests, which indeed makes it harder for the staff to maintain the garden furniture spotless. Not easy to explain to a cat not to be around I think.. I very much regret that for things simple to fix on the spot, the guests had to be so disapointed by a villa which has so nice reviews in general .and the owner is so eager to please the guests. Really sorry.

Dear family, I have just noticed your kind review in the OWNERS DIRECT site. This is probably because there has been a gap in publishing the villa Katia description in their Corfu pages.
