Este es un lujoso apartamento de 3 dormitorios en el 4 ° piso totalmente amueblado, decorado al más alto nivel, totalmente equipado y con un gran balcón en forma de L (atrapa el sol la mayor parte del día) con mesa, sillas y tumbonas. . Gran salón con TV, reproductor Bluray y WIFI GRATUITO. Refrigeración y calefacción con aire acondicionado y control remoto completo. Las ventanas tienen doble acristalamiento con persianas opacas eléctricas (útil cuando se descansa durante la parte más calurosa del día). Ubicado en una posición privilegiada de Olhao, a pocos pasos de las instalaciones del hotel 5 * ~ Real Marina. Tome el ferry del hotel o un taxi privado a la Reserva Natural de Ria Formosa, donde las islas de Armona, Culatra y Farol ofrecen extensas playas de arena despejada con restaurantes y bares de calidad. Ferry principal a las islas también a pocos pasos de distancia. La ciudad cuenta con una floreciente flota pesquera que admite los menús extremadamente variados que se encuentran en sus numerosos bares y restaurantes. Short autumn break in Olhao

Located in one of ten new apartments blocks, nice apartment with large terrace, fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, three bedrooms, which was very comfortable for us as we traveled just two couples. Effectively working air con, the water pressure in the shower could be higher. Check in with local property manager Maria went smoothly, she was very helpful. Nearby many of restaurants with very tasty sea food. There is no beach for swimming, you have to go by car or by boat taxi, we tried bicycle. All in all, it was perfect stay. Nice part of eastern coast. Thanks!

Fantastic property and fantastic location

Everything about this booking was perfect from the start. Great communications with Mary, advice on arranging airport transfers and great contact with Maria on site in Olhao. The apartment is fabulous, ideal for 7 adults, with plenty of space and all the facilities you can possibly need. The balcony and views were amazing and we really enjoyed the gas BBQ which we used many times. Thoughtful additions such as the trollies, beach towels and beach umbrella made life much easier. The roof terrace was lovely to stretch out and relax and the pool, though small, was perfect for a quick cool down. The marina village has nice bars and restaurants and we enjoyed Mo'hs irish bar for the live music and football. Location is a short stroll to the main town which was lovely to explore. Many small back streets and we particularly liked the umbrella lined alleyways. Restaurants and bars were all of a high standard and the fish out of this world. The local fish and fruit markets are fabulous and we loved the sardines and tuna steaks which were perfect for the BBQ. The ferry to the islands was easy to find and we particularly liked Armona. You must take the long walk to the far side of the island (about 20 mins) where the beaches are fabulous and the sea a tad warmer. Nice bars provided a welcome beer before the trek back to the ferry. We had not been to Portugal before but will be definitely be back again. Have already bored many friends and family with our stories and numerous photos! Thank you for the use of your apartment and for a wonderful holiday.

Fantástico alojamento!

Local aprazível, numa zona muito calma, com vista para o mar, mercado e vários hipermercados, rerstaurantes, etc. Um alojamento fantástico para uma família grande ou grupo de amigos, com piscina na cobertura, uma varanda ótima, uma sala enorme e com tudo o que é necessário. Muito, mesmo muito bom!

This was the second year we have stayed in a Marina Village apartment. The apartments are all finished to a high standard with quality fixtures and fittings and the owners had furnished and decorated this apartment tastefully with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The elevator access to all floor was invaluable to us and parking was available right outside to block. We thoroughly enjoyed the spaciousness of the apartment and its proximity to the local amenities.

First Class Apartment and Location.

The Apartment had excellent furnishings and service facilities which provided an ambience of a home rather than your usual tourist accommodation. Located within a modern setting and reasonably close to the old town, public transport, also restaurants and shopping. The Apartment and it's wraparound balcony provided views of the ria Formosa and beautiful sunset skies. This Apartment and it's location exceeded both our expectations.

My husband and myself stayed at this superb apartment over Christmas for the second time .It is everything you need for a fantastic stay in Olhao Spotless Fully equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday with all fittings of high quality (full xmas dinner cooked no problem and dishes straight into the dishwasher) Location is ideal for the town and supermarkets with shopping trollies provided The owner is a dream to deal with and everything went to plan and was straight forward The apartment gets the sun all day .There is a gas BQ table and chairs plus sun loungers on the wrap around balcony plus pool on the roof Cannot recommend this apartment enough so much so we have booked for the 3rd Christmas

A large modern well-equipped apartment in a delightful traditional Algarve town

The apartment was fully equipped with all that's needed for a holiday. Maria the local representative welcomed us on arrival, and was on the end of a phone to deal with any queries or problems. We found it perfectly clean, with a full complement of linen and towels (including beach). The fourth floor location gave good views, excellent lifts making access easy. The apartment lies 15 — 20 minutes walk from the town centre. Olhao with its myriad of narrow paved alleys is great to explore. There's great choice of restaurants mostly offering interesting fish dishes. We made these expeditions: • Ferry to Armona for fine swimming and snorkelling (lots of little fish to see). • Train to Faro — lots to see in old town • Train to Tavira — beautiful old town with lots to see and excellent cuisine. • local bus to nature park — followed the interesting trail on the may issued at the park reception.

Clean, and in a great location

Fourth visit to this apartment. Always a pleasure to arrive and relax into the rhythms of the city of Olhao. The apartment is clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Dozens of great restaurants in easy walking distance. We hired a car, but it isn't a necessity as there are supermarkets and shops in the town centre and also a train station linking you to Faro and beyond. I'm sure I will be returning next autumn if not before.

Perfect location

The appartment was great. Same as the picture and more! It is calm and cozy. Very well located! You can take your coffee outside in the Morning with a beautiful view on the sea (Rio Formosa) and have lunch also at night and the view wont be the same. We will come back for sure!

1st visit to Olhao

We stayed for a week in Chris and Mary's excellent apartment. First class facilities with Maria on hand to sort out any questions. Only short a walk to the water taxis, the town and a plethora of good, low priced restaurants. We found the people in Olhao to be friendly and helpful. The pool on the roof was really welcome for a cooling dip. We enjoyed the trips to the island beaches - really thoughtful for Mary to provide a trolley, beach umbrella and beach towels.

Fantastic apartment in great location

We just love this place. Back for our 4th year it has everything we need for a relaxing family holiday. This modern spacious apartment is very clean, well maintained and equipped with everything you would need for a family stay. There are an abundance of fabulous restaurants within an easy stroll and lots to do in the surrounding area. We always find something new to do. This year our boys enjoyed watching the local football team in a league match in the stadium behind the apartments. Mary is also a joy to deal with and always makes the booking process seem effortless. Her excellent customer service is definitely part of the appeal for returning here year after year. Looking forward to our next visit already

Just love this apartment

Just love this apartment Booking could not be easier - Mary is a pleasure to correspond with and always happy to help. Maria, the property manager greeted us as the property on our arrival A bright and spacious apartment and well equipped– I must say the shopping trolleys came in very handy together with the beach towels (saves your luggage allowance for other items) Bedding and towels were changed mid-way through our stay at the same time as the whole apartment being cleaned throughout. It is in a fabulous location close to the restaurants bars and supermarkets and only a 10 to 15 minute walk from the local train and bus station so you don’t really need a car. The ferry to the beaches is just 10 minutes’ stroll down the water front – a lovely day out it is like being on a Caribbean island; Boat tours and sightseeing can be arranged – as there are booths on the marina walkway the nice thing is that the sales people are not pushy if you say no thank you that is fine. I would recommend the Wine tasting with Tapas operated by Love Tuk great experience and good value for money We have visited Olhão many times and this was our second stay in Mary’s apartment and it will not be our last only wish we had more holidays - Olhão is lovely and there is no better place to base yourselves than here.

Pictures don't do it justice

We had an amazing holiday in this apartment. The Location was excellent & although we hired a car, wouldn't have needed to as the fresh food markets, shops & island ferries were all within easy walking distance. Lift to apartment. Had the rooftop swimming pool to ourselves which was safe for our 6 year old & she loved. Had no problems at all with contacting the manager & meeting her on our arrival. Also the bbq ran out of gas while we were there & she arranged to replace. We found Mary really communicative & helpful when we needed to rearrange our dates slightly & also very helpful with our flight times with access to property & bag storage when needed. Property was clean & views outstanding. Pictures although good don't do this apartment justice. It felt much bigger than we expected when we arrived. Just be aware that the binmen seem to collect the rubbish around midnight or after each night. Not a problem if you are out til late anyway. - Good that it's collected regularly though in that heat. Loved Armona island for a visit. We didn't feel the private boat trips were worth it when you could get a ferry across for a few euros & spend as much time as we wanted on the islands. We ate in the middle of Armona island. Sardines & fresh fish cooked right in front of you on the bbq! Well recommended. Ideal apartment for a family/grandparents staying together. All double bedrooms & enough bathrooms for everyone. Loved the shutters in the bedrooms. Kept the sunlight out in the morning. Felt very safe when we were there as the apartments are all locked rather than have open access to everyone & communal areas & swimming pool kept really clean & maintained well. Would highly recommend. A very easy experience & lovely holiday. Thankyou Mary.

Fantastic !

Really enjoyed our stay in the Apartment, really clean and spacious for the 5 of us. Its the little things that make you appreciate your stay: The beach towels Salt & Pepper, etc, etc. The shopping trolleys were a god send, when going to Lidl for a shop for 5 people. Would definitely book this apartment again, Mary is very responsive to all emails. Thankyou Mary!

c'est vrai que l'appartement est neuf, il n'y manque rien au niveau des prestations sauf un parasol sur la terrasse peut-être. Le sol n'avait pas été nettoyé et nous avons marché pieds nus le premier jour, résultat pieds noirs en 5 minutes! La piscine sur le toît est bien mais l'environnement de ces grands bâtiments est nul! Heureusement qu'ils ont été bâtis à l'entrée de la ville parce que ça dénature complètement le paysage. Même si l'appartement est très beau je n'y reviendrai pas. D'autres logements, moins chers et aussi bien sont dispo en centre ville (super agréable).

Fantastic apartment and location

Apartment is wonderfully fitted out and so quiet and private. The large balcony is wonderful for dining in and if dining out you are spoilt for choice with many wonderful restaurants. We would not hesitate in recommending this as a base for a holiday.

AMAZING

Having stayed in the Marina Village for the last 4 years I can say that this is the best apartment we have come across .Sun all day ,amazing views ,everything you could possibly need for a fantastic holiday is within the apartment .Roof Top swimming pool also .The owner is a pleasure to deal with andcredponded to all enquiries promptly .Met by the property manager who took her time to show us all we needed to know about the apt .Manager always at the end of the phone if needed .We had an amazing Christmas and 2 month stay .Dont hesitate to book this you won’t be disappointed .

Excellent séjour dans un appartement très agréable

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce séjour dans l'appartement de Maria : il est très vaste, récent, confortable, aux prestations grand standing et d'une propreté irréprochable ; la vue sur la lagune depuis la belle terrasse est magnifique avec de superbes couchers de soleil. Pour finir, l'accueil de Maria est chaleureux, de même que la préparation du séjour avec Marie qui fait tout pour faciliter votre séjour. Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour à Olhao qui est une ville typique avec des habitants très accueillants !

Another great stay

Having first visited in May, I was very keen to get back to Mary’s apartment for a last blast of Autumn sunshine. The favourable rate we received for booking via Mary meant we were able to stretch the holiday to two full weeks. I again found the apartment spotlessly clean and tidy, and Maria was there to greet us upon arrival. Bedding and towelling were changed mid-way through our stay at the same time as the whole apartment being cleaned throughout. Since May the rooftop area has been refurbished, and, unless I’m misremembering, a couple more appliances have appeared in the kitchen (including a Dolce Gusto machine). It is easy to have a very reasonably-priced trip given the abundance of fantastic, cheap restaurants in the city that help to make Olhão such a good-value destination. I am therefore delighted to have found such well-appointed accommodation I can feel so comfortable in within my usual budget. I wish I was back there now, and I certainly hope it isn’t too long until I’m requesting to book this apartment again!

We live on the edge of London and first holidayed in the Algarve in 1981 but didn't visit Eastern Algarve until 2007. We are delighted to have discovered this areas and that we decided to invest. We enjoy all that Olhao has to offer, plenty of fresh food especially fish and vegetables; lovely restaurants at every turn, cafes and bars and their relaxing atmosphere. Marina cafes for sundowners are very popular and welcoming. Excellent beaches which are beautiful and relatively empty and stretch for miles. The islands are easily accessible and offer some lovely restaurants for long tranquil lunches stretching into the afternoon which are something we enjoy.

We appreciate Olhao because of the fantastic facilities in the area. There are some beautiful beaches and the marina boasts a great range of bars and restaurants. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with Faro airport less than an 20 minutes drive away. Eastern Algarve still retains the traditional Portuguese feel and charm. Eating out is very reasonably priced and represents excellent value for money for a good night out. The locals are very friendly and welcoming. The beaches on the islands make a refreshing change from over-crowded beaches elsewhere. On the doorstep is the countryside which is mountainous and beautiful and offering many excellent restaurants etc. Excellent cycling route and nature reserves to explore.

Olhao and Marina Village in particular is a very convenient location, close to the airport which makes short trips to Portugal very attractive, proximity to the 5* spa hotel for treatments etc. is another bonus.
