Espléndida residencia de planta baja a 200 metros (2 minutos a pie) de la playa de Mondello, rodeada de un gran jardín. PLAYA EQUIPADA A 250 METROS.
La zona de descanso se compone de 5 habitaciones equipadas con aire acondicionado frío/calor de las cuales 3 son dobles y 2 dobles con camas individuales, con posibilidad de 3 camas supletorias para un total de 13 camas. Posibilidad de añadir otras 2 camas para niños. Hay 2 baños completos con duchas en la zona de dormitorios. Tres habitaciones dan a cómodas terrazas amuebladas y dos al jardín interior.
La zona de estar consta de un amplio y luminoso salón que da a la gran terraza amueblada que conduce al jardín; el salón está equipado con una chimenea, TV de 55 pulgadas por satélite, sistema Wi-Fi y está conectado con el comedor y un encantador salón central.
La zona de estar se completa con la cocina, situada en una habitación del sótano, que está totalmente equipada, con una placa de 5 fuegos y un horno de 90 cm.
Jardín mediterráneo bien cuidado de aprox. 1000 m2 con cenador, zona de estar y comedor con sofás y una cocina totalmente equipada con fogones, barbacoa y nevera. Baño/lavadero. This was the perfect place for my family of 13! The villa and property is huge and stunning. Walk to the beach, food and lido close by. Outside patio was great for late evening hanging out. Ornella and Eliana were super helpful, and Alessandra welcomed us. Highly recommend!!!

The house is beautiful and comfortable. Easy access to beach, good restaurants and bakery and bus into Palermo. We'd definitely stay there again. We were a group of 8 adults. The host was responsive, helpful and nice.

Truly a mansion!

Our group was quite comfortable in the beautiful home. Our gracious hostess met us at the house and went over all of the amazing features. The location was perfect and allowed us to walk to wonderful restaurants. The kitchen was very well supplied and we did some cooking too. We were so happy with our choice to stay in Mondello rather than busy and crowded Palermo. I highly recommend this place!

What a beautiful house in a perfect location of Mondello Beach. Plenty of space for our family. Everything in the house is treated with love and care. A dream’s liberty villa

Beautiful Home in a great location!

And amazing home with plenty of space to entertain or relax. House was fully equipped with everything you need possible. There was a bus stop right near the house to hop on to get you to Palermo in 15 minutes. It was perfect. The owner is greeted us with information and gave us a taxi drivers name that took us places throughout our stay. Would highly recommend this home.

Simply amazing!

Our stay at Ornella's place was everything we hoped. It is a beautiful home with plenty of space for our group of 10 people. It is walkable to restaurants and the beach. We would definitely recommend it and stay again. Some highlights were Ornella's willingness to answer many questions before our arrival. She gave us contacts for drivers and helpful tips that we really appreciated. The home was also very clean. Everyone in our group noted how clean it was for being a historic home, so we wanted to give compliments to the cleaning crew. Thank you again for letting us stay!

Summer stay in Sicily

Eight of us stayed at this property for a week. It is really lovely- nicer than it looks in pictures. Pretty grounds and the antiques and furniture were wonderful. The neighborhood is also very nice. The house definitely had everything we needed. We did not rent a car but the taxi stand down the block was convenient for going into Palermo, etc. We did not love the sand beach to the left when facing the water, but we greatly enjoyed the rock beach and area to the right. Took a few day trips and also went out on a boat for the day to Capo Gallo, which was beautiful.

The Villa is an architectural beauty with a private yard and citrus orchard. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful with a very short walk to the beach and delicious restaurants!! Elegant Villa

We were 2 families traveling together - ages 15-84. This villa is strikingly beautiful, with very large rooms and tall ceilings. The bedrooms are all very comfortable and the kitchen is well-stocked. The outside areas are really nice as well. Ornella greeted us upon arrival to show us around the house - and she was very responsive throughout the booking process. We walked to the beach and local restaurants from the house. When we went into Palermo, there was a taxi stand just down the road. Airport only 20 minutes by taxi. We also hired Giovanna for a day to take us to an ancestral village. She was a wonderful and informative tour guide. We would definitely stay at this villa again.

A great family gathering

We are a family from New York and we vacationed with a family from Italy, we stayed together in Mondello (Palermo) at this house. We had a wonderful visit and the house was perfect for us. Plenty of space, both indoor and outdoor, with very close walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. Sirenetta was our go to for pizza, fine dining and they had an awesome piano bar on the roof! The owners were very inviting, they communicated quickly and were always there if needed. We like to cook many of our meals at home and their kitchen was set up with everything - better than any other kitchen in any house we have rented. No house is perfect but its how the owner deals with issues if they arise that makes the difference and they were terrific! Thank you for a wonderful visit - Ciao!

Lovely property but the advert is very misleading as this property is the ground floor of a house.

The top floor of this house is an apartment where an Italian family live. Your advert implied that it was the whole house! This was misleading! We wanted the privacy of a whole property. That said, the property is a beautiful 'horizontal' property with bedtooms and living space on the ground floor. It is advertised in a misleading way Please Respond.

Dear Jan, I am not sure if this message is intended for the public review or it was again intended for VRBO, but for the sake of clarity I will reply again here. As I already explained to you, there was a discrepancy between our original ad (in italian) on VRBO Italy and the way it is adapted and translated on VRBO UK. In fact, our ad states that the property is located at the ground floor of a historical villa and that is entirely independent from the upper floor by having its own garden and entrance. While this is very clear in our original ad, it was partially lost in the English adaptation, which we never realized as none of our previous guest has ever made any complaints about privacy nor the property layout. However, as you already agreed with me, everything that is shown in the pictures (including the outdoor areas) is at the unique and private disposal of our guests. Besides that, I already apologized to you for the inconvenience and we have taken care, together with our VRBO responsible, to correct the English version of the ad. Home Away from Home❣️

Beautiful house and property on a lovely tree-lined street only a block from the pristine beach and some delicious restaurants. The house is spacious and the garden is lush with gorgeous views of the mountains and the lovely orchard. We always had a hot shower! The kitchen has everything a family could need and our lovely host left us some groceries to get us through until we found the grocery store. Ornella is so very thoughtful and welcoming❣️ She had a gift waiting from my ancestral home in Sicily🎁💝Her son, Antonio was our driver and tour guide extraordinaire. He is bilingual and helped immensely by making our outings seamless and stress-free. Come to Mondello for the sea, the great food and sights…. But you will return because of the people and hospitality. This was my second stay in this lovely property. Grazie💜🤩

Beautiful Property

We were a group of 13 (4 separate families - 8 adults, 5 children). We found that this property had just enough space for all of us. The house and grounds are spectacular. We all commented that it was lucky that we had a group of well behaved children since there are many antiques and valuable collectibles on the property and many things could easily be broken. It felt a bit like a museum. We liked the proximity to the beach. Mondello beach is beautiful and we were able to get chairs each day. We often took advantage of the discount mid day price. On days we were not at the beach, we felt the location was lacking. It was an expensive taxi ride to Palermo Proper and the bus is...well, the bus. It works, is inexpensive, but you have to figure out the system and be willing to ride crowded buses. There are places to walk around the beach front area but not too much for the kids to do if we were not at the beach.

What a great property!

I can't say enough good things about this booking. The house itself is great - we were three couples with three children and the home had spacious, comfortable bedrooms for everyone. Several living spaces both indoors and outdoors so everyone was happy. The ping pong table in the garden was a hit with adults and children alike. The many fruit trees were exciting for everyone to experience. The garden has three separate areas for sitting and/or dining so you can chase the sun or the shade - whichever you prefer. The outdoor kitchen setup was amazing! Of course, the indoor kitchen was great too. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the bathrooms and air conditioning in the bedrooms, although we did not need that when we stayed at the end of October. There are no negatives about this property. At the end of October the beaches were quiet as most of the tourists were gone, same with the many restaurants. The sea was warm enough to swim and crystal clear. We walked everywhere, less than a mile to the furthest restaurant on Mondello or less than a 5 minute walk to the closest restaurant. Our host was so kind and responded very quickly to any questions we had, about the area or the house. I highly recommend this lovely property.

Nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis chez nous dans cette somptueuse villa entièrement rénovée avec ses meubles et sa décoration d'époque. Beaucoup d'espace, donc idéale pour une grande famille. Très bien équipée, notamment la cuisine. Nous avons demandé 2 chaises hautes qui nous ont été fournies. L'accueil en français a été très agréable avec une propriétaire très arrangeante. La villa est situé à 100 m d'une plage magnifique et 50 m d'un restaurant glacier traiteur qui vend des choses délicieuses. Le seul petit bémol est la proximité du boulevard générateur de bruit mais il y a d'excellents double-vitrages.

At home

What a wonderful stay we had! A reunion of the family (8 adults) in Mondello. We enjoyed it and felt so much at home in this beautiful house. Totally in style. Very nice living room to sit at the end of the day. Three decks to choose from. And fresh orange juice in the morning picked from your own trees. Close to /walking distance to local stores and restaurants and the beach. And even Palermo within half an hour by car. Bus would be possible to if you don’t feel like driving. Despite the low season there was enough to do. And the great weather was a bonus!

Beautiful house

The house is pretty spectacular with painted 12 foot ceilings and lovely furnishings. Mondello is nice and pretty quiet, although I would imagine it's much busier during peak season. You can get to the airport and out into the countryside with out going through the busiest parts of Palermo. Easy bus service to downtown Palermo. Owner's nephew handles communication and is very quick to respond, speaks perfect English, and is most accomdating.
