The Getaway es una cabaña recientemente remodelada con 2 dormitorios (el dormitorio principal tiene una cama king size; el segundo dormitorio tiene 2 camas gemelas) y 1 baño (ducha) ubicado en el acogedor pueblo de Navidad ubicado a solo unas millas al oeste de Munising.

La Getaway Cabin tiene un televisor de pantalla plana con cable, VCR / DVD con películas variadas para que los huéspedes disfruten. Juegos surtidos y rompecabezas están disponibles también. El tema de decoración presenta imágenes y mapas de Munising y Lake Superior que representan la interesante historia de la zona.

La cocina de tamaño completo tiene todos los nuevos dispositivos y está totalmente equipada con todos los utensilios para comer y utensilios de cocina. Hay un gran patio trasero con una mesa de picnic, una parrilla de gas para cocinar al aire libre y un fogón para los fuegos de su campamento nocturno. Very nice and quiet stay. The area is beautiful and the kitchen had everything we needed. The only con was it was a bit too cold in the cabin. The blankets provided weren't heavy enough to deal with how cold it got at night. Other than that we would definitely recommend staying here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean, cozy, well-maintained little cabin. It is only a 15 minute drive from Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, where we spent a few days blissfully hiking, and we were so glad to come home to the cabin in the evening. Since we like to do our own cooking, we were pleased that the kitchen was so well-supplied. We appreciated the gas grill in the backyard also (and would have used the yard more if it had been warmer!). Karen is a friendly hostess who was very communicative about the cabin and the check-in process. She even surprised us with an anniversary gift upon check-in. I would definitely stay here again. The personal touch makes a lot of difference.

What could be better than a cabin a block from the beach? Perfect place to stay. Easy access to Munising and points beyond. Quiet neighborhood. Everything we needed was available. Communication with owner could not have been better. Our pups were very content. They enjoyed running free in the yard. Clean, lovely, everything to cook. We hope to return very soon.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cabin. Family friendly for us bringing a small child and quiet even with a restaurant nearby. Very short walk to Lake Superior beach with tons of cool rocks to check out. Our host was very nice and made us feel very welcome. I didn’t get any cabin photos to share, but do have a nice one of our kiddo playing in the water at the Lake Superior beach that is close by.

The cabin was perfect, quiet good location close to the lake I walk to the lake with my dog every morning and evening. The backyard was great we had barbeque every night also used the firepit. The boat tour were great only 4 to 5 minute away. Very relaxing vacation would go back again.

Second time staying...and will be back for a 3rd! Awesome location a block from Lake Superior. The bed is more comfortable than my own. Clean house and yard. Not far from activities, Foggys has great steak, and you just may win some money at the Christmas Casino. If you like hiking Chapel Rock is a great place to go and so many photo opportunities. On the way back stop at The Bear Trap. They have awesome wings and AMAZING cheese curds (and we are from WI). Waterfalling was great time as well!!!

This was the perfect home away from home! We spent the daytime adventuring nearby attractions like the Glass Bottom Boat, Pictured Rock Cruise, Sandy Point Beach, and so much more. Nights at the cabin were peaceful with all the ammenities needed to prepare dinner on the grill, over the campfire or in the kitchen. The beds were comfy for a good night rest. Looking forward to coming back again!

Fantastic

Very close to all the Pictured Rocks attractions, waterfalls and beaches. The house was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our dogs loved the fenced in backyard. The on-site campfire wood for sale was very convenient. Karen really went above and beyond to make my birthday getaway great.

Cozy, convenient, and clean

We really enjoyed our stay. The host was really kind, communicative and thoughtful. She thought of everything and we appreciated having all of the conveniences already available in the cabin. It made packing less stressful. The location was perfect for many waterfalls/ hiking trails, rock hunting, and pictured rocks. We were able to do all of the activities we were interested in doing in the area. We found a great fresh fish market and grilled delicious lake trout. We also discovered a cool sculpture park (Lakenland) and highly recommend it. The backyard was private and quiet. We were happy to hang out and grill in the backyard while our standard poodle had a safe outdoor space to relax in.

Amazing Cabin tucked away right next to the lake.

I couldnt speak more highly about this place. Karen was wonderful and so was the property. The area was beautiful and had tons of things to keep us busy. The fenced in back yard was the cherry on top. Our dog LOVED it. We plan on revisiting next year.

Great Place!

Great location and house was super clean! Our dogs loved having a fenced in yard, and there was a campground nearby with great walking paths and beach access.
