Quiet location

Lovely quiet location. Plenty of beautiful walks and very close to the Gap of Dunloe. Property has ample space for two families and beds are very comfortable.

Family trip

We had a lovely stay in this accommodation. It was clean, spacious and had all the necessary utilities. It is located in a very quiet and beautiful region and yet close to a lot of touristic attractions.

Beaufort Area Stay

This property was clean, comfortable and spacious. Suitable for families with 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, large kitchen and patio. The hosts were terrific, meeting us at the property, explaining all the details of the home. Great location to explore this part of the country with Killarney 15-20 minutes away, beach/coastal areas within an hour. Would definitely rent this property again!

Lovely place

This made the perfect home base for our family adventures in and around Kerry, with three kids it really makes a difference to have some space to spread out and the kitchen saves a lot of money vs eating at restaurants every night! The owners were communicative, personable and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Lovely time in Kerry

Lovely house in good location for Kerry outings. Quiet and peaceful. Hosts very helpful and pleasant. Enjoyed our family reunion as ideal for children with large garden and plenty of indoor space. Kitchen well equipped.

Tolles großes Haus mit super Garten

The House is very spaceful and the garden is great. Specially for the children. We found all what we need and we enjoyed the two weeks very much. There are enough towels for everybody and you have the possibilty to wash them in the house. The owners are very nice and helpful!

Very secluded

We overall had a nice stay. The host was communicative, kind, and the checkout process was a breeze. However if you are looking for a place to stay that has access walking or public transportation to restaurants, pubs, or other attractions this is not the place. There is nothing within walking distance. The Explore the Area section of the listing is for the broad general area, none of the recommended places within walking distance apply to the actual location of the house. You will need to rent a vehicle or you will be paying minimum 30-45 each way to Killarney.

A slice of Irish country life.

We stayed here from 8/12 - 8/16/18. This house is a lovely, spacious, elegant and well-maintained house. The Kellihers were gracious and helpful. The house is in a rural area, 20 minutes out of Killarney, which was part of its charm. It felt like we were actually living in Ireland, rather than in the busy downtown area. My two sons and I stayed here, but the house could easily have accommodated more people. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you to the Kellihers for a truly unique and memorable experience.

Beautiful house in rural Kerry

This is a beautiful four bedroom house in rural Kerry just outside Killgorglin. We had expected it to be in Beaufort village but it is about 5km to the west. The pictures show the house as it is and there was nothing to fault with the house at all. The owners met us at the local pub and guided us to the property and explained everything we need to know. Great TV and Wifi. Great location for touring Kerry and Cork. Try Quinlans and Bianconi in Killgorglin for dinner - great alternative to the chaos in Killarney. If you are a golfer - Beaufort Golf Club is a hidden gem.

Dream to “live” in Ireland for 6 weeks

I had always wanted to “live” in the South West of Ireland. To unpack, and take daily adventures from that location. This was a perfect location to fulfill that. It was in between Killarney and Killorglin. Owners Brid and Edward met us and showed us how things worked. They checked in with us occasionally, and were quick to answer any questions that we had. It is very quiet, and in the beginning, I questioned what I done. However, when we realized that, once you leave ANY of the cities, you do get into the narrow, windy roads. The decision one needs to make, is, do you want to stay right in the city where there is traffic, tourists, and quite busy, or to you want stay a little out and have peace, quiet, and able to go into a city. We would come back here again, for sure! We had our kids, my in-laws, my brother and his girlfriend, and golf friend, all at different times. Everyone was quite impressed with the spaciousness. Bedrooms were all nice size, although the king beds were not king by US standards. 5 stars all around!! Thank you, Brid and Edward!! Until we meet again!! Mary and Paul

Wonderful stay

The house is in a quite location 15 min from Killarney, and it is perfect to enjoy Kerry County and Ring of Kerry. During the week we visited Dingle, Limerick, Kinsale and Cork so you can stay here as a site to enjoy this part of Ireland. You should keep in mind that you need a car to move around because the house is not in a town but in the country. The house is well equipped and clean. It is very spacious inside and also has a big garden for kids if they like to play outside. The owners (Edward & wife) are very kind, helpful and specially nice people. The only negative thing is about the rubbish, they require to organize in a uncomfortable method for us. But this isn't a house problem, is the way people do it in Ireland. We're very pleased to stay there! We would like to stay again in the future!.

We had everything we needed! The house was big and in a beautiful area. Surrounded by sheep farms which was cool! The house could have been cleaner around edges of floor but not terrible. I would recommend fans for bedrooms.Overall the place was perfectly located and nice and quiet!The host was great and very communicative! Beautiful countryside!

Beautiful Holiday Home

I live in Ireland with my wife and children. This holiday home was built in the last few years. We decided to build in Kerry because of the beautiful scenery, mountains and lakes and also because of its proximity to the sea. We, as a family, spend a lot of our free time there.

I chose to build in Kerry because it's my native area and my family and roots are there. Over the years and because of travelling, I had come to appreciate far more what my own native area had to offer in terms of scenery, a peaceful and relaxing location and healthy leisure activities.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

I find the property is an ideal base for discovering not only the Killarney area but the whole Kerry region and the beaches, lakes and mountains are easily accessible. The towns with their entertainment and festivals, such as Tralee and its Rose of Tralee festival, are within short driving distance.
