Ubicado en un rancho cubierto de pinos ponderosa al sur de la ciudad, The Harwood Lodge es un exclusivo lodge con entramado de madera y troncos que cuenta con 5 habitaciones en 3 plantas y también incluye una pequeña cabaña acogedora para invitados de 1 habitación ubicada en el bosque justo al lado del lodge principal .

Una chimenea de roca de río independiente de 40 'sirve como el punto focal del albergue principal. ¡La privacidad y la tranquilidad lo rodean mientras se sumerge en la bañera de hidromasaje, se sienta alrededor de la fogata al aire libre o dispara palomas de arcilla desde la terraza! Great cabin and location

Cabin was great, as were owners. Location was perfect, away from town but close enough. Lots of options for things to do.

Perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! It was the perfect retreat for our church group—clean, comfortable, and peaceful. The space was well-equipped and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend together. The host was responsive and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Enjoyable Get-away

The Country Lodge was very nice, quiet, and tranquil. There was plenty of space both indoor and outdoor for relaxing and spending time together as a family. It was a wonderful place to stay, especially to get away. We had little children, and there were lots of knick-knacks that we had to put up or watch out for, the front door was a little tricky to figure out at first, and the hot tub could have been a little cleaner, but otherwise things were great. Rick and Tammy were easy to communicate and work with and helped with any concerns/questions. They even checked-in part-way through the stay, which was a very personable touch!

Needs to be cleaned and maintained

1) The sliding glass door sticks badly even after we sprayed wd40 on the tracks 2)The whole house needs to be dusted The wine bottles, the animals, all the knock knacks are covered in dust. 3) The bed frame in the main level bedroom is falling apart. 4) Under the sink by the trash can is completely filthy. 5) The string lights on the main deck are just hanging off the house with a pile on the deck. 6) The windows don't open on the upstairs bedroom because the mechanisms are broken and looks like they have been for years. 7) The lightbulbs in the vaulted ceiling need to be replaced. 8) There is a helium baloon stuck in the peak of the ceiling 9) There is no way to turn the light off and have the fan still on in the upper bedroom because the chain is too short to reach. 10) The toilet in the main floor bathroom is loose, it shifts when you sit down. 11) The toilet seat in the upstairs bathroom is loose and moves around. 12) There are no curtains on the bedroom windows downstairs and the curtains in the main level bedroom are not enough to provide any privacy given the sitting area on the front porch looks directly into that bedroom. 13) the sheets on the upstairs bed are worn out and thin. 14). The hot tub water is cloudy and full of particulates. Most of the adults in our party would not use the hot tub because of the condition of the water. All of these things were shared with owner who only replied..... Thank you for staying with us. :(

Congratulations, graduate! I’m a nurse!

Friends and family came into town for a celebration. There was plenty of room for all. I enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and cooking for my family. The back deck was a great place to chill in the evening and look out at the stars. My favorite part was the quiet on the property. Only sounds of nature. Beautiful place! Thank you!

Friends getaway

We had a group of five families, ten adults and ten kids. We had an amazing trip. We loved the seclusion and the hosts were very responsive, friendly and helpful. Would defiantly recommend.

Perfect vacation

We visited with relatives in Spokane and had them over for dinner and to visit, was awesome, there is something to do for everyone, we always feel so comfortable and at home there!! Would highly recommend the cabin, it is amazing and so peaceful!

Perfect

We needed a central location for everyone to meet, and this matched. With a bed and bath on main floor it covered the mobility of one family member and allowed them to still participate. The 3 beds and batgroom downstairs allowed the teens a spot to play boardgames and the ac downstairs ment it was cool for all the teens. The master bed, bath, and balcony up stairs allowed a bit of excape and the little kids gould still be heard from the kitchen and main floor for supervision. The staircase behind the fireplace was a big hit along with the hidden quarks and adults and kids raved about. The laundry/mud room provided a great staging area for party prep. The hot tub was a hit and the fire pit was great for smores. There was space for all ages and no one was running over the top of each other. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Peaceful Canin

We stayed with extended family for a funeral. So nice and peaceful, with plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen is fully stocked with every gadget you will ever need. We all enjoyed our stay. Only update we recommend is to add some hooks to upstairs bedroom for guests to hang clothes & towels. Would definitely stay again. Owner is very responsive and helpful.

Big house small dinning room

Everything was good, but if you want to sit around the table with a big group over 10 people, can’t really do that, table/ dinning room is small. Also if you want kids under 6 to play freely only in the basement they can, in the main living room a bunch of decor and stuff they can brake, also right by the upstairs there are wine racks with wine and if by any chance you fall of the stairs you will break them (a small down side of the house) too much stuff. But for adults great place to come and relax. Cozy fireplace for the winter of fall.

Perfect for a quiet getaway

The hot tub was nice to come back to after a day out in the snow. It was an amazing home and the owners were extremely responsive and made sure to check in with me to see that everything was going well.

Large Country Cabin

Family loved staying at this location. We were able to get multiple households together without feeling cramped for space. The host made sure that we had everything we needed for a good stay.

Beautiful picturesque cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. Fully furnished remote cabin in the woods. Hot tub and the fire pit made our stay so enjoyable and relaxing. Communication with the owns was quick. Thank you so much for sharing your home.

Comfortable and spacious!

Our family really enjoyed this accommodation! Loved the rustic/cabin decor! It was well stocked with essential kitchen items. We would definitely stay here again if we had a large family get together.

Rick Harwood, Owner and Operator of The Harwood Lodge, built this amazing home from just bare land! Rick and family now offer the Lodge up to other families to come and enjoy...

First, clearing the raw land, thinning the trees with his family and drilling the well in 2004, the Lodge served as the family home, as they moved in on New Year's Day 2005 and since has served as headquarters for Harwood Cattle Company until just recently.

As Outfitters & Ranchers, the Lodge served the family well until the nest grew empty! Rick & Tammy have now moved operations to the Big Hole Valley of Montana where they continue to operate The Bunkhouse Hotel in Jackson, MT. and The Harwood House vacation rental in nearby Wisdom, MT. They have most recently added a vacation home in Punta Santiago, Puerto Rico.

Rick graduated from nearby EWU, earning his BA in 1992 and his Master's in 1999 and holds a special place in his heart for Eastern and its extended family. Go Eags! His daughter Beth Graduated from nearby WSU. Go Cougs!

The Harwoods would now like to offer up their beautiful Lodge to you and yours to come out and enjoy for yourselves. We know that you will enjoy the amazing sunsets, the fresh smell of the pines and the nightly howling of coyotes as an amazing escape from the hustle and bustle of life in an absolutely beautiful place. Deer, elk, moose and wild turkeys visit daily and offer a fun attraction. From our family to yours, come on out.
