Osborne steading es un bonito y reformado de lujo de 3 dormitorios, 3 baños en una tranquila Steading granja convertida. Se encuentra ubicado en una tranquila zona rural idílica, pero a poca distancia del centro de St Andrews. La propiedad es un moderno edificio de la luz de dos plantas, cuenta con tres dormitorios, el dormitorio principal tiene una cama king size, baño en suite y vestidor, mientras que los otros dos dormitorios son amplios gemelos. También hay un sofá cama doble situada en el amplio salón, que da alojamiento para hasta ocho personas. Lovely accommodations in a beautiful location

The house is very comfortable clean and welcoming and has a gorgeous private garden in back with a both a dining area and rocking chairs. The views are lovely and it is very quiet. It’s outside of the town of St. Andrews but very easily accessible - a 3 minute drive and nice 15 - 20 minute walk to the center of town.

Well equipped and comfortable

We found the cottage to be perfect for our needs and in a quiet location. Gill was very helpful in ensuring that we settled in immediately. The garden is well maintained with lovely views. Our dogs enjoyed it too!

Absolutely perfect

Our stay in St Andrew’s was amazing. It truly was home to home. The house is big, spacious and very well equipped. We loved that it had Sky TV so we could watch the US open golf. The view of St Andrew’s village from the garden was a wonderful surprise. Everything about the house was wonderful.

Family visit to son in uni

We travelled 2 adults,one 15 year old and a 4 year old to visit our son at uni in St Andrews,the cottage was amazing! We couldn't have asked for more.The cottage had everything,fully equipped. We didn't want to leave and we are already looking at dates to go back.To stay in the good weather would be wonderful,sat on the patio overlooking St Andrews with a glass of wine.Thanks for a great weekend, we'll be back!

Great Holiday with a dog in St Andrews

The property was just what we needed whilst visiting our daughter at St Andrew's. This is the first time we have been on holiday with our dog and the property was perfect - the garden is fully enclosed, which gave her space to run around outside and we were able to set up her crate in the utility room, away from the rest of the house (although we did bring a stair gate to prevent her getting upstairs). The property is also next door to a lovely footpath that goes up over the hill, through a small wood, with fantastic views back over St Andrews and the coast. The house was also well equipped for humans! We'll definitely plan to stay here again when we next visit.

Stunning position

Lovely well equipped cottage, home from home, possibly too much included! Literally did not need to take anything but our clothes Fabulous position with views of St Andrews, dogs loved the garden although we have miniature dachshund’s and they managed to find a couple of escape routes but managed to dog proof the garden with equipment found in the shed 😂 St sndrews was stunning, lovely town and beach half hour walk away Tesco and just eat both deliver there so that was a bonus 👍 Train 5 minutes drive away which we used to get to Edinburgh for Fringe Festival worked perfectly Would definitely recommend and would love to return if were ever up this way again.

Nicely appointed property. As expected with a farm building conversion, the floors squeaked and groaned a bit but just added to the character of the property. Very comfortable to chill out in the garden after a full day on the golf course. The property had experienced a water leak the week previously but Gillian made us aware of that before we arrived and that action had been taken to fix. Unfortunately, we also experienced a water leak and informed Gillian and she had a Plumber out to inspect that evening. He highlighted the issue (linked to tiles in the shower area of the bathroom between the bedrooms) and that this would need be fixed, and would let Gillian know. As we were leaving the following morning don't know if this has been repaired but Gillian had been responsive to the issue being highlighted so would assume this would be addressed in a timely manner. Location is on the outskirts of St Andrews (quiet), but very close to Morrisons for all of your grocery needs. Even with the leak problem, we had a great time and the property met all our needs. Gillian was easy to work with and responsive to calls and issues raised.

Lovely stay in St Andrews

Came for a long weekend to visit our daughter who just started at uni. Brought our two dogs and we all had a comfortable stay. Location was perfect since we had a car. Enclosed back garden very helpful with the dogs. All very easy and house had everything we needed. Thank you!

Great base to explore St Andrews

This property was perfect for my family , nice views and easy to get into St Andrews. It was great to have two fridge freezers ,as there were seven of us ,and the garden was lovely to relax in.

Just a delightful location in this beautiful town of St. Andrews!

Could not have been better! Osborne Stead had the country feel with a spectacular view of the city but was only a short walk from the city center. The accommodations were first rate - comfortable and very home like. Loved every minute!

Cozy and perfect for families

We just completed our stay at Osborne Steading and we absolutely loved it. I traveled with my husband, our two young sons and my in-laws. The house had the perfect amount of space to accommodate all of us comfortably. My young sons were so excited to see a closet full of toys and games! I was happy to see a pack-n-play crib and high chair. The kitchen had everything you could need and we often walked to the grocery store and cooked meals at home. It took about 25 minutes to walk into town (even while pushing a stroller!) and when we didn’t feel like walking, a taxi was always readily available. We would recommended Osborne Steading to anyone and it make our stay in St. Andrews so comfortable and enjoyable!

Hi After spending a few days at Osbourne Steading, We would highly recommend. Gillian the owner is lovely and friendly. The cottage is very clean and catered for everything you could imagine. Everything is to a high standard. It’s like a home from home. I’ve been to so many cottages throughout the UK and this one definitely ticks all the boxes. Obviously internet is a must now, but additional things such as sky tv, wii, dvd! The list just goes on - just makes it feel more homely. The couches/dining room are very comfortable. All beds were comfy and so clean. The dogs loved playing in the garden but everything is on your doorstep, beaches, walks, parks, shops, restaurants. It is of no doubt we will return. There isn’t one negative. Just wish the stay had been longer. Our party was 8 from ages 10 yr old to 80 yr old and everyone loved their stay. Thanks so much, Nichola

Beautiful place to stay in St Andrews

We loved our stay in this gorgeous house. It was fully equipped with lots of little extras to ensure a really enjoyable few days over Christmas. It was beautifully decorated for the festive season. The only small problem was we were unable to get WiFi despite following all instructions. We would love to be able to return in the future.

Adorable cottage

Loved this little cottage! We stayed here while bringing our daughter to the University. It was a perfect location - on the edge of town so quiet and private but only a 2 minute drive to campus and shopping/dining. It was clean & comfortable and had everything we needed. The views of the town and the sunsets were incredible. Would definitely stay here again!

My husband Ian and I purchased Osborne Steading in 2013 as we had spent many lovely holidays in the St Andrews area with our two kids Susannah and Campbell (and our dog Bailey) and wanted to use this as a base for holidays as well opening our home up to allow others to experience St Andrew's unique magic.

We just loved the semi-rural location which gave us all the freedom to walk the fields with the dog but also the ability to walk into St Andrews.
