Lovely house, it had everything that you could need (bring your own body wash/shampoo) and was very clean. It was very fun being close enough to watch people ski, although we did end up making the 60 second drive to the slopes instead of walking.

House is in a great location, nicely furnished, and clean. Beautiful views of the mountain.We arrived the day before a foot snowstorm and had to call to get plowed out the day after, but the host company gave free late check-out so we didn't have any issues. Overall a great stay for a great price and with reasonable checkout instructions. Would recommend.

Great space for families

We rented Chalet by the Lake for a family wedding. The location was perfect conveniently located to the grocery store and tons of activities. The layout was spacious and perfect for our group of two families with small children. Would absolutely rent again.

Great place for a summer getaway

The house was clean, lots of room for 4 adults and 3 kids, and is centrally located. Close to the outdoors, shops, minigolf etc. The house had everything we needed and more than expected. Overall a great place for a summer getaway. Tgank you.

Good overall

Great location, overall nice property. Areas of improvement- Needs a deep clean, high dusting, and cleaning of floor boards- many spiders and webs, stains on bed sheets in one of the bedrooms. Unsteady/unsafe family room table(safety concern with children) and outdated/stained furnishings. Everything was as advertised and overall nice property, just needs some detailing.

Super Clean and Great Location.

This property was terrific. Super location. Great open first floor. Kitchen had everything we needed, plus a grill, fire pit and hot tub! Great WiFi and Cable. By far the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in. They even drain the hot tub after every stay which is so great.

Great location, mis-advertised property

Beautiful home right across from the slopes! There are a number of these, though, so what set this one apart for us was the fact that it had an outdoor hot tub. Unfortunately, it never worked. When we arrived the water was only 62 degrees! We called maintenance on Saturday morning and someone came by while we were skiing. He left a note that he had fixed it, but clearly he did nothing, as the tub never became warm enough to use. There is no way to directly contact the rental property (this is not owner-rented through VRBO, but a rental conglomerate who dominates Deep Creek). The lack of a hot tub was a huge disappointment, especially for the kids. That and the location were the two reasons we were willing to rent such a pricey "chalet." Without a hot tub, the home was falsely advertised, yet in the end the realty company merely offered us $150 off the rental. Not good customer service. We won't rent from them again.

Great Location!

This house was clean and well furnished with everything you would need. It is situated directly across the street from Wisp resort, so it was super convenient for skiing/snowboarding. Lots of activities, too! We highly recommend this property!

What an enjoyable stay!

We had a great long weekend at Chalet by the Lake! The house is beautiful, spacious, clean and very well equipped. It's also very close to the Wisp resort so we had problem walking there to ski and didn't need to drive. We would love to come back again!

Amazing house!!!

You would not believe how close this house is to the ski slopes!!! We took a break from skiing and walked back to the house for lunch! (The house is across the street from the slopes.) Loved the house--so cozy and beautifully decorated. Had a wonderful time with our family at this perfect retreat. Hoping to come back and check out the lake this summer!
