Piccolo Paradiso es una elegante villa de piedra tradicional, situada en la parte sur de Corfú, cerca del lago Korission, el más importante, protegido por el Natura, humedal de la isla. La increíble playa de arena de Issos está a 1 km. Tiene un jardín grande, hermoso y colorido plantado.
La villa es ideal para 6 personas y tiene un baño con ducha, cocina, sala de estar y dos dormitorios. El dormitorio principal con una cama doble y armario. El segundo dormitorio con dos camas individuales y un pequeño ático que es básicamente una zona de dormitorio acogedor para dos personas. La cocina está totalmente equipada y proporciona todas las instalaciones necesarias. La cómoda sala de estar y el dormitorio principal se abren a una amplia terraza y tienen acceso directo al jardín.

Ein wirkliches Paradies

Das Haus ist ein wirkliches Paradies und wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war völlig unkompliziert. Es gibt in der Nähe Möglichkeiten zum Baden, zum Wandern und auch die Orte im Süden der Insel sind in kurzer Zeit zu erreichen. In der Konditorei in der Nähe gibt es ein absolut leckeres Brot und auch die Tavernen sind wunderbar. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Marvelous holiday "Picollo Paradiso"

Without any exaggeration stone house, garden, swimming pool and surroundings in the middle of olive trees were just perfect. And this also goes for maintaining informations by Nancy and the housekeeping! The location is very quiet and perfect for recreation but also within easy access to beautiful Issos Beach and Lake Korission. With the necessity to have a car you are able to explore the beautiful Island of Corfu and there are a lot of very nice and interesting places to see. Over all, a very worthwhile and recommandable place to come back again and enjoy rememberable holidays !

Such a lovely place to stay, Nancy the owner was so helpful, the house was clean and just gorgeous, the beds were comfy and everything you could need was in the house. highly recommend a stay, we could easily have stayed another week.

Ruheoase, ein perfekter Rückzugsort zum relaxen

Nach einem 2-wöchigen Aufenthalt in dem sehr schönen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Steinhaus können wir die vorherigen Bewertungen nur bestätigen...auch der Wunsch vorheriger Gäste nach einer Waschmaschine wurde von den rührigen Gastgebern erfüllt. Hervorheben möchten wir die absolute Privatspähre mit der für Korfu ungewöhnlichen Ruhe. Trotz allem liegt das recht grosse Anwesen nicht ab vom Schuss und zwei Tavernen sind gut erreichbar. Ein Mietwagen ist jedoch unabdingbar. Was sich für uns als absoluter Volltreffer erwiesen hat war die Anmietung von zwei Fahrrädern. Dies hat nicht nur unseren Aktionsradius erheblich erweitert, es hat uns auch das abtrainieren der kulinarischen Schlemmerei ermöglicht. Fast jeden Abend sind wir entweder in die nächstgelegene Taverne Ammolfos (ca. 1 km) oder in eine der vielen Tavernen von Agios Georgios mit dem Fahrrad gefahren. Tipp: Nach A. Georgios jedoch nicht die Strasse nehmen sondern den erlaubten Weg mit Google-Suche durch das Labranda Sandy Beach Resort wählen...ist bedeutend kürzer. Wir waren sogar 3x mit dem Rad in der wunderbar authentischen Taverne Malibu (ca. 6 km) zum essen und zum Baden an dem fast menschenleren Strand zwischen Malibu Taverne und Marathias Beach. Noch zu nennen wäre das urige Restaurant Kafesas, wo Samstag griechische Livemusik dargeboten wird. Wer glasklares Wasser, wenig überlaufene und seicht abfallende Strände mag ist an dem 12 km langen Sandstrand genau richtig. Beginnend am Issos Beach bis nach Marathias Beach kann sich jeder sein Plätzchen aussuchen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten: Richtung Lefkimmi befinden sich ein Lidl (wer es mag) und ein Diellas (grüne Farbe), Richtung Korfu Stadt in Moraitika ein etwas chaotischer, dafür sehr preiswerter COOP mit einem rührigen Besitzer der alles hat und es auch irgendwie findet. In Linea an der Tankstelle gibt es einen Bäcker mit ganz lieben Bäckersleuten die noch richtig handgemachte Produkte herstellen. Alles lecker und preiswert!!!! Das Objekt und deren Ausstattung haben wir so vorgefunden wie es die Bilder in der Galerie wiedergeben, auch die Beschreibung ist zutreffend. Bei eventuell auftretenden Problemen sind die Vermieter immer per Telefon oder Whatsapp erreichbar und sie reagieren auch prompt. Wir möchten uns bei Nancy und Stefanos für diese Perle der Erholung und Entspannung bedanken. Selten konnten wir uns von unserem intensiven Berufsalltag so entspannen.

Excellent property

We had a lovely time here. It is a beautiful property with a pretty garden. It is clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The veranda is very nice and we enjoyed the bedroom with the lovely view of the garden. It is charming and about 40 minutes away from the airport. Issos beach is only 5 minutes away by car and it is gorgeous with lovely soft sand and safe shallow waters which were as warm as a bath when we went in September! The nearby town of Agios Georgios is 5 minutes away. The town is not pretty but we found a couple of nice tavernas serving excellent home cooked meals, with a nice atmosphere. We found that the people of Corfu were very welcoming and kind. We will definitely come back next year!

Lovely private stone villa in a garden

A lovely peaceful spot, so quiet and peaceful. We sat on the patio at night listening to the Scops owls calling, watching the wildlife in the daytime. There are comfortable beds, fluffy towels and clean bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms, with a lounge with french doors to pop out on to the patio. It is a very private property with large double gates off a small road , off the main road. Many thanks to Nancy, the owner, for her leading us to the villa in the dark and for our stay in her pretty villa. I would recommend this to couples wanting a stay away from the crowds but close to excellent restaurants and beaches. But you will need a car to stay here . Great stay here!!! We were sorry to leave.

Schönes Haus, sehr ruhig und weit weg vom Touri-Trubel

Dieses Haus ist wirklich eine Oase der Ruhe. Es ist sehr nett eingerichtet und bis auf eine Waschmaschine ist alles da. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, wir wurden unerwarteterweise sogar am Flughafen empfangen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen sicher wieder.

What a find!

An absolutely perfect little house, in the midst of a gorgeous, peaceful olive grove, 5 minutes drive to one of the best beaches on the island - and many more to explore within a further 10-15 minutes. Lots of places to eat and shop, including one of the best restaurants on the island up on the hill (Archondiko), at similarly convenient distances. Unusually for Corfu, where reasonably-priced villas to rent tend to be tacky and poorly designed, Picolo Paradiso is a model of good taste, clearly designed & built by an architect, which makes for a gorgeous, elegant ambience all round. It is also thoughtfully furnished and kitted out with everything one might need (except, perhaps, a washing machine for longer stays). The owner is charming, helpful and generous, as is the cleaning lady who visits twice a week. There is ample space for kids to play around, but I cannot recommend this place highly enough for weary urban couples - like my partner and me - who seek peace in a stunning natural setting, without compromising on creature comforts. We will certainly be back!

Lovely quiet cottage in a private garden

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely stone cottage which was cool inside despite unusually hot weather (36/37 degrees) for much of the week that we were there. The house had air conditioning in the bedrooms but we didn't need to use this except for short periods of time. The house was quite small but well designed to accommodate two comfortable bedrooms with adequate storage space, a bathroom, and a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Best of all was a covered patio with comfortable table and chairs, as well as loungers to place under the olive trees in the garden (or in the sun when it wasn't too hot!). Wifi was good though its connection to the internet was not always good but this seemed an efficient connection compared with some other experiences in other parts of the island. The friendly owner came to greet us and provided a welcome pack of water, wine and basic breakfast groceries. Having a spacious garden and the location just off a quiet lane, meant that it was peaceful and relaxing. The local beach was not far - just over 1km, and by walking along the shore you could reach some very empty parts of the beach, which stretched some 3 or 4km towards a further 3 km of Chalikounas beach joined by a footbridge. Walking around lake Korission - a protected wildlife area behind the beach, and around the mountain village of Chlomos nearby were pleasant evening walks. There were also good local retaurants, one at the entrance to Issou beach, and another - Bioporos - cooking its own organic produce, where you could view the sunset over the lake and then watch the stars courtesy of the owner's sophisticated telescope (and his knowledeable information). There's a small shop within walking distance but a car is advisable as it's several kms to supermarkets or if you want to visit other places. So between beach swimming, relaxing at the house, walking, and visiting a few local sights, other beaches and villages, we could have stayed much longer in this comfortable house. We made a few suggestions about equipment and information for the house which the owner was pleased to receive. With these additions we'd give this property a 5*. If we return to Corfu we'd love to stay here again.
