Precioso 2 dormitorio doble acristalamiento granero carácter. Cómodamente complaciente 4 personas, The Old Barn Piggery tiene un interior contemporáneo completamente reformadas. La sala de estar / comedor tiene nuevos pisos de madera a lo largo Karndean. El salón tiene dos sofás de cuero, un DVD la reproducción de TV LED y una nueva barra de sonido bluetooth. La cocina de la cachemira de alto brillo montado junio de 2016, incluye un tamaño completo nevera bajo mostrador despensa, congelador de tamaño completo y lavavajillas no engorda, nuevo horno y encimera. También hay una barra con taburetes de la barra 4 de cuero. Tiene un dormitorio doble y un dormitorio con dos camas, ambos equipados con acogedoras alfombras nuevas de alta calidad. . El baño ha sido reemplazado por completo y ahora tiene un pie en la ducha y se azulejos en todas partes. En los terrenos de una tranquila Tudor Manor ellos con vistas a la Bahía de montajes, el granero también se beneficia del uso de la piscina climatizada y dos pistas de tenis, lavandería y área de bar que sirve comida y aperitivos.
Este es un lugar muy tranquilo para alojarse con muchas playas fabulosas en su puerta.

Well situated for exploring

This was a small, practical and well situated house for the four us. We had easy reach of Marazion beach with lovely views of St Michaels Mount. Eating out was easy with a pub at the Manor and another just a short walk across the fields in Gulval. We had excellent recommendations from the property manager for places to eat, explore, and enjoy in the area.

Schöne, moderne Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage nahe Penzance

Gute, ruhige Lage in einer Art Ferienhauspark mit Restaurant, kleinem Shop und Indoorpool im Hauptgebäude. Gute Ausstattung, moderne Küche mit kleinen Mängeln (keine Kochlöffel oder Pfannenwender, keine Küchenhandtücher, nur 1 Spüllappen) , ansonsten alles da: Fernseher, Bluetooth Boxen, Bücher, Reiseführer, einige Spiele)einfaches Einchecken. Für 2 Personen war es gut, für 4 wäre es mir zu klein. Die gezeigten Schränke in den Schlafzimmern werden mehr als Abstellräume genutzt für Staubsauger, Bügelbrett, Strandsachen, Liegestühle… da war kaum Platz für Kleidung. Wir konnten das 2. Schlafzimmer für Koffer und Kleidung nutzen , aber für 4 wäre das schwierig, nur 2 Kommoden verfügbar. Für ausländische Gäste fände ich ein Benutzerhandbuch gut, da uns zB Schließmechanismen der Haustür und Fenster und die Heizungsbedienung in englischen Häusern fremd sind . Michelle war aber erreichbar und hat uns alles erklärt und alle Probleme rasch beseitigt. Letztlich empfehlenswert. Ich würde es wieder buchen.

Lovely place to stay & discover Cornwall

Great place to stay. The Piggery was on a very quiet complex. Well laid out, very clean & good facilities. Had a very relaxing holiday. Location excellent for touring Cornwall, close to Penzance , St Ives & lots of beautiful beaches. Great communication from the owner who provided lots of ideas of things to do, thanks. Would definitely recommend

Michelle had given us great information how to get there. Also lots of information on places to visit and eat. The Piggery had everything we needed great shower.

Lovely location and property

Really good communication from the owner. A lovely situation close to lots to do and didn't feel crowded in mid-summer Cornwall. The week was damp so there was little place to dry things as the property is tucked into a hillside so hard to ventilate, but that was a small issue. Overall I would recommend highly for a family summer holiday.

A great place to end lazy days on the beach.

We had a great time in Cornwall and coming back to piggery was always great way to end the day. Clean and spacious and a lovely conversion. The walk to the local pub in gulval through the fields was great especially during sunset. Michelle’s advice on where to spend our days was invaluable and allowed us to visit some beaches we wouldn’t have otherwise found.

Lovely little barn

We really enjoyed our stay at the old piggery, lovely location and particularly enjoyed being able to eat outside on the picnic table. Brilliant communication from the property owner with loads of great suggestions on things to do and places to go.

We had a lovely stay. The property was well kept but was a bit small for 4 adults, with the second bedroom being a real squash. The owners provided some super information re places to eat etc

The piggery

We arrived after a lengthy journey. Unpacked and relaxed in to the property. We used the local restaurant to avoid cooking and revelled in the peace at the location. The property was flexible, cool, well placed for access to shops and pleasure beaches. The fridge and freezer were suitable for our needs, the kitchen was great. Beds were comfortable and the sofas inviting. The site allowed us to play tennis and swim without needing to travel. The shop and restaurant meant you didn't need to travel for simple items and if you didn't feel like cooking after a long day on the beach. Wonderful holiday in a peaceful location. Thanks.

Great little barn

So close to many wonderful places including Mousehole, Lamorna Cove and Sennen Cove. Three days was not long enough and we’d love to come back.

A gorgeous little hidden gem!

We have just returned from an absolutely fabulous weeks stay at The Old Piggeries. Michelle was so helpful from the original booking, right through our stay - she gave recommendations on the best beaches, pubs, restaurants, places to see - all of which were great. The barn itself has a modern decor, but still retains the rustic charm. It's perfectly situated in a beautiful and unspoiled part of Cornwall with so much to see and do. The site is quiet, we only used the pool once - but it was clean and adequate for our needs. Small bar area - again we only used it once, but the staff were very friendly. We have visited Cornwall for a short holiday every year, for the last 10 years - without a doubt this was our best break! Will definitely return!

Very tastefully furnished barn cottage

Lovely barn in peaceful location

We spent a week in this lovely barn feeling relaxed and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped, rooms very clean and decorated with lovely details. The area is very quiet and peaceful. We were very close to all places we wanted to visit. The best thing was to have big supermarkets 5min drive from the barn. Our children loved their bedroom and a big shower. Thank you for making our stay so relaxed!

This is a very well equipped barn, very comfortable, great location for exploring south Cornwall

We are a family of 4 , 2 boys 10 and 15, the house is finished to a high standard. There's a sound bar for the telly, which was great for movie night. Ideal location to visit Cape Cornwall, St Ives, St Michaels Mount, Penzance, even going to the Scilly Isles. Beautiful home, we will be back.

Very well furnished with a new kitchen

The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed for our holiday. The site was clean and we used the pool and hot tub, but did not eat in the restaurant. Very good location for visiting both coasts and Lands End. Quiet, easy to find and very close to st Ives for an evening out. The only problem we found was the damp in the main bedroom, probably due to the fact that is was a barn and part of the back wall was below ground level. The heating came on twice a day, and was needed as we had a fairly wet week. The carpet in the back cupboard was going mouldy. Its such a shame as the cottage was furnished to a high standard and the kitchen was the best I have used. If the damp issue can be sorted it should have 5 stars!

Great location, well equipped.

The barn is in a fabulous location for exploring West Cornwall, within a few miles you have numerous places to visit and attractions to see. The accommodation is modern, very clean and tidy and has everything you need for stay away from home. Would recommend and wouldn't hesitate to make a return visit. Thanks!

Good value character property in great loaction.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at "The Old Piggeries" in Gulval .A lovely character property, well located for exploring West Cornwall including St Ives & St Michael's Mount and close to local amenities. Property was tastefully decorated, clean, fresh and well equipped with a new kitchen and bathroom with excellent shower. Easy parking and access in a peaceful location with the added attraction of an indoor heated pool which we enjoyed.

Lovely barn

We stayed in this barn in August 2016 and found it to be a lovely barn, just as described, clean, well equipped and had everything we needed. The owners were really helpful from booking to stay and after, the area is beautiful. The site has everything that you need and the position of the barn is very good and is quiet but also close to all amenities. Beautiful part of Cornwall with lots of lovely beeches, close access to St Michaels Mount, Penzance and St Ives to name just a few. I would recommend this barn to others and would return.

Lovely quiet place to stay

Really lovely and comfortable place to stay. The pictures do not do it justice. Had a great holiday. The Old Piggerries is the nicest accommodation that we have stayed in. Kenegie Manor and grounds are also very pleasant, a nice quiet place to stay, which was perfect for us. The staff are also friendly and helpful. We definitely want to return again.

We are a busy family who enjoy the escape where life is more relaxing. We love the surf beaches as well as the many quality pubs and restaurants where we are spoilt for choice when eating out.

Having returned to Cornwall with our children for regular holidays we discovered Kenegie Manor .The tranquility of the site really appealed to us and the tennis courts and swimming pool were a real bonus.

Having decided to invest in our own property we purchased 'The Old Piggery Barn', in May 2013. The barn is situated behind Kenegie Manor set amongst similar granite barns. We particularly like the fact that we are a detached building, and having previously been a 'Piggery', it has heaps of character.

We have completely renovated the entire barn fitting new electrics, double glazed windows, state of the art infra red heating panels air filtration unit and a wood burning stove. We are continually updating the property to make it a real 'home from home' and have a gorgeous fully fitted kitchen with quality appliances, new flooring, bathroom and memory foam mattresses.

'The Old Piggery Barn', is a unique and ideal base from which to explore the stunning countryside and coastline. Peacefully situated in Gulval overlooking Mounts Bay you have only a mile to travel into Penzance to be surrounded by all types of shops, and various amenities. The local beach, Marazion is a lovely family beach with plentiful parking and family friendly pubs serving food; with stunning views across to St. Michael's Mount. St.Ives is six miles along the country road to your left outside the driveway, this is a fabulous place to visit and it's very easy to spend an entire day here.. Tate St Ives is located just in front of the stunning surf beach, Porthmeor.
Here you'll find the fabulous Porthmeor restaurant on the beach with a surf school and hire if you're feeling the need to experience the waves.
. Gwithian is also just a short drive up the A30 for excellent surf and a chance to spot the local seals in their habitat a short walk to the right from the national trust car park.
If you're visiting at Christmas, the lights at Mousehole nearby are stunning.

The Old Piggeries is a very loved barn full of charm and character. We have created a lovely base in which to unwind and discover all the delights of this gorgeous part of Cornwall. Tremenhere cafe and sculpture park is in Gulval our village and has fabulous reviews. Jubilee pool, the art deco wonder is situated in Penzance and now has a geothermal spa available to book. There's amazing restaurants for foodie fans including Mermaid Alley, New St Penzance. Pre book as it's very special.
The White Hart in Ludgven is consistently fabulous for dinner with the family as is 'The Haseltown Inn, en route to St. Ives.
It's an incredible part of the world.
