"El Knowe Cottage" ha pertenecido a la familia del propietario de más de 100 años y su objetivo es que usted también encontrará que es un "hogar lejos del hogar", donde podrá relajarse con comodidad y disfrutar de todo lo que la zona tiene para ofrecer. PASEOS en esta zona de gran belleza son muchas y variadas incluyendo PESCA "El Camino Cowal" de la caballa es muy popular en el muelle. Los permisos para lagos trucheros locales están disponibles en Kames PO. BARCO ADPIC El vapor de paleta Waverley llama en forma regular durante los meses de verano o, si se prefiere una embarcación más pequeña, póngase en contacto con CC Marina para organizar excursiones en barco por el Morag explorando la zona del mar.

Lovely peaceful stay

The property was lovely very clean and well equipped and in a quiet unspoilt location but within walking distance of shop, pub and coffee shops etc. Plenty of walking trails and coastal paths for wildlife spotting.

Absolutely immaculate

This little house is beautiful, so clean with lots of thoughtful touches. We loved it and were blessed with amazing weather. Beautiful sunny garden , the sea nearly within touching distance and fantastic views. Thank for letting us stay

A hidden gem

We had a lovely time at The Knowe, Tighnabruaich. Isobel was there to greet us on arrival, which was lovely, as she could give us some great information on places to visit. The view from the cottage is stunning, & local people very friendly. Lots to see & do , even on couple of rainy days.

Great location, beautiful house

We spent a wonderful week at The Knowe with our two young children. The house was immaculate and extremely comfortable, with everything we needed (and more) provided. Isobel was verly communicative and gave us some helpful tips of things to do in the area, as well as kindly providing a cot for our youngest and toys for both the kids. The area is beautiful, so much to see and do within easy driving/ferry distance. We had a wonderful week and hope we can return again!

This cottage is in a great position with lovely sea views over the Kyles of Bute and a short hop down to the shore. Inside it is bright, light and modern with everything you need provided. Outside there is a lovely garden and two seating areas for meals. We had all our meals sat outside enjoying the sunshine and the views. Everything inside and out is in an immaculate condition - simply a wonderful place to be and to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The owner Isobel was there to meet us when we arrived and gave us the warmest of welcomes with detailed information on everything within the cottage and outside. We loved everything about this cottage and the location.

A little piece of heaven

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The cottage is clean, comfortable and feels like a home not a rental. The kitchen is really well equipped - even with foil and baking paper ! Isobel is really helpful and friendly. The view of the water is so peaceful - I swam everyday - and the village had all we needed. Thank you so much for a wonderful week

Fantastisches Urlaubsdomizil

Sehr schöne, erholsame August-Ferienwoche in einem fantstischen kleinen Ferienhaus in einem hübschen Ferienort an der Küste von Argyll, mit Blick über die Kyles of Bute auf die Insel Bute und nach Süden bis zu den Bergen der Insel Arran. Gemütlich und komfortabel ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht, inclusive Gartentisch und Terrasse. Die total nette Vermieterin Isobel war zu einer herzlichen persönlichen Begrüßung anderthalb Stunden angereist und gab wirklich praktische Tipps zu Ausflügen in die nähere Umgebung. Vielen Dank für diese wirklich gastfreundliche Unterkunft!

Amazing cottage in a fantastic location

Amazing cottage in a fantastic location. The owner, Isobel, met us on arrival and was really helpful and knowledgeable, suggesting various restaurants and places of interest to visit. Would highly recommend the cottage and will certainly be back.

Stunning location, incredible sea views and beautiful cottage

We stayed in Isobel's cottage 9-16th April 2022 and were absolutely blown away by the stunning location and the beautiful quaint cottage. Isobel was so accommodating from the moment we booked. She made sure the log fire was set up for our arrival and the cottage was sparkling clean with everything you could need. The sea views are incredible and the village is lovely with a local premiere store for shopping essentials, 2 cafes, a nic-Nacs store, 2 hotels that serve food, a childrens play park with enclosed football and open shinty pitches as well as some fantastic walks. We were lucky enough to spot otters twice on our walks, which was just wonderful! I would highly recommend this beautiful cottage to everyone. You won't be disappointed!! And Isobel is the perfect host. Thank you for having us. We will be back!!!

Beautiful house in a stunning location

Had a great time. Isobel the owner was there to meet us and was really helpful recommending some nice places to visit and eat. The area is breathtaking, so calming and just what we all needed. Some nice restaurants and lots to do, especially if you like the water and walking and a beautiful Sandy beach just 15 mins drive away. The house is beautiful and so well equipped with everything you could need and some lovely touches like beach towels and blankets for cold evenings. We will definitely come back.

Excellent cottage great location

The cottage was as advertised very clean,comfortable and beautiful location.Communication with the owner was great.Local shops friendly and the weather could not have been better. Boat trip on the Morag and shore walk at Carry farm are a must locally.Also Ostel beach and beaches on Mull.

Wonderful property in beautiful place

Wonderful to be able to get away for the first time in 18+ months. The house is stunning as is the garden - with gorgeous views from every room. Even better than we had hoped for in every regard. It’s a beautiful quiet spot and wonderful place to explore from. We loved our stay and Isabel was wonderful greeting us and helping with any questions. The house is in a wonderful spot and is delightful. A charming comfortable beautiful home from home. Thank you!

Homely cottage

Isobel is a great host and has thought of everything you need to enjoy your stay at her wonderful cottage! Despite the weather and Covid restrictions we enjoyed our holiday in Tighnabruaich. The location is perfect overlooking the picturesque Kyles of Bute. We would love to visit again sometime!

Great cottage

Lovely property in an amazing location

This is a characterful property with a fantastic view and a lovely garden. It is well-equipped, clean and comfortable. The owner responded quickly to queries and the arrangements for arrival and departure were easy. Tighnabruaich is a fantastic placeand the views from the house are stunning.

I have strong ties to Tighnabruaich where I was born and spent a very contented childhood. It is with great pleasure that I now watch my five grandsons revelling in the freedom to pursue outdoor adventures from the cottage bought by their great, great grandfather in 1911 - sailing, canoeing, fishing, swimming, raft racing, cycling, walking and playing tennis and golf. As my brother Jim wrote in his song Always Argyll - "Always Argyll, long may the memories linger"
