NUEVO en 2019: una magnífica piscina climatizada con energía solar de 5 mx 9 m con cubierta automática y una gran terraza para tomar el sol. La villa se encuentra en el campo virgen del Algarve con vistas a los naranjos. La zona rural es popular entre los caminantes y está cerca del Camino del Algarve. Las montañas de Monchique están al norte y las hermosas playas al sur. La villa cumple totalmente con todas las normas legales y de seguridad requeridas por la Oficina de Turismo de Portugal. Alojamento Local (AL) Registro No. 27422 / AL
El alojamiento es espacioso y confortable y cuenta con numerosas comodidades modernas para que sus vacaciones sean lo más relajantes posible. La planta superior del garaje tiene una sala de juegos con zona de estar y una mesa de billar / billar o ping-pong. Hay una mesa de ping pong y futbolín al aire libre de tamaño completo. Para los golfistas, la villa también está cerca de los campos de golf Amendoeira y Silves. Cuenta con calefacción por suelo radiante y todas las habitaciones tienen ventanas con cerradura segura / puertas de patio y persianas. Hay mosquiteras en todas las habitaciones. Beautiful Villa with pool.

A bucolic retreat. The villa was very comfortable and well appointed. The outdoor space and landscaping was fabulous. Collette was an excellent hostess and very responsive to our very few issues. Over all, the rental iwas a positive experience.

Wonderful trip

This is our second visit to this villa. The property is beautiful and well-maintained. It was spotlessly clean upon arrival, which made settling in easy.The villa is well-equipped, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had modern appliances, and there was plenty of space to relax.The host was extremely helpful and responsive, providing useful information about the area and answering any questions we had. Their recommendations for local sights and dining were appreciated.The location was excellent, offering a balance of tranquility while being close to local attractions and beaches. Overall, I would highly recommend this villa for anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable stay in Portugal.

Absolute perfection.

Lovely property in a very quiet rural area. With a car you are able to access everywhere in no time at all. I'd say it's the nicest and most complete rental I have ever stayed at. Excellent communication from booking to leaving, everything worked and it felt like an honour to be there. Would recommend this spacious and very well equipped rental for every occasion. Just spent a week there with my 6 year old son. Fantastic.

Superb villa excellent value

First time for myself and my wife to stop in a villa and have both made the decision not to stop on a resort again. Villa was better than we had thought it was everything was available to us so that once we had done a small shop we didn’t really need to leave the property. Owner was a great help to us and nothing was too much trouble for them. Super location car is required however to get about but that was a bonus because we got to see parts of the Algarve that we would not have been able to get to see if stopping at a resort. Can’t wait for next year.

Great villa with fantastic pool

We had a great experience in the Algarve and in the villa. We knew that it is a bit remote, so a (rental) car is required. There’s plenty of great restaurants nearby though. The swimming pool is just fantastic, we had a great time! There’s always something that can fail in any house and so that happened during our visit. It’s how that is being dealt with that makes all the difference. Within 30 minutes, the handyman arrived at the house and immediately started to fix the problem while we were going out on a tour. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would love to come back some day!

2 weeks of luxury

Where to begin, when we booked this villa we were blown away by the photos and descriptions provided by the owners as well as the reviews of other guests, however nothing can really do justice to staying here in person. The Villa has got to be hands down the best I’ve ever stayed in. The attention to detail by the owners is incredible they really have thought of everything and there is nothing you could want for. Communication at all stages with the owner was excellent both before our arrival giving us loads of information and directions to assist our safe entry. Then the list of restaurants and days out as well as information on local attractions and places to visit was great. On arrival a welcome parcel of some snacks and drinks were gratefully received and after arriving so late meant breakfast was all in hand the following day without having to leave. The villa itself is spectacular we love the fact the location is remote enough to have the peace and quiet with spectacular views all around but then still not far to get to anything. The pool was amazing and a great temperature all day round meant if you wanted there was no reason to ever leave the Villa. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and we will definitely be returning in the future this area of Portugal is fantastic and our stay at Casa Amendoeira Velha was 5 star.

Tolles Haus in toller Lage

Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt. Das Haus war toll ausgestattet, sauber besaß eine sehr schöne ruhige Lage und hatte alles (und mehr) was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub zusammen mit seiner Familie sich wünscht. Colette (wie auch ihr Manager vor Ort Mike) waren tolle Ansprechpartner in allen Fragen im Vorfeld zu unserem Besuch wie auch während unseres Aufenthaltes. Wer etwas Besonderes sucht ist hier absolut richtig!

Wir sind begeistert von der schönen Villa, die wirklich keine Wünsche offen lässt und dem tollen Eindruck, den die Bilder vermitteln, absolut gerecht wird. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch die schnelle, unkomplizierte und kompetente Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin. Sowohl die Anreise als auch der Aufenthalt sind Dank der ausführlichen Beschreibungen einfach und problemfrei. Auch wir durften uns über ein großzügiges Willkommenspaket an Lebensmitteln freuen, was wir sehr zu schätzen wissen. Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt in der Villa und können das Haus bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen.

Perfect Villa for Families

We had the best week staying in Colette’s beautiful villa. It’s perfectly located in quiet surroundings with great views of the area. The villa was spotlessly clean and so well equipped. Everything you could want for a holiday was there to be used. We paid extra for the pool to be heated which was great. Nothing was too much trouble for Colette. Would highly recommend this villa.

Great Villa!

We has a fantastic stay. The Villa was spacious and airy, well stocked with everything you might need and more. Between the pool, football table, hammock and ping pong our kids never wanted to leave the Villa. Great communication from the owners, very responsive and had lots of tips to share too. Welcome pack on arrival was super helpful. Would definitely stay again

Ach war es wunderschön

Exzellent ausgestattetes Haus in toller Lage, in Orangenhainen gelegen. Gemütliche Einrichtung, sagenhafter Pool, den wir den täglich genossen haben. Nahezu uneinsehbarer Traumgarten, mit Sitzgelegenheiten für jede Tageszeit und Sonnenstand. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, herzlichen Dank auch für das freundliche und leckere Willkommenspräsent.

Sehr schöne Villa mit Pool an der Algarve

Wir haben im August und September 2020 mitten in der Corona-Zeit zwei erholsame Ferienwochen in der Villa verbracht. Diese liegt ca. 20 Minuten von der Küste entfernt, von Orangenfeldern umgeben, im Hinterland der Algarve in der Nähe des Städtchens Silves. Die moderne Villa ist auf einem schönen großen Grundstück mit zahlreichen Sitzplätzen in Sonne und Schatten für jeden Geschmack und einem tollen Pool. Die Ausstattung im Haus ist sehr gut, insbesondere die Küche hat alles was man braucht inkl. sämtlicher Elektrogeräte. Es gibt sogar einen Weber-Kugelgrill. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Badezimmer und ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Freizeitmöglichkeiten wie Pool-Billiard, Boule-Platz, Tischtennis und Kicker. So wird es selbst Teenagern nicht langweilig. Wir möchten uns besonders bei den Vermietern Collette und ihrem Mann Richard bedanken, die bei Bedarf sofort reagieren und uns zur Begrüßung ein Willkommenspaket inform eines großen Essenpakets überlassen haben. So kann man den ersten Abend und das Frühstück auch ohne Einkauf gut überstehen. Es gibt auch eine Mappe mit zahlreichen Infos zu Ausflügen, Stränden und Restaurants. Wir werden den ruhigen Aufenthalt in de Villa in den turbulenten Zeiten als sehr positiv in Erinnerung behalten und können Ferien dort nur weiterempfehlen. Wir vergeben 5 Sterne von 5.

Großes Haus mit tollem Pool

Wir sind eine Familie mit zwei Kindern (11+9) und haben zum Ende unserer Portugal-Reise 9 Tage in diesem Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr groß und hervorragend ausgestattet. Man merkt an der Ausstattung, dass der Vermieter das Haus auch selber nutzt. Es gibt sogar einen Wäschetrockner, Tischkicker, einen eigenen Boule-Platz, Grill, viele Sitzgelegenheiten im Garten, deutsches Fernsehen über Internet - und vieles mehr! Das Highlight ist aber der neu angelegte Aussenbereich mit Terrasse und großem Pool zur Alleinnutzung. Hier haben wir und unsere Kinder den Urlaub genießen können! Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen und ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Algarve. Ein Auto ist aber unbedingt erforderlich. Silves ist die nächstgelegene Stadt (ca. 15 Minuten) mit vielen Restaurants und Supermärkten (z.B. auch Lidl). Allerdings ist das letzte Stück Straße zum Haus ein staubiger, holpriger Feldweg auf dem man nur langsam vorankommt - das ist der einzige Nachteil an diesem Ferienhaus. Wir hatten etwas Sorge, da dass Haus keine Klimaanlage hat - da aber überall Moskitonetze an den Fenstern sind, konnte man nachts die Fenster geöffnet lassen und die kühlere Luft reinlassen. Der Kontakt zu Collette (Engländerin) war vor und während unseres Aufenthalts sehr gut. Sue und Mike kümmern sich vor Ort um den Empfang und die Poolreinigung und sind ebenfalls sehr nette Gastgeber. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

Fantastic fun family week away

Great location if (like us) you like to get away from it all. Property was even better than described & everything was available for family time at the villa or for a day out. Fabulous pool, home away from home!

We stayed at the villa for 10 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Pool was great and warm which is a first for Portugal! Kids loved it! Villa has everything you need as my husband is a keen cook. Definitely need a car as nothing is in working distance which for us was a plus so the kids can have a fab time in the pool without annoying anyone, also with busy life’s it’s nice to chill. Silves is a pretty city and it was nice to see more of Portugal as we normally stay in Burgau. Only thing i would say is a small negative is the bedrooms could benefit from air conditioning but there are plenty of fans. Collette was helpful throughout the booking, would definitely recommend!

I was introduced to the Algarve in 1986 . I fell in love with the place and my husband and I have spent most of our holidays since then renting villas in the area. After years of looking in estate agents windows we plucked up courage to view some of the properties. We eventually found an old ruined house for sale in our ideal location. We bought it in August 2006 and started on our "10 year project".
After the long process of getting planning permission and finding a builder we could trust we started building in May 2010 and stayed in our new house for the first time in August 2012. Only six years into our project. We have now started to develop the garden. January 2016 saw the creation of the Mediterranean garden to the side of the villa. In January 2017 a variety of fruit trees (lemons, lime, grapefruit, apple, pears, mango, kiwi, nectarine and fig) were planted. The area in front of the kitchen terrace has been developed with borders and a path leading to the hammock underneath the carob trees (a lovely cool, shady place to relax). In 2019 a new pool and sunbathing terrace was built to replace the old eirado. We could then start to complete the work on the garden. A new lawn was laid and a Boules court added in May 2019

We spent many years looking all over Portugal for the perfect location. We finally decided on an area between the coast and the towns of Silves and Sao Bartholomew de Messines. The old ruin was ideal. It is amongst the orange groves in an unspoilt ,quiet rural area. Everything we needed as a family was within a short distance. Fantastic restaurants, supermarkets, beaches and water parks - what could be better.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

It was built as a home from home. The kitchen is brilliant if you want to eat in or barbeque. The open plan area means that you can all be together if you want but there is also plenty of space to be apart - the play room above the garage is ideal for our two boys.
There are fantastic restaurants in the area - a full list is in the house with our personal recommendations.
A generous welcome pack of food and drink will be available so that you can have a snack (or breakfast if you arrive late) meaning you do not have to rush out to the supermarket when you arrive.
We provide all pool/beach towels so you can just take hand luggage if you wish.
