El Jolly Boat es un encantador apartamento para dos personas. Es uno de los siete apartamentos en Seapoint, un edificio victoriano ubicado en lo alto por encima del mar a las afueras de Port Isaac. Es moderno, soleado, amplio y luminoso y tiene un precioso refugio para dos personas durante todo el año. Está bien situado, siendo a poca distancia de la aldea de Port Isaac y el puerto, hermosa cala de Port Gaverne y pub y las tiendas de café, tienda de regalos y restaurantes en la parte superior de la aldea. Hay aparcamiento privado gratuito directamente fuera - una verdadera ventaja en Port Isaac donde el estacionamiento puede ser casi imposible, sobre todo en temporada alta.

El apartamento tiene vistas al jardín comunitario en la parte posterior - se trata de un espacio exterior que los huéspedes pueden usar para sentarse; el jardín con vistas al mar y hay una zona de secado allí para lavar, trajes de neopreno, etc.

Tan pronto como usted salga del edificio Seapoint se enfrentan al mar, con unas vistas espectaculares de todo a Port Gaverne. Perfect location to explore port Isaac and Port Gaverne

On the outskirts of Port Isaac with Port Gavene just a few hundred yards away and with a dedicated parking space made this an ideal location to explore this part of the Cornish coastline. The first floor flat was really nice - bijou - but perfect for a couple, but it was the location that really made this holiday and we were so lucky to have a week of perfect weather

Ideal couples retreat & treat

Perfect small but adequate one bedroomed apartment close to Port Isaac but away from the crowds with added bonus of parking & a view to die for at the front of the property. Owners very accommodating & the apartment has every mod con that you need. Several eating choices close by & a BBQ provided should you prefer. A wonderfully relaxing holiday.

Long weekend

Had a lovely stay the flat was on the SWCP, which is why we had selected it. As we had gone down to walk 2 sections of the path. It was like home from home.

Perfect lication

Very comfortable and thoughtfully equipped- everything you could possibly need! Tastefully furnished and decorated. Light and sunny lounge/ diner. Nice place to sit out in the sun in the evening, and an allocated car space. Great location for a short walk into Port Isaac, or Port Gaverne, or the coastal path.

Lovely holiday!

We spent two lovely weeks in the Jolly Boat! The flat is very cosy and is provided with everything you might need on a holiday, from a well equipped kitchen and a comfy sofa to read on on a rainy day to folding chairs to sit outside and enjoy the breathtaking view! We were very sorry to leave. Thank you Karen and Jeff!

Nice little hide away in Cornwall

The apartment is just the right size for 2 people and has everything you need for a self-catering holiday. Amenities are within walking distance (the town of Port Isaac is a steep downhill walk and what goes down must come back up ;) ) so make sure you wear the right shoes. Port Gaverne beach, which is right in front of the apartment, is great for some relaxation as Port Isaac is very touristy and busy in the summer. I would definitely come back here.

Comfortable Stay

Apartment is cosy and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped for self catering. Shower slightly awkward to get in and out. Fabulous area in front of designated parking, with chairs and table available to use, we took full advantage of as June and sunny. Although no views from apartment, the view from this outside area, absolutely stunning.

A comfortable flat in a great location

I had a very pleasant week in the Jolly Boat which is in a great location. The outside of the building is a little tired and I was not tempted to sit in the communal porch despite lovely views but to take chairs out and sit overlooking Port Gaverne was fantastic. The flat itself had everything I needed and the kitchen though small was well equipped. To be so close to both Port Isaac and Port Gaverne was a real bonus as was the parking although until I realised you could remove the poles I had a few challenging moments getting into the space!

Views magic

Lovely spacious flat half way between Port Issac and Port Gaverne away from the tourist route. Magic views from small area downstairs in inclement weather and outside overlooking Port Gaverne. The 2 camping chairs a real plus to sit out looking directly down on Port Gaverne as was the dedicated parking space, easy to get into and out of. Only downside for me as someone of matureyears was the small shower but

Affordable accomodation

Flat is in a good position in Port Isaac with parking space. Furnished to a good standard. Only downside is bathroom rather cold and bedroom cold and damp. We were there during storm Gareth, which probably did not help the situation. Would imagine this would not be a problem in the warmer months. Overall we enjoyed our stay despite this.

Stay at Jolly Boat

The property was excellent. It had everything one needed for our stay, it was clean and fully equipped. We found however the process of locating the property quite frustrating. Not the instructions from the owners but the fact that we would have had to wait 3 days before our stay from yourselves. This was extremely frustrating and we will not be using this system again. We did eventually communicate with the owners who were extremely helpful and we would have liked to have had this facility at the beginning.

Best seat in the house

I chose this property because of the advertised views over Port Gaverne, and it did not disappoint! I was originally planning to stay at the property by myself, but then my dad decided to come along. The owners were very kind and made arrangements for two sets of linens (beware, they are not included in the rental price!) so that we could also use the pullout couch. I slept very comfortably there for all 7 nights of our stay. The rental was small and cozy but had everything we needed, and once we found the direct walking path up the hill to the Co-op, we were set! Be advised that this rental is about as far from the harbor in Port Isaac as you can possibly get (and uphill the whole way) but the parking sport was super convenient and we loved feeling like we were on top of the world. We pulled the communal table and chairs out pretty much every night of our stay, enjoying a drink as we looked out toward Tintagel and watched the sun go down. Owners were so lovely and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again next time we are in PI! Highly recommend for a solo traveler or pair of family members or friends.

Wir hatten schöne Tage! Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben - klein und fein - geschmackvoll und hübsch eingerichtet. Etwas schade, dass sie keinen direkten Blick zum Meer hat. Für Flugreisende ist es etwas umständlich, weil man seine eigene Bettwäsche (für eine große gemeinsame Decke) und Handtücher selbst mitbringen muss. Das nimmt viel Platz/Gewicht weg beim Gepäck.

Eine sehr gemütliche kleine Wohnung

Wir haben unseren Auenthalt in der Wohnung sehr genossen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Abwicklung mit den Vermietern war problemlos und es hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Das Haus liegt auch sehr praktisch direkt an einer Straße an den Klippen und zur anderen Seite ist man zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten mitten im Ort oder am Hafen. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche dort.

Pleasant stay

Karen and Jeff’s flat was decorated with lovely Cornish accessories/ornaments. The kitchen was well equipped. However getting into the shower was a bit tricky i.e. too high and small. Could do with an extra toilet roll! 😉 Overall we had a pleasant stay in the flat. Thank you to the hosts.

Fabulous little get away!

Although the weather was rubbish during our stay, we had the most amazing week away. The appartment was very clean and had everything you need to feel at home. It is located within walking distance of many lovely shops and restaurants in Port Isaac and is a short drive from many other “must see” areas in Cornwall. The host was always available to answer questions and was very helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend!

We started coming to Port Isaac over 25years ago and visited a few times every year, growing to love it more and more each time. We always dreamed of owning our own place in this beautiful spot and that dream came true when we bought the Jolly Boat, our much loved second home. We spend as much time as we can in this lovely little apartment and are very happy to share it with others when we can't be there ourselves.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We fell in love with the Jolly Boat because it was just what we were looking for as our little retreat. It is in a wonderful position - very close to both Port Isaac and Port Gaverne, but far enough out of the village to be quiet even in the height of summer. We had been looking for 'our place' for some time and we knew that we wanted privacy and - most important and difficult to come by in Port Isaac - private free parking directly outside. The apartment is perfect for two people - comfortable, light, and well equipped. Most of all we love to sit outside the front on a summer's evening and watch the sea. Perfect!
