Tanglewood Cottage ofrece alojamiento con cocina bien equipada, ideal para grupos grandes para explorar Dorset. Es parte de un granero de 200 años de antigüedad y de edificios de granja, dispuestos alrededor de un patio y contiguo a 9 acres de tierra accesible para nuestros huéspedes. El alojamiento cómodo y bien equipado tiene siete dormitorios, tres baños, una gran sala de estar y comedor y una cocina separada y bien equipada. Puertas francesas se abren al patio. Tanglewood también tiene uso exclusivo del área de Orchard.

The house was a bit cramped for 12 people but the weather was lovely and we really appreciated the use of the orchard for football. The location was good with plenty to do around within an hour's drive. Very impressed with Nothe Fort in Weymouth.

Cosy Escape

Perfect venue for a cosy week catching up with friends, we had been looking for somewhere large enough for all 10 of us to get together, play board games and have a film night! This was perfect! The dining table accomodated us all, as did the sofa! We also did all our own cooking and found the kitchen to be well equiped, (far more so than some professional kitchens weve used!) Will definitely be keeping this saved for future catch ups!!

Beautiful cottage, stunning views, excellent hosts! Perfect!

What a stunning cottage in the most beautiful area! And I cannot recommend Adrian and his daughter as hosts enough. The cottage was perfect for our family celebrations, had everything we needed, was very comfortable and clean with fans provided for the warmer nights too, bonus! Also noted heaps of extra blankets for colder months too, nice touch. And the views were beautiful! We were lucky to have full use of all the areas as we were the only guests, we chose the allocated farmhouse BBQ area and enjoyed a lovely evening there, although the Orchard proved to be a wonderful suntrap when the BBQ area fell into the shade. There is so much to do in the area too! The local towns and beaches are definately worth the visit! The biggest hit for everyone was the games room, if we werent enjoying the views we were playing pool! Could have easily spent a lot longer here, thank you Adrian and Jenny for being so amazing and accomodating for us! Highly recommended!! 5*

Annual Family Get-Together

Tanglewood proved an ideal venue for our get-together. The use of the orchard was a big hit, as was the games room. In an idyllic setting, Tanglewood made an excellent base from which to explore the area. Thanks to Adrian for a warm welcome. Highly recommended.

Summer Break

Property has a rural location. With lots of outdoor space and easy drive to beaches, and activities. Well equipped kitchen, bedrooms good, linen a bit old fashioned. The showers were a poor standard. Not enough water pressure, useful laundry room. Good for large family and children.

Tanglewood

We had a lovely week at Tanglewood, the Orchard was a great space for the children to run around, ride their bikes and play football. The cottage is a quirky place that was ample for all 10 of us. Owner was there to greet us and gave us some great tips and was helpful whenever we asked for some information. Enjoyed by all the family.

Beautiful location

The house was beautiful with everything needed for a big party. The directions that the owners gave us was great as it was the most direct route particularly for some of us travelling at night! Each room was a perfect fit for each of the age groups in our party. The outdoor spaces were safe for the children to run around outside freely and the games room brilliant for the big kids among us! We had lovely weather so able to use the bbq and outdoor dining space. The location was great with short drives to local seaside towns and beaches. Overall, we had a lovely stay and book again.

Stunning location and loads of space

Booked for a bank holiday weekend with family - 6 adults and 5 kids…. The property is in a lovely location (a few narrow roads) and gives great access to Bridport and coast. Rooms, dinning and outdoor space was great and we really enjoyed our stay

Christmas day

We stayed for 4 days over Christmas and it was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone and lots of surrounding land and lovely walks . The cottage was lovely and warm which we were concerned about prior but this was not a problem. Couple of small things such as showers were not very powerful and TV Reception was hit and miss but this didn’t affect how much we enjoyed our stay and we would definitely rebook! Games room also a massive bonus as we spent a lot of time in there. Beach literally 10 mins away- lots of local stuff to do so great location.

Beautiful views but the last 5 miles or so it was a single track road which was narrow.

Nice to have family under one roof but top floor very noisy when it rains.

Excellent Facilities with Excellent View

Ten friends and family enjoyed a long weekend in this very pretty location. Lots to see and do near by but we also made great use of the garden and pool room.

Excellent property and great location

Tanglewood Cottage was a fantastic property to reunite with some old university friends. The house was clean and provided us with plenty of space for board games around the table and relaxing on the sofa in the lounge. The outside dining table was lovely for the evening and we also used the orchard for a game of cricket. Local supermarkets were nearby (~10 mins) making it easy for food and drink supplies. Also had a lovely trip to the beach to enjoy an ice cream. Thank you Adrian and Sue for being amazing hosts for the weekend.

Lovely rambling cottage in a beautiful location. Adrian was super helpful throughout our stay, and fixed the gas canister for us so we could have a barbecue.

Just like home

We are a group of 12, 7 adults + 5 kids. The house is very clean, nice and comfy, didn’t wanna leave, beautiful views , and convenient location too. The horse feeding is a plus.

Really good value for money, excellent location.

Located in a very rural area away from it all. Lovely views and walks. Hosts always contactable and helpful. Able to charge our electric car. Suggestions for local pubs very good. House has everything you need. Access to washing machine and tumble driers really useful. Really nice outdoor spaces at property.

Having spent many happy holidays in Dorset with our two children we hoped that one day we would be able to make it our home. The moment we drove down the slope to the property and saw the spectacular valley and hill views we knew this was the place for us.
Our cottages are set above the quintessentially English village of West Milton and are ideal for relaxing, walking, cycling and exploring Dorset with its hidden treasures and we take advantage of this whenever possible.
We are lucky to have a large number of good village pubs close to us, many with interesting menus and with a policy of using fresh local produce whenever possible.

The self-catering holiday cottages are all part of a 200 year old converted barn and farm buildings, arranged around a courtyard. Whether you are looking for a getaway on your own, or with a big group, we have accommodation to suit.
The cottages are set in 9 acres and surrounded by the beautiful hills and valleys of this unspoilt part of West Dorset, which has been designated an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'.
