Everything about this property was spot on. From my initial booking to leaving the property. I had booked the house to celebrate the New Year. My party consisted of 6 adults and 2 children. The property is in a prime location and was easy to find. We used the garage the space at the side of the garage and the road to park our cars. All handy when it came to loading and unloading. The house is fantastic and was plenty big enough for 8 of us. The kitchen dining room is great for getting together to eat or just chill out on the sofa and the lounge was really big with a gorgeous bay window. The bedrooms were all spacious and my daughter loved her room with the free standing bath. The host had thought of everything and we really appreciated the welcome pack and the lovely Christmas tree in the lounge. There are plenty of places in the village to eat and drink with the added bonus of an amazing beach just a five minute walk away. This is a great house beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need for your stay and I cannot praise it enough. We will definitely be returning.

Better than the Photographs

This is a beautiful cottage, 8 of use stayed here ranging in ages from 13 to 76 and everyone had a lovely time. The cottage is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The facilities are excellent and we had everything we needed to be able to cook for 8 people on the days we didn't eat out. There are several pubs very close but we didn't hear any noise from any of them when inside the cottage. I can thoroughly recommend this property.

Nice break away.

Just back from our stay and the cottage was lovely, spacious, very clean and comfortable. Had everything you would need and only couple of minutes easy walk to beach. Few downsides, first garden is not secure for children or dogs (no gate) and needed some tlc. Secondly although there is parking it is difficult if you have a larger car. Thirdly it does not state on the website that there is a fish and chip restaurant/takeaway next door and you can hear the large extractor fan in the garden and you also get the smell so not nice if you wanted to relax in the garden.

Not very Clean

Although the cleanliness of the property was appalling when arriving, when we got in touch with the owner there was good communication and the outcome was satisfactory. Great Location. We hired the house for our 40th wedding anniversary. Nice house but needs to sort out a decent management company.

Perfect base for the Northumberland coast

Beautiful cottage in the heart of Alnmouth. Very well equipped, and warm and cosy for those autumnal Northumberland evenings. Everything on your doorstep. The beach a short walk away. Pubs even shorter walk away. Perfect.

Comfortable house in a lovely location

Littlecroft was comfortable and well-equipped for our family of 7 spanning 3 generations. A lovely neighbourhood with a range of wonderful local beaches, close to attractions in Northumberland and in distance of cities such as Newcastle. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider returning in the future.

Well positioned and attractive

Enjoyed our stay had to be careful not to bang heads in one or two places though. Situated in village center, only a short walk from all village amenities and attractions. Would recommend.

Absolutely Amazing!!!!

Wow! We have just returned from a fantastic stay at the cottage, everything about it was perfect from the lovely welcome hamper, the fabulous decor, the lovely spacious rooms, the fabulous sun trap garden, off street parking, proximity to the pubs and the fabulous beach..., it was beyond our expectations and we can’t thank the hosts enough for everything. Communication was excellent, the property was amazing as soon as we walked in we felt at home. We will definitely return and have already recommended to several people - just hope we can still book in ourselves!! 😂 Thanks again for a fantastic stay!

Wonderful, attentive hosts.

We arrived very early because we wanted to stream the online memorial service for a close friend. Our host went out of her way to make this possible. At our request, she also supplied a BBQ, with which the property would not normally be equipped. We did have one very minor problem, which was attended to promptly and efficiently. An excellent stay!

Lovely Littlecroft

We arrived to a thoughtfully put together welcome hamper, really appreciated and from that point on our stay has been lovely. The cottage was lovely, clean and spacious and contained everything we needed for a great stay. It was in a great location in the heart of the village.

Comfortable Cottage in great location

We had a lovely stay in a lovely place that is well equipped and very much like home from home. In a central location in the village with great access to the beach and all local amenities. We enjoyed some lovely walks in the area and a lovely time on the beach with the family. A truly lovely time. We would love to return.

Very Enjoyable

For 4 guys golfing and fishing this was an ideal property for lots of courses around and about, and the river Aln. Plenty of space for us all and our gear, and The Red Lion and Sun pub so close for us to talk about those missed puts and the fish that got away. What more could you want?

Mainly great

A clean, excellently positioned house that easily suited our party. A couple of tiny niggles that just took the edge off the week: I’m quite tall and there are low ceilings in a couple of places, ouch; the garden isn’t secure it then it didn’t claim to be. The private parking although tight was a real boon in this crowded village.

Lovely cottage

Excellent accommodation, pictures do not do it justice! Cottage is in ideal position for amenities in Alnmouth and short drive to Alnwick. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Great location and well appointed

We had a great time at in our cottage in Alnmouth which is positioned on the high street near to all pubs restaurants and facilities. The cottage is very smartly decorated and well furnished. We did have an issue with the internet which is common I understand as it gets a weak signal but it was working for all of us eventually. Sasha did his best to help asap.
