Great place

It’s a great place to stay with the family and older teenagers with the annex. Very relaxing and lots of fun on the beach.

Lovely home

Had a lovely stay in this beautiful home. Lovely location and everything you would need including comfortable beds and lots of space inside and out. Will definitely book again.

Fantastic location, plenty of room for our extended family and a lovely garden too.

Really lovely property. The decor isn’t as modern as some we’ve stayed in but the beds were really comfy and there was a lot of space with the annex and large garden. Easy access to the beach just a short walk away. The property really feels homely.

Thank you for your review. We are working on moderating the property and last year we replaced all of the bathrooms in the bungalow and re-decorated. We are glad you enjoyed your stay.

Good location

Spacious, close to the beach property with good amenities . Children enjoyed the beach however the sea did not suit small children due to the current and stones under the water. Good for experienced surfers. Convenient cafe near the beach and shops/ supermarkets in Bude only a short drive away.

Widemouth is a favourite family destination for us. Fabulous house and location, perfect for the beach holiday we wanted. Black Rock beach was the right end of the beach to be this summer due to the sizeable stones on the northern end of the bay this year. Great to have the additional outdoor shower for rinsing off, and generous seating in the living room meant that we didn't feel on top of each other when we were all in there.

Wonderful house, location & weather a bonus.

We couldn't have asked for more, when we arrived our first impression was the photos don't do it justice. Inside we were even more surprised, the pace and the feel of the house was great, the house was clean and warm and all of the info left by Sharon (including the wine) was much appriceated . The garden & annex were also amazing, I would recommend to both friends and relatives.Thankyou for an amazing week and would love to stay here again. Tina, Micky & Zeus.

Very pleasant stay at a beautiful location

A very nice house, with everything you need to have a pleasant holiday. Very close to the beach, and directly connected to the coast path (recommended is the walk to the south, to Crackington Haven. It's not an easy walk but definitely worth the effort). Shops are close enough (in Bude) and there is a lot to do and be seen in the aera. The owner is friendly and responds very quickly when contacted. During our stay the washing machine broke down, and a day later a new one was already installed. That's great service! We definitely recommend a stay at this property!

Wonderful family holiday

Lovely property, very spacious which gives you space to be together and space to have quiet time alone. Very well equipped with everything you need for a large family group. We were very impressed with the comfort of the beds, lovely bed linen and towels. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with a large amount of crockery, glasses and cooking equipment. The garden was very large, which our fur baby really enjoyed, the games room was much appreciated by the children aged 9, 10 & 11. The closeness to the beach, which meant cars were not needed after we arrived. All in all a fabulous holiday home which none of us wanted to leave. Am sure we will be back sometime in the future.

Great place

This was our 3rd visit. The house and annex fits our needs exactly with enough space for growing teenagers to bring friends and still have space to relax.

1 The Mallows was perfect for our family stay. A perfect sized property with plenty of room for us all. A well equipped kitchen to make family meals for 10. The location of the property was perfect for the sea and only a short walk to a cafe and pub/restaurant. I would highly recommend this property.

Great location and property for all the family

It was a great holiday property for our whole family. It was very spacious and great to have the facilities of the annex. The pool table and garage with extra fridge, wetsuits, surfboards etc was great! The garden was wonderful for our kids (12, 9, 7 and 6) to run around safely and play football. We had a wondeful stay anf the location was ideal to explore Bude, Port Isaac and Tintagel. Thank you.

A WONDERFUL FIND!

We had a fabulous holiday at the Mallows. The property was spacious, clean and in a brilliant location by the beach. Our children are late teens/early 20's and they loved staying in the annex which was a lovely surprise addition that we were not expecting. It was a real home from home and we felt comfortable as soon as we arrived. A week wasn't long enough and we were sad to leave. Would definitely recommend and we would not hesitate to book this house again.

Fantastic Holiday !!!

What can you say but, WOW, AWESOME !!!! This property has everything you could wish for in a holiday home, despite the fact that covid 19 restrictions were in place and have changed the way the owners can present the property, in no way what so ever did you realise it. Clean, tidy and very, very spacious best describe 1The Mallows (the recent renovation the owners have carried out were excellent), the outdoor space of the huge secure gardens that comes with this property are amazing, our two dogs loved exploring them. With the beach just across road and dunes, there was no excuse to not visit it every night to dip yours toes in the ocean (or go for a swim in the dogs case) and then watch the beautiful sunsets. All in all, an excellent holiday at an excellent location, that sadly went to quickly, but without a doubt we will definitely be back. Thank you Sharon and the team :)

Great property in a fantastic location.

Lots of space. Has all the facilities required. Location cannot be questioned...only minutes to the beach, cafes and bars / restaurants. Would definitely recommend it and would definitely stay again. Beach equipment to borrow is a bonus and well appreciated. Wifi and internet connection better than at home!
