Lovely well equipped apartment in a great location

We had a great holiday. The apartment was modern, clean and well equipped. A minute walk from a lovely pool area and 10- 15 min walk from a handful of restaurants, supermarket and bar. Highlight of the holiday for the children was the mini disco onsite - 4 nights per week in the summer holidays!

2 bed ground floor apartment in Mar Menor Golf Resort

Our experience was mixed, some pros some cons. We travelled as 3 families, each 2 ads and 3 ch. Because of this we saw another 2 bed and a 3 bed. These were both superiorly equipped to ours. Ours was obviously equipped to rent which was fine but we found a few things lacking. We booked for 3 wks .We had hoped to have BBQ's but there was no BBQ available. Fortunately the other 2 apartments both had BBQ's but we couldn't BBQ ourselves and as we were there for 3 wks we felt this would have been a great addition especially as the dining options on site are limited. We had no real issues with the apartment, it had air con, lots of cooking appliances and utensils, a washing machine and dishwasher. The oven only had a single tray and no shelves/racks so it was difficult to cook a meal for 5 ppl at times e.g. couldn't cook 2 pizzas at once. But other than that it was well stocked with plenty of glasses etc We were a family of 5 and booked as such. The pull out bed on the couch was teeny tiny . No way anyone older than a child could sleep on it. Also, there are no outside shutters on the sliding doors so it was v bright from early if you are someone that needs darkness like myself to sleep. Loungers need to be brought to the pool which was fine but there were only 2 for 5 of us, one of which was broken. However, we communicated this and another lounger was promptly delivered to us. But if you were having a party of 4 adults here you would be restricted. Just an FYI , and maybe sth the owner might have overlooked. We felt there should have been 4. We also had a pretty bad ant problem whilst we were there and when we communicated it we were told it's just the season. We had to purchase our own products and I was constantly sweeping, mopping and hoovering in efforts to resolve the problem, not something you really want to be doing on holidays. All in all, the apartment was absolutely fine but we felt a few extras could elevate it. A cheap capsule coffee maker(missed our cappucinos), a BBQ and more loungers would be ideal. Also, some general info on the area such as dining options as the food in the hotel is v poor and local places of interest would be a great addition. Marijke responded to all queries immediately and we couldn't fault her. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future.

Stayed for a week in Aug and everything from start to finish was great. Excellent access to the communal pool which was close enough to be easily accessible but far enough away to not inconvenience anyone. Fantastic view of the lake, golf course and resort. Supermarket was well stocked. In summary an excellent value place to stay and we want to book again. Terry

Beautiful apartment and well equipped

Gorgeous apartment with everything you need. Lovely quiet aircon for nights, pool only 100yards away, fabulous views of the golf course. A beautiful quiet area of the resort to relax and enjoy your holiday.

Attractive apartment with morning suntrap provided a memorable stay in Mar Menor

As a first time visitor to Mar Menor (or any golf resort in Spain), I was impressed by the range of amenities throughout the resort and how neat and tidy it was. The apartment itself was well presented and perfect for my wife and I and our two young children. The patio was a brilliant suntrap, especially in the morning, with views out over the golf course and lake. All in all, a wonderful week of sunshine!

Beautiful apartment

Lovely modern, spacious Ground Floor apartment fully equipped. Large terrace with great views of the golf couse. Upon arrival, Sergio showed us round the apartment, very helpful and friendly. Would definitively return. Had a great holiday.

beautiful well-equipped apartment

The apartment has everything you need for a good, relaxing holiday. It's modern, clean, well-equipped and the terrace provides you with a beautiful view over the golf course . Upon arrival Sergio showed us the apartment and explained how everything works. If we had any questions, we could always contact him. Very friendly, helpful man! Unlike we're used to on holiday, the beds were very comfortable. We slept like Sleeping Beauty! The wifi was stable and fast, I had no problems using Skype and browsing the internet. The resort itself is well maintained and there are lots of things to do(fitness, aerobics, wellness, golf,...). There are lots of places of interest nearby like the beaches of Mar Menor , the coastal city Cartagena and many more. We had a splendid holiday and we'll surely come back next year!

There is all possibility here: you have the wonderfull resort, spacy apartment and terrace, different pools, different restaurants and shop in the resort, the sea is nearby, you can do all sorts of sport, there are many shopping aereas, there are many towns to visit witg the typically spanish way of life and culture, there is a very good eat culture. The climate weather is wonderfull.

Quiet area on golf course. Wonderful vieuw on lake of the golf. Real spanish life at Mar Menor Los Alcazares at 10 min drive with beautiful beaches.
