Wir waren mit 13 Freunden und Freundinnen in der Ferienwohnung und hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit. Die Lage ist traumhaft mit einer großartigen Aussicht, und besonders der Pool, der Whirlpool und die Sauna haben unseren Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht. Auch die Unterkunft selbst war sehr gemütlich und gut ausgestattet.Der Gastgeber war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – er hat uns sogar ein tolles Restaurant empfohlen, das Freunden von ihm gehört. Dort haben wir hervorragend gegessen. Alles in allem eine absolute Empfehlung, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Wie im Paradies

Wir hatten mit unserer Großfamilie eine wunderschöne Woche in der Villa Belvedere ! Es war sehr heiß, der tolle Swimmingpool hat uns gerettet. Roberto ist ein super Gastgeber und hat uns auch im Vorfeld perfekt betreut. Empfehlenswert ist ein Dinner mit Patrizia und Stefano, lasst euch verwöhnen. Unbedingt Fliegenmittel mitnehmen, denn die sind äußerst fies ! Nächstes Jahr soll eine Klimaanlage in die Villa eingebaut werden.

A Beautiful Stay with Room for Improvement

We enjoyed a two-week stay at this VRBO property in early October 2023, enamored by the house's beauty and the scenic area. However, some improvements could refine the guest experience. The title boasts an outdoor jacuzzi, but with solar panel heating, the water didn’t surpass 80°F (27°C). Missing a backup heating system, it felt less like a 'hot tub', especially since it was a key factor in our selection. Although the listing promises both a washer and dryer, the latter was missing. Roberto, our host, kindly dried our laundry, but we value self-sufficiency in such matters. The advertised internet was underwhelming, with speeds at a meager 4.74 Mbps download and 0.39 Mbps upload. We resorted to a 5G hotspot from WiTourist, an additional $100/week cost, which luckily served our work needs well. Another hiccup was the absence of bug screens on some windows, leading to nighttime mosquito bites for a few guests. On the positive side, Roberto's hospitality shone through. When we found faulty fans, he promptly replaced them. He also offered invaluable airport drop-offs for an added fee. Mid-stay, a delightful tiramisu from Roberto's family graced our table, accompanying fantastic recommendations like Frescobaldi winery visits, Patricia's cooking lessons, and an unforgettable truffle hunting adventure. Conclusively, this property holds promise. My critique aims for constructive progress, not dismissal. I trust Roberto will heed this feedback.

The most wonderful Vacation ever

This property is so amazing, authentic and so much peace and beauty in one place. Roberto was amazing. Perfect host, you could ask about anything and he took care of it. Overall a very special week. Thank you for this place and thank you Roberto.

Amazing Experience

Our family had the best time! Our host Roberto was awesome. He was responsive before the stay and checked on us daily once we arrived. He answered my calls once we arrived at the property and took care of any questions/issues immediately. Roberto also gave us suggestions for restaurants, activities and sights to see. He was truly so helpful and gracious. The property is breathtaking and and the house was set up to allow us to spend time together and also have some privacy. We would definitely visit again.

Das hatten wir erhofft

Das Haus hat eine wunderbare Alleinlage mit wunderschönem Ausblick. Die Anlage ist sehr großzügig und sauber. Unsere Gastgeber Roberto war jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns Tipps für Ausflüge, Essen usw. den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gestaltet. Er ist wirklich herausragend. Zu erwähnen sind auch die großzügigen Schlafzimmer mit den sehr schönen Badezimmern. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Perfecto!

I'm always a bit skeptical about pics on platforms like VRBO because of deceptive angles, lighting, fisheye lens, etc.. I can honestly say the pics of this place, while gorgeous, do not do this villa justice. EVERYTHING was stunningly beautiful! The rooms are huge and the pool is actually bigger than it looks in the pictures, and Roberto is out there cleaning it every morning to ensure it stays pristine. To say this place is well maintained is an understatement. It was a perfect get-away that is isolated enough to allow for privacy, but close enough to groceries, trains, and restaurants to make everything convenient. If a vacation stay in a Tuscan Villa is on your bucket-list, don't pass up the opportunity to book this place. It's perfecto!

Absolut entspannend

Unheimlich saubere, gepflegte Villa in herrlicher Lage mit absolut freundlichem und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber. Besonders empfehlenswert ist ein Abendessen im L'Aia di Martino, nur ca. 1 km von der Villa, das unser Gastgeber für uns organisiert hat.

Smukke og idylliske Il Belvedere

Vi havde en dejlig familieferie i det smukke toscanske landskab og i Roberto smukke have og udearealer. Vi var 9voksne og 7børn i alderen 1 til 9 år. Vi nød stedet med pool og jacuzzi og den store toscanske villa med god plads til alle. Vi havde besøg af Stefano og Patrizia, en fornøjelig aften. Roberto er den fuldendte vært og var behjælpelig med ture i omegnen. Vi kan varmt anbefale dette unikke sted. Et varmt tak for en dejlig ferie.

Very nice, spacious and clean house

We stayed at Roberto’s house from 19.9.-26.9. with a group of 10 people. It was a very nice stay. Roberto showed us everything at the check in. Everything was clean and tidy. Especially we enjoyed the combination of pool and whirlpool, which gets cleaned and prepared every morning. Would definitely recommend this house for a stay with friends, especially because of the size of the property.

Tolle Aussicht, schöner Pool, Haus mit Abstrichen

Wir hatten als Gruppe von 9 Erwachsenen und 7 Kindern eine schöne Zeit in der Toskana. Vor allem der gepflegte Pool hatte es den Kindern angetan, den Erwachsenen eher die Aussicht. Leider war es in der oberen Etage sehr warm und durch eine hohe Anzahl an Mücken das Lüften (trotz z.T. Fliegengittern) nicht einfach... Der Vermieter ist super nett, allerdings kommt eine saftige Nebenkosten-Rechnung zu dem Mietpreis dazu (bei uns knapp 700 € insg.). Das Haus war auch nicht tip top gepflegt, Elektrik, Gasherd und andere Kleinigkeiten sind hier zu nennen, die Bäder sind allerdings alle neu und schön.

Fantastisk plass!

Vi var tre familier som tilbragte en uke i juli på denne fantastiske plassen. Flott bassengområde for både store og små, og stort flott hus med gode fasiliteter. Ligger for seg selv i vakre omgivelser, og med gode lokale restauranter i ca 1km avstand. Hyggelig, hjelpsom og imøtekommende husvert som bor like i nærheten. Takk for oss!

Beautiful

I stayed at the villa for a week in June 2018. We were a group of 12 travelling without children. The villa is in an idyllic location, overlooking the gorgeous Tuscan countryside. There are multiple outdoor seating areas large enough to accommodate 12 + people so you can take in the view and generally enjoy outside living. There is a swimming pool with a diving board, table football, jacuzzi, and a small indoor sauna. The inside of the villa is spread over 3 levels with stone steps throughout (would not be suitable for anyone with mobility problems). Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor (both with ensuites). There are living areas on the ground and 1st floors with tables to accommodate large groups. The furniture/interior is not luxurious but perfectly adequate and comfortable. The villa is well situated to explore Tuscany, with Borgo San Lorenzo being 40mins to Florence by train. Roberto (owner) lives in the next villa along, and he pops along early each morning to clean the pool and water the garden. Roberto was kind enough to make recommendations about things to do, and gave us 2 bottles of his homemade wine to try and a giant tiramisu. Roberto speaks good English. As the advert states, the gas/electric/tourist tax/cleaning fee is in addition to the hire costs. The total for these extras for our group was 525 euros (mostly made up of gas and electric costs). This was more than i was expecting to pay, but between 12 adults wasn't too painful. Despite this, I would recommend the villa wholeheartedly because it is idyllic, and worth the money. If you can, ask Roberto about booking the chefs Patrizia and Stefano to come and demonstrate how to make pasta. It was a wonderful evening- they taught us about italian cooking and then served us a 3 course meal whilst we sat in the garden. I would definitely return to Belvedere given the opportunity.
