This is a lovely house in the Umbrian hills above the Tiber River. The house was in excellent condition and everything worked very well- hot water, heat, lights, water system, etc. We did not use the pool because it was too cool, but it is a beautiful pool with an outdoor shower and pool chairs. Francesca, the coordinataor was very accessible and very helpful with initial settling in and with questions and information during our stay. I would definitely recommend it for others. The town of Trestina is qute close so that one has the advantage of being in the beautful countryside without being isolated.

Wonderful stay in Tuscany

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the Tuscan countryside. We took several day trips to wineries and great restaurants. Our host Francesca made our stay just what we expected. We would definitely return to this beautiful villa.

Had a wonderful stay! The house had everything we needed and the pool and garden area were amazing and very well looked after. Owners kindly dropped off a hamper of local goodies. Great choice for a relaxing break.

Stunning Place

This property is wonderful and the pictures don’t do it justice. The outside and pool is perfect. The owners and Francesca were so nice and helpful, and we received a lovely welcome with nice produce. Near by town of Trestina has all you need including two good size supermarkets. The local towns of Montone and Citta Di Castello were lovely. As was old town Arrezo. We would love to come back.

A wonderful stay in Umbria.

We had a very peaceful week in this lovely traditional house with amazing views and beautiful grounds. The house was spotless, with a well-stocked kitchen, and had everything we needed to make the most of our time. Francesca was easy to communicate with before and during our stay. Upon arrival, there was a basket of local food in the kitchen. A couple of days later, we found a gift of the owner's wine, olive oil, and limoncello on the covered patio! (All were excellent!)We never wanted to leave the property, but we did and enjoyed some of the towns in Umbria.Thank you for sharing your house with us and for making us feel welcome.

Het verblijf is schitterend gelegen, rustig, ruim, heerlijke overdekt terras, goede gastheer, altijd snel met hun hulp en reacties, binnen iet wat gedateerd, maar echt Italiaans. Badkamers zouden wat luxer mogen, maar verder alles een dikke 10.

A beautiful place to stay

The villa was excellent and the pool and grounds are stunning. It truly is an amazing place to relax and unwind. The owners keep the place immaculate and were very generous with welcome gifts and Frances is extremely helpful as a contact for any help or advice you need. It is a drive to reach many of the places you might wish to visit but the place is easy to get to and very peaceful and private. We would certainly recommend the place - everything you could wish for.

Fantastic!!!!

The online add was not sufficient. We've traveled to several luxury villas but this is the best house we ever visited! The house is very spacious (far more than the add stated). The gardens and the infinity pool are kept in splendid condition. Every morning between 6 am and 7 am the gardener comes to clean the pool and water the plants. You never hear him. No bother at all. The views are splendid: half up on a hill with grand views on the hills in front of us. More than enough space for the dog to frolic around, including down the hill. It must be a view acres, but at the end the whole terrain is closed. As a result the dog can run free through the hill and to a watering place to swim but without being able to leave the property. On our request we had a chef to prepare us a meal. It was delightful and he was willing to give his recipes, so we can make it ourselves. the quality was splendid. One evening, looking at the hills, I realized that I couldn't remember the last time I felt so peaceful. We will surely go back!

Un coin de campagne italienne paisible

Nous avons profité de cette maison en famille en août et tout le monde a apprécié. La maison est spacieuse et bien équipée : bonne literie, climatisation, mobilier d'extérieur en quantité suffisante pour manger dehors ou profiter du soleil autour de la piscine. Celle ci est de belle taille et á débordement ce qui fait son petit effet quand on contemple le paysage en se prélassant sur son bord ! La propriété est situé au calme mais il faut moins de 15 min pour rejoindre une petite ville avec tous les commerces utiles. Pour finir, les propriétaires sont des gens très accueillants et sympathiques et attentifs à votre confort. Bref, il s'agit pour nous d'un très bon souvenir et nous serons heureux d'y retourner.

Absolut Unglaublich

Wir (2 Familien mit jeweils 2 erwachsenen Kindern und einem Hund) waren vom 03.06. bis 17.06.2017 in der Villa. Es war alles mindestens so wie in der Beschreibung und wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt absolut fantastisch inmitten der Natur und denoch sind es mit dem Auto nur 5 Minuten bis zum nächsten Ort wo man alles bekommt.

Beautiful villa, great location

This Villa was perfect, you feel like you are in the middle of no where but it is so easy to get to town as well as beautiful visiting places. Our group consisted of 4 Adults and 2 children (both under 5) and we had plenty of room. The villa is very clean and well maintained. A welcome pack with some instructions plus maybe some recommended places to visit/eat out would be useful for guests. We would recommend a visit to Montone as its stunning. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a fantasitc holiday in Villa Paterna. It's a lovely villa in a peaceful setting with good access to many places of interest. The infinity pool is fun for the kids, if a bit chilly at times for the grown ups. The villa is beautifully decorated, pristine and very spacious inside.The kitchen is very well equipped and there is the possibility of an in house chef as well who was very friendly and helpful. If we'd stayed longer we definitely would have made use of this. The twin room is probably best for a couple of kids rather than sharing adults..

Spacious villa in beautiful peaceful location

Lovely location for a restful family holiday. Comfortable, well maintained villa with plenty of space and fabulous pool with stunning views. Helpful and attentive owners. Shops and restaurants within a few minutes drive and many historic towns within striking distance. Highly recommended.

A lovely place

My family and I spent a lovely 2 weeks holiday there in August 2014. The house is lovely furnished and has all facilities. The infinity pool is so close to the house, just a few steps from the living room, the garden is very well maintained and the location is the best one could wish at just 5 km from the village but in a very paceful green place. We will be back! Thanks to Simonetta for her delicious meals.
