Villa independiente para hasta 6 personas ubicada en una colina panorámica a poca distancia de Palaia, un bonito casco antiguo con restaurantes (1. 5kms). Fácil de conducir (camino pavimentado hasta el final) y céntrico para explorar las principales ciudades: Florencia (1 hora y 15 minutos en coche o tren). 5 Terre aproximadamente 2 horas. Lucca, las playas de Versilia y Pisa a menos de 1 hora en coche. La estación de tren de Pontedera (a menos de 30 minutos en coche) es una gran escapada a las principales ciudades. Estás ubicado en la zona de producción de vino de Valdera, donde puedes disfrutar visitando las bodegas. Le daremos toda la información que necesita.

La villa es apreciada por todo tipo de huéspedes, incluidas las familias con niños pequeños, debido a su total tranquilidad y privacidad y al no ser remota. Estamos ubicados en una zona residencial tranquila y pequeña. Su área de comedor al aire libre y su piscina dan a las vistas panorámicas.

Una gran piscina (14 mx 7 m, 1,5 m de profundidad) está equipada con tumbonas y sombrillas y está abierta de mayo a septiembre (es posible que se realicen extensiones; consulte al momento de la reserva).

Una barbacoa se encuentra por la zona de comedor al aire libre amueblado frente a la piscina para sus comidas al aire libre con una vista!

A petición tenemos una cuna y silla alta y aceptamos mascotas siempre y cuando no están capacitados para la suciedad del jardín.

Magnificent

Excellent stay, top villa, top pool, nice people around you. Siena, Lucca, Florence and Pisa, cities with beauty, nice places to visit. Palaia, nice restaurants, lovely little hilltown. Lovely landscape to bike in, good hills. Everything 5 stars, we will bw back :-)

Beautiful villa and pool

Had a lovely stay in June 2023, lovely house very spacious for the four of us. Pool is quit big so great for having a swim. Close to Palaia but would need a car, village is lovely with narrow streets and clocktower, a few good restaurants, reasonable priced. With a car easy to travel around Touscan as about an hour north to Pisa and Florence and an hour south to Siena with plenty in between.

Tuscan views!

This was our first holiday abroad with our two boys aged 7 and 11. The villa is very clean and is well equipped. The beds were very comfy and the pool was a massive hit with the children! It was a great size and the sun loungers and plentiful seating areas outside allowed you to really appreciate the magnificent views surrounding the property. The check in was well organised and the owner, Giordano kindly brought us fresh peaches one morning which were delicious! Palaia- the nearest small village is a good 10 minute walk up a main road. ( be aware you have to walk on the road but we found it easy enough to do - just take care with children) The traffic on the road isn’t too busy and we walked with our children both daytime and early evening- a torch is handy. Palaia itself has a pub, a few small food shops and a great cafe/ice cream parlour which had a lovely atmosphere. It is very much a true Tuscan village and we were able to do a basic shop there. We visited Pisa, Sam Gimignano Lucca -all within an hours drive and were also able to see Andrea Bocelli in concert! This was our first visit to Tuscany and will definitely be returning! All in all a great property and lovely garden which is secure for young children.

Schon geflasht bei der Ankunft...

Die Villa ist bei der Ankunft an einer Stelle schon von weitem zu sehen - und man glaubt gar nicht, dass es wirklich das gebuchte Haus ist. Echt beeindruckend! Kommunikation mit Giordano und Serena waren ausgesprochen freundlich und unproblematisch! Ein zusätzlicher Extrawunsch wurde unkompliziert und schnell erfüllt! Echt eine Empfehlung wert!

Wieder zurück in Palaia

Wir waren bereits 2019 in Palaia. Daher kannten wir die Gegend und auch das Haus. Dann kam Corona und selbst wenn wir hätten fahren können, hätte es auf Grund der vielen unsinnigen Einschränkungen kein Spaß gemacht. So haben wir nach den drei Jahren wieder alles so wunderbar vorgefunden wie im Jahr 2019. Auch unsere Stammlokale haben die Einschränkungen der letzten drei Jahre überstanden und wir haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke Giordano und Serena für die Gastfreundschaft. Beautiful villa and setting

The villa is clean, has everything you need in an amazing setting. We sat and watched the sunset most nights. The pool is large and cleaned every day. It is within an hours drive of everywhere you would want to visit and only 35 mins to Pisa Airport. The owner is accommodating and friendly, bringing us fresh peaches. I would highly recommend this villa.

Séjour paisible dans la campagne Toscane

Villa bien située pour visiter, propriétaire très sympathique et à l'écoute. Les pièces disposent de beaucoup de rangement, la piscine est gigantesque et surtout la vue est magnifique sur la campagne Toscane. La literie est ferme. Avons pu admirer les couchers de soleil. Dans le petit Village de Palaia il y a de nombreux restaurants, bars, et petits commerces très sympathiques. Avons passé un très agréable séjour. A refaire.

Tuscany at its best!

Villa Montevizzano is a lovely place to stay. The house is large, well-equipped and furnished with style. Only the shower hoses need to be exchanged. The 270 degree free view from the terrace over the hills is absolutely fantastic and relaxing. Giordano the owner is a very friendly and polite man and Serena who assists him is open for all questions in advance. They provide you with an digital booklet of tours and restaurants to the surrounding. The pool is larger than some hotel pools and is taken care of every day. We look forward to returning to Villa Montevizzano in the future.

360 view from your own Tuscan Hill - tranquility and beauty

We enjoyed our stay in Palaia in this beautiful home. The location is fantastic, on the end of a road, on your own little hill with a 360 view of the Tuscan hills and Pisan Mountains in the far. The pool is very well kept (spic span clean, every morning) and rather large. Sunning area with beds is very spacious. Practical house with 2 bathrooms. The owner is super friendly, check in and communication was excellent, also the service during the stay was perfect. Palaia, Montofoscoli, Colleoli, all very sympathic little mountain villages. There are trails for hiking in the mountains (make sure you have patience finding them, and mosquito repellent with you) that take you through local olive orchards and vineyards, Beautiful. Make sure you visit Bacciomeo restaurant in Palaia in a fantastic old villa - excellent kitchen (good value for money) and the local pizzeria has perfect pizza's as well.

We had the best stay here, the pictures don’t do it justice for how amazing it is! Magical views. Serena & Cinzia both extremely helpful! Some of the negative reviews made me worried what to expect but they weren’t true/have been adjusted. So sad to leave- we will be back!

Toscane met de famile

Veel goede zaken, huis is met zorg ingericht maar we misten wel een aantal zaken en/of hadden beter verwacht: Bedden zijn te kort en niet comfortabel Derde slaapkamer was echt heel klein en het bed niet geschikt voor een Nederlander Eettafel stoelen zaten echt niet goed Iedere dag heel veel insecten in het zwembad in de middag Misten een veranda aan de kant van het zwembad Geen horren voor de ramen maar wel veel muggen Geen koffiezet apparaat waar je voor 6 mensen koffie mee kan maken, alleen cafetieres Barbecue was erg fijn en goed Keuken verder ook voldoende spullen

Bella Toscana in Palaia

Phantastische Villa perfekt für Paare und auch mit Hund. Am Grundstück und der Villa fehlt es an nichts. Das Haus hat einen unverbauten Blick über die Toskana und garantiert absolute Ruhe, trotz der Nähe zu Palaia. Ausstattung im Haus und der Garten mit Pool waren für uns wie zu Hause ankommen, gepflegt und sehr sauber.

Tuscany Getaway

This property was in a beautiful setting, about a 10 minute drive to grocery and other Tuscan villages. A 45-60 minute drive to many destination spots - Florence, Lucca, Pisa, San Giamiagno, Sienna and Cinque de Terre (2 hrs). Those were the places we visited, highly recommend a winery for truffle hunting, tastings, dinner/lunch, horse back riding and by far the best Chianti's, atmosphere and family that run the business....TenutaTorciano and not too far from House. If it's warm weather the pool would be great - it was cold while we were there. Enjoy and couple of restaurants you could technically walk to, because they are close enough but the roads are very narrow for walking and cars driving by --up to you!

Tolle Lage, sehr sauberes Haus aber viele unnötige Mängel

Das Haus (BJ 2005) war sehr sauber und trotz Hundeerlaubnis konnten wir nicht festzustellen, dass dort schon einmal Hunde waren. Schöne Umgebung und super Lage. Seit dem Bau ist leider wenig in den Erhalt der Kundenzufriedenheit investiert worden. Die Küche ist erneuerungsbedürftig, es fand sich nicht ein scharfes Messer im Bestand, das Bügelbrett steht nicht von alleine und ist kaum zu nutzen. Beim unteren Korb der Spülmaschine fehlten fast alle Laufrollen, so dass er immer rein und raus gehoben werden musste. Das war offenbar schon länger bekannt aber stört die Besitzer nicht nachhaltig. Im Poolbereich fehlen leider schon viele Fliesen und er ist die letzten zwei Tage nicht mehr gereinigt worden, was aber täglich nötig ist. Die Duschen sind unnötig klein. Duschköpfe und Perlatoren durch Kalk nur noch eingeschränkt funktionstüchtig. Auf den Sofas kann man sitzen aber zu zweit den Abend genießen kann man nicht. Es fehlen Relaxstühle im Außenbereich, der Terrassentisch ist vergammelt und die Stühle max. 10 Minuten bequem. Leider ist der Poolbereich deutlich einsehbarer als es die Bilder vermitteln. Durch zwei Bäumchen und ein paar geschickt platzierte Büsche wäre das Problem schnell ausgeräumt. Der Heizkörper neben der unteren Toilette ist stark angerostet. Das kann von schlechtem Lüften, offenem Fenster bei Regen oder hyperaktiven Stehpinklern kommen. Wenn hin und wieder ein wenig Farbe aufgebracht würde, käme niemand auf die 3. Variante. Glücklicherweise hatten wir nur in den letzten zwei Tagen und Nächten Wind, da wir in dieser Zeit kaum ein Auge zubekommen haben. Rund ums/im Haus hat es laute, nicht definierbare Geräusche gegeben (Dachpfannen? Anbauteile? oder was auch immer) die sehr störend waren. Die Hunde haben häufig angeschlagen was der Nachtruhe auch nicht förderlich war. Wir haben den Fernseher zwar nicht benutzt aber es ist unnötig und unverständlich wenn dort nur italienisches Kabelfernsehen angeboten wird. Für das internationale Publikum ist eine Satellitenanlage definitiv Standard und nicht nur Eltern dürften es zu schätzen wissen wenn man bei Regenwetter auf die heimischen Programme zurückgreifen könnte.

fantastic villa and pool

We had a fabulous 10 days in this wonderful villa. The pool was huge and amazing. The views were stunning and we saw some incredible sunsets. The owners were so helpful and the local village had everything you needed and is only a 10 minute walk away.The village also has a great pub/bar and two fantastic restaurants. The villa was ideally situated for visiting Florence, Pisa, Lucca and Sienna. We also did the local wine tasting which was really interesting. The whole experience in the villa was so relaxing and we would definitely come back.again

Wonderful villa

Lovely villa with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Best night sleep I've had in a villa! Pool was a great size and the views were fab. Palaia was nice to go into on an evening bit I wouldn't recommend walking as the streets were quite narrow. We enquired about a taxi but it would have been €70 due to the location

Fabulous stay in a great villa

We loved our two-week stay at Villa Montevizzano with four adults and two teenage children. The pool was huge, the outside furniture meant that all six of us were comfortable and the two terraces meant we could be in or out of the sun all day long. Inside, the kitchen was well-equipped and the large table seated us all happily. The beds were comfortable, the showers powerful and everything was clean and tidy. Our Dubai-dwelling couple made use of the aircon, but we felt that the house remained cool inside even in a heatwave. Exploring the Tuscan countryside was a delight, and Palaia is a pretty town that can supply everyday needs. Local restaurants were good, and easy to visit with only the tiniest amount of Italian (standard English travellers...). The furthest we ventured was Siena, which was about 1hr 20mins drive, but we visited Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, Monteriggioni, Livorno, Certaldo (highly recommended) and many smaller hilltop towns. All in all, we'd thoroughly recommend Villa Montevizzno. The only problem was leaving. We just didn't want to!

Fabulous villa with pool

When we arrived at the villa we were more than impressed with what we found. It's a wonderful spacious house which accommodated our party of 6. It had every facility we could possibly want for our holiday. The pool is huge and very well kept, it was cleaned regularly during our stay. We were met by Giordana, our very friendly host. Serena and Giordana were available to answer any of our questions before and during our visit. Nothing was too much trouble. The villa is within easy walking of Palaia which has a couple of nice restaurants. Firenze, San gimignano, pisa and lucca are all within 30 or 40 minutes of the villa. We can't wait to go back to this villa again. Highly recommend. Thanks Serena and Giordana.

Beautiful

My family stay was amazing at this absolutely stunning villa. It was a great location for us we went to pisa, florence, lucca, empoli, and lots more on our route to them. Palaia being the closest to you they have a handful of restaurants and few shops with essentials shops, clothes, bags, jewellery etc so a good selection. we didn't walk there, we always drove but it isn't that far at all. Forcoli being the closest supermarket is 10mins away in the car has pretty much all you need to do a shop. And there is bank, pharmacy selection of restaurants and shops. The villa had the most incredible views, it is peaceful, clean, well equipped, and more than we ever expected especially for such great value! The photos don't give it justice just how beautiful it is! The owner Giordano took us cherry picking one of the days which both my children loved and couldn't get enough of, they were delicious! The whole home, gardens and pool were kept to a really clean and high standard. We have already been discussing our return for next year as we loved our stay so much. great house for a super vacation

Overall it is a very good house to rent, although the arrival wasn't good. The tennants before us had made a mess, and this wasn't cleaned properly and there was no one to welcome us. It tooks us several hours of additional cleaning. So the first impression was not good. Next day we met the owner, he apologised for the mess (I would have expected a bottle wine or something for this mess) and everything that needed to be fixed was fixed the next day. From that moment on, it was very good; great house, great view, great pool, nothing to complain and we had a super vacation.
