This spacious lovely villa is situated between and within, walking distance to the seaside resort of Almyrida, and Plaka, the lovely traditional village above. There are panoramic views to the sea and Souda Bay, and beautiful views to the White Mountains, and the lovely surrounding landscape. A large private plot of approx. 1500 sqm with a mature garden of flowers and trees and a huge lawn, complements the pool, outdoor kitchen, and numerous terraces to be enjoyed on long summer days and evenings. The property is part of the small, gated exclusive development of Almyrida Views, one of the best in the area.

Built to high standards, beautifully furnished and decorated, the villa offers comfort and relaxation in all rooms and outdoor areas.

The main floor includes an airy living room with sliding doors and access to the outdoor lounge and dining area, and outdoor kitchen with BBQ, fridge and sink. Further on the main floor, the living room has a large corner-sofa, a fireplace, a dining area with table for 8-10, a fully fitted kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom, and the staircase to the upper and lower floors. The lower floor consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathroom, and access to terraces and the garden/pool. The upper floor has a bedroom with access to a huge terrace.

This was the perfect accommodation for a wonderful, relaxing vacation. We were welcomed by lovely Carina who showed us everything about beautiful villa Zoe. The place was impeccable and provided everything you could wish for and more. The pool is amazing, perfect for a real swim due to its size and so well taken care of and the views were simply breathtaking. The place is quiet and very private at the end of a cul-de-sac and easy to get to at the same time. 2 nice tavernas are very close and the supermarket and village center with more places to dine at are in walking distance.The host Alexandra was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We would recommend villa Zoe to anyone who is looking for a dream vacation and we will definitely be back. THANK YOU SO MUCH for making this such a wonderful time. Villa Zoe is a 10/10.

Villa Zoe

Our second stay in Villa Zoe and once again had fantastic holiday. The villa itself looks like something from a glossy magazine and the location overlooking Souda Bay is second to none. The images on the website are accurate but actually being there is even better. As an example of customer service the gas bottle on the bbq run out just as family were coming for lunch. A quick phone call and within 15 mins a new one up and running

Beautiful Villa

We arrived late at night and so we were given a PIN code to access a key box to enable us to enter the villa. The house manager warmly welcomed us the following day. The villa was exceptional!The kitchen was really well equipped with everything you would need including an ice maker!The bedrooms were well presented, modern but homely and a good size. Bathrooms were modern, cleaned and in fantastic condition.The views were beautiful, looking out over the sea. The pool was AMAZING. It was large with plenty of room around it for sun beds and outdoor seating. It was also beautifully lit at night making an evening swim really enjoyable.The walk into Plaka was around 10 minutes, where there was a handful of bars and restaurants and a couple of small supermarkets. It’s a downhill walk to Almyrida, taking about 20 mins, where there were plenty of bars, restaurants and the beach. It’s not a loud, bustling town but it suited us.We didn’t hire a car so used Almyrida taxis who were readily available. All in all we had a fabulous holiday and would definitely recommend Villa Zoe.

Outstanding luxury villa

Beautiful villa, with lovely gardens, pool and views. Private and peaceful, yet access to restaurants and shops within a 10-15 minute walk The villa itself was immaculate, and exceedingly well equipped both inside and outside. We were a party of 8, and it still felt spacious. Homely touches, welcome basket, mid week clean ….very professional. The host Alexandra could not of been more helpful and organised taxis to pick up from the airport. The local village and restaurants were great, and watersports on calmer days. We took boat snorkelling trips out and a visit inland to see the turtles. All in all a fantastic holiday had by all. Would whole heartedly recommend this Villa, you will make special memories here!!

Lovely surprise

If you’re going to be in Crete and would like to treat yourself to a relaxing and rejuvenating stay this is the place to be. We travelled with family, 7 in total ranging in age from 13-82 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The host Alexandra was fantastic with communication before and during our stay. Always available and with the most prompt responses I’ve ever experienced with a residence host. Any questions we had were answered immediately and any issues were immediately addressed. The house itself is immaculately clean, spacious, well equipped from top to bottom, inside and out, and true to the pictures online. The pool was amazing large and superbly clean and well kept. Proximity to town was fantastic. Impressive water views with great privacy and amazing sunsets. There are great food options nearby within walking distance which was a bonus. If you’re looking for a superb family stay where you don’t need to worry or think about anything because someone has already done the hard work and thinking for you, then this is the place. I hope to return at some point soon A sincere thanks to Alexandra and her team at Almyra

What a gem of a villa

This villa is amazing. The pictures represent the villa truthfully. It was spotless when we arrived and the kitchen is well fitted out. The pool is a brilliant size. It was quiet and the view of the bay, whether it’s watching ships come in during day or gazing at the marvellous sunset, is one never to forget. We enjoyed watching the wildlife- geckos, swallows, birds of prey, mountain goats and the occasional cat who popped along to say hi. Alex the host couldn’t have done more to help us. We took her recommendations for an in house chef one night and they did not disappoint. We used the local supermarket and a couple of the restaurants. Plaka is a short walk up the hill and Almyrida down the hill. Both are lovely. We didn’t hire a car and used the local taxi firm who were pleasant and their cars always spotless. The driveway has plenty of space for a number of cars. If you want a peaceful getaway this is the place for you. We will definitely return in the future.

Wow

The villa is amazing , the photos and descriptions do not do it justice. It is so well appointed - every bit of kitchen equipment you could ever need.There were 8 of us - 5 adults (my daughters and partners) and 3 children ( grandchildren aged 10, 12 and 15) . There was more than enough space inside and outside the villa so that everyone could have their own space. The pool is beautiful and was well used . The village is probably a 10 minute walk - it’s the uphill that takes the time for me.! 2 great supermarkets and quite a few tavernas to try. We did our best to try all of them - well someone had to. There is a taverna mere 75 yards from the villa which does lovely food , with a friendly staff and a great view over the bay. (The Emerald) The nearest beach is about 5 mins max by car . Nice shallow water and very clean . There are lots of beautiful beaches within easy reach. We explored Knossos , the museum, olive production , the waterfall village and the keen cyclist who brought his bike found lots of inland villages to have coffee ! The villa is amazing , we had a wonderful holiday and hope to return . Alexandra and her team ensured that everything was perfect.

Memorable stay at villa Zoe

Magnifique séjour en famille à la villa Zoe (6 adultes et 2 enfants - 7mois/3 ans)! La maison est très bien équipée, cuisine, salles de bain, et mème jeux pour la piscine et le sport ! Spacieuse, elle offre de beaux espaces : salon, cuisine et surtout extérieurs - bar, coin repas et magnifique pelouse ! La piscine est superbe, grande et toujours très propre! L’entretien, jardin, pelouse et extérieurs vraiment top et surtout passage 2x par semaine des dames pour le nettoyage et la literie, très agréables et accommodantes, vraiment parfaites! Un grand merci aussi à Alexandra toujours disponible et de bons conseils pour repas ou excursions et pour la sympathique touche personnalisé à l’arrivée ! Au final très belle découverte de la Crète où les gens (commerces, restaurants, tours) sont extrêmement agréables et cordiaux.

An excellent villa with super pool area and lots of space

This villa has everything, the pool is lovely, the grounds are generous with plenty of room for ball games etc. The support from the local manager, Carina, was very friendly and very prompt. The ancillary service, in particular the cuisine from Soula the cook who came in 4 times in our week was superb, delicious, plentiful and very good value. With young children this is a very viable alternative to finding and going to restaurants or wasting your holiday hours shopping and cooking. The countryside of Western Crete is stunning. A hire car is an essential as the local towns are up and down steep hills and a hard walk for older or less fit guests !

Wonderful holiday in Plaka

Everything about Villa Zoe was perfect. Alexandra and her team were wonderful and made our stay hassle free from booking through to the end of our holiday. The villa is spotless and set in a fantastic location with wonderful views overlooking Souda bay, 10 minutes walk from the centre of Plaka. The village is small but has some lovely restaurants and 2 mini markets that had everything we needed. Almyrida is a 15 minute walk and has a variety of bars, shops and restaurants. As other reviewers have mentioned, we usually got a taxi back in the evening for 8 Euros. We stayed for a week and the villa was fully serviced mid week. I could not fault our stay in any way.

Excellent in every way!

We loved our stay at Villa Zoe. The villa is exactly as described, really clean and had everything we needed. The views from the villa are amazing and there are plenty of comfy seating areas to relax and enjoy them! Pool is a great size. We also loved the location of this villa. You can walk into Plaka within 10 minutes and there you will find a well stocked store and a number of good tavernas - our favourite was Elpis! Or you can walk down to the beach in 15-20 minutes where there are lots more restaurants to choose from. Taxi cost us 6 euros when we didn’t feel like walking back uphill! Everyone in our party agreed that this was the best villa they had stayed in and I would recommend without hesitation!

Amazing Views

We had a week in Crete with 2 families. Sadly we didn't see much sunshine but Villa Zoe was so lovely we had a fantastic time. It was extremely well equipped with everything needed in every room. The pool area was superb and as we went late in the year we paid extra to heat the stunning swimimg pool. This was a good call and we enjoyed plenty of time in it. We had a car which made it easy to go for supplies, restaurants and trips out. We highly recommend this villa and thank Alexandra for her hospitality, especially the galaktoboureko (custard Tart).

Perfect stay

We had a fantastic week at Villa Zoe, the location is great and the views are absolutely stunning. As a group of friends with small children, there was lots of space and the pool area was great for all of us. Alexandra was on hand to answer any questions and was very responsive. We would 100% recommend staying here!

Family holiday to celebrate 2 big birthdays

Wonderful villa with views to match. Fully lived up to expectations with Alexandria and Vera always on hand. Close to centre of Plaka with many taverns to enjoy. Wouldn't hesitate to recommended a holiday there
