Another wonderful stay

This was our 2nd stay in this fabulous apartment. The location is perfect, a 2 minute walk to the boardwalk and beach, around 10 minutes to a small selection of restaurants accessed through the underpass and around 20 minutes stroll to La Cala itself. The apartment has everything you could possibly need, all main appliances in the kitchen, air conditioning and sun loungers and chairs to take down to the pool areas. There are 2 pools in the very large and well kept gardens. I can’t recommend this apartment enough, It’s quite a large complex but is very quiet, not much noise at all. There’s also a lift which we used as this is a top floor apartment. Absolutely top class, so much so that we’ve already booked to go back next year. A big thanks to Emma at La Cala Sales and Rentals who came to meet us on our Sunday arrival. Just perfect.

Great location

Well maintained, safe and secure property. Seaside boardwalk just outside the gate, groceries nearby, good varied selection of restaurants within a short walk. This was our second stay and we would gladly return again.

Wonderful Mijas sea view appartment

This appartment is in the perfect location at La Cala. We once again enjoyed stunning sea views and beautifully kept gardens together with large swimming pool. The appartment is really spacious with two bedrooms and bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen. Thank you so much Claire and Peter for a great holiday. We were also grateful to Emma, La Cala Rentals.

Fabulous Apartment

We’ve just returned from a 10 night stay in this fabulous apartment. It exceeded our expectations as the photos don’t show how spacious the apartment is. There was absolutely everything that could possibly be needed and the complex itself is very quiet. It’s a top floor apartment with a roof terrace which we used to dry washing which was useful as it was very windy during our stay and the clothes airer on the balcony ‘shifted’ a bit. The grounds are beautiful with two pools to choose from. Big thanks to Emma who met us with the keys. We’ve already decided to come back next year. Perfect.

Stunning location

We enjoyed an extended stay, the location of the property is ideal, the unit faces South/west in close proximity to beach and boardwalk on a beautiful stretch of beach. We were impressed with high standard of maintenance of the common areas in the complex. Location is walking distance to 3 supermarkets (local mercado has good quality meats, Lidl 15 min walk, and Carrefour in La Cala town centre), and very good variety of restaurants. Property manager was within easy contact for any questions. We plan to return next year.

Wonderful Holiday

Thank you so much for our wonderful stay. The appartment was in a perfect location and the view from the balcony was stunning. Communication with owner and handover agency was very professional. The lovely appartment was spacious and comfortable and provided everything one would need. Would love to come back again.

A slice of wonderful

The apartment was as shown, and was roomier than I expected. The view was fantastic, and the property itself was also lovely. We were staying with friends, and my swimmer friend loved the pool, though it has no heating so I found it too cold in early October. The location was great if you had a car (we did), and we used it as a base to explore several amazing places. It was a quiet and restorative place to return to after a long day. All in all, this apartment was a gem in a golden setting.

Net appartement in een goed onderhouden complex. Het appartement kan wat onderhoud gebruiken. Klein balkon met mooi uitzich op zee en strand maar waar veel lawaai van de snelweg hoorbaar is.

Los Mimosas

Leiligheten ligger i et hyggelig og godt vedlikeholdt sameie. Alt fungere som det skal., og det er tilgang til svømmebasseng og solstoler. Det er også et bibliotek i hagen med bordtennisbord og toiletter. Alt ligger helt nede ved stranden. Leiligheten er fin, stor nok, godt utstyrt og den har sol og utsikt. Noe trafikkstøy.

WELL LOCATED AND A VERY NICE STAY

We (Diane and Rolland) wish to give a feed back after a two (2) months stay, as follows: First of all very well located appartment, but it needs to be refresh as painting, 2nd bathroom, there is a problem a leaking water at the bottom of the shower and it was going all over the floor. The interior and exterior balcony curtains needs to be replaced, The electric blind (patio door) doen't go the bottom. Our suggestion could that thw owner spend to time at the appartment to see what could be done. A very special thanks for Emma and all the people that gave there attention and a very good care of us. For myself, Diane Pilon Calvé, as I know very well Diane & Rolland, I can assure you that they are people very pleasant, understanding and there house is impeccable in Quebec. Canada.

Very pleasant stay, great location

We had a very pleasant stay at Claire and Peter’s flat. Great location and very well maintained building. Although there was a busy main road nearby, it was not really a nuisance and the views over the gardens and sea were outstanding. The two bathrooms were brand new. However I would say that it was a good job we already knew the area, as once you got the keys from a letter box outside the agency, there were no real explanations as to how to get to the property and more specifically how to find the right building, there being three in the « urbanizacion » : we thought this could be improved. Apart from that, we had a good time and would very much like to stay there again. Thank you

nice large apartment with fantastic aircon, let down by incessant road noise,

I have been to la cala 4 times a year for the last 8 years , i love the place, I loved the location but for the road noise , the apartment is large with a modern feel . tv and wifi was good but intermittent ,the pool area was very quite and spacious , pool was lovely. there were sun beds and beach chairs in the apartment and shopping trolleys to move your bulk shop to the apartment, emptying of the aircon waste bucket was a pain and was woken up first night by ground floor tenant as his balcony was flooding , was not happy it was let out with 2 known defects, half the sockets in the kitchen area did not work and the daily aircon water disposal , lack of a welcome pack was a surprise, at the very least water would have been nice, all in all great but flawed

Fantastic Apartment

We stayed for two weeks at the apartment and could not fault it in any way. The apartment was clean and spacious with unbelievable views of the beach. Location wise, the apartment is in close vicinity to a number of excellent restaurants and bars, or just a short walk along the boardwalk to numerous restaurants and bars.

Holiday in april in las Mimosas with family of four.

Lovely apartment with great view of pool and beach. The complex Las Mimosas is very nice with a lot of green and grounds taken care of. All arrangements went smoothly. Flexibel as well as we asked if my parents could pick up the keys on the day of our (late) arrival and this was no problem. It is well equipped. Plenty of plates, bowls, cutlery etc. Also an ironing board and iron. Very nice and new modern bathrooms, one also with a double vanity. Though having to limit the time in the shower with a boiler. After 2 people showered for each 8 minutes the water would be cool (with the faucet going at half steam which was still very nice). Our kids usually shower in the evening so that worked out okay. Wifi worked fine, able to stream netflix. Only the sound of the highway close by was not very nice while sitting on the balcony. All in all a very nice apartment and area to stay in.

Nice apartment but noisy road

Very well appointed apartment with new bathrooms, but we had trouble dealing with the noisy dual carriage way that runs very close by, with just the 2 of us there we actually moved into the back bedroom because that was quiet and it was also very noisy on the balcony! A shame to review like this but if someone else had put these comments we wouldn’t have booked it! We live somewhere very quiet and we definitely didn’t want this for our spring holiday! Love Cala Mijas and would return but to an apartment on the front!

Lovely apartment

We are experienced travelers and have been using this site for a long time. And I want to say that these apartments in La Cala de Mijas were our best experience for all the years of rent on this site. A wonderful hostess, the communication with which was very simple and understandable. We were very well received in La Cala, all the details were clear. Tappas bar, which was recommended by the hostess, was the most delicious experience for 2 weeks of arrival on the Costa del Sol. The apartments are located in a very beautiful house, with charming courtyards. On the territory fragrant flowers, well-groomed lawns, 2 swimming pools. A beautiful beach, right next to the house, on the beach an excellent bar. Convenient parking for cars. My child was safe and ran around freely, and I could rest. The apartments themselves are very spacious and our large family felt spacious. From the balcony there is a magnificent view of the sea. The apartment has everything you need. They are wonderfully and tastefully decorated. Very comfortable beds and we had a good sleep all the days. Perfectly located, we traveled all over the Costa del Sol, and it was easy to return to our house. This is Ronda, and Granada, and children's parks in Torremolinos and Belmadena. I really recommend this apartment and thank you again Claire!

We are a professional couple living in the UK. We love taking regular holidays so that we can get to experience different cultures.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We walked into this apartment and was immediately struck by the view. It is on the top floor so the vista is pretty spectacular. It is about 40m from the beach and the complex has a gate straight onto the beach.

There are a couple of bars nearby and La Cala town centre is about a 10 minute walk along on the beach. The local council have laid a walkway so you don't have to walk on the sand if you don't want to.

La Cala town has lots of bars and restaurants, serving all kinds of cuisines. We like the area because it does not have skyscrapers or office blocks so the place is relaxed and the people are really friendly.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Apart from the view (have I mentioned that it is fantastic?) just in front of the apartment is one of two private pools for the complex and there is parking (behind gates) in the basement.

We have put in a new kitchen, new lighting, Internet, Wifi, digital TV etc.

A 2 minute walk away in Torre Nueva is a small supermarket, and a few excellent restaurants (including an Indian).
