Situado en la campiña virgen e idílica del este del Algarve, Vila Laurinha se encuentra a unos 30 km al este de Faro y a solo 7 minutos en coche de la histórica y pintoresca ciudad de Tavira. La frontera española está a solo 20 km. La villa es servida por el característico pueblo local de Santo Estevao, con una tienda, cafetería, restaurante y todos los cajeros automáticos y farmacias importantes. Playas, campos de golf y parques acuáticos están a poca distancia en coche, al igual que el aeropuerto de Faro a 25 minutos. Hay algunos maravillosos paseos y lugares de picnic al norte con increíbles vistas del campo y el océano. La ciudad de Tavira tiene un sabor claramente veneciano y se encuentra en el campo virgen del este del Algarve. Hay una variedad de restaurantes y bares a precios razonables que sirven comida tradicional portuguesa e internacional para todos los gustos y bolsillos. El mercado diario de pescado y general sirve como epicentro con el antiguo puente romano que data de la ocupación romana. La ciudad se desarrolló por la ocupación árabe y fue conquistada por los portugueses en 1242. En el siglo 16, Tavira sirvió como un puerto importante en el Algarve

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. It’s a very spacious villa both inside and outside. Check in was easy and the property is well equipped and clean. We would have given the villa 9/10 but the proximity of the A22 motorway (less than 150m away) did detract from the tranquility of the location.

The Villa was very clean and comfortable. The pool area had plenty of sun loungers but only two umbrellas. Would definitely need more. The location of the villa was very remote. Every taxi ordered had a lot of difficulty in finding us.

Great property - unfortunately too secluded for us, car essential and traffic noise was irritating. Paula was brilliant and very easy to contact. The pool was excellent though there was some confusion about the pool heating- Vrbo assured me when I booked that it was included in total price which I confirmed over the phone but owner said it had to be booked and paid for

Absolutely amazing villa. Well and plentiful equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need . Beautiful outside area pool is amazing. Very clean. Paula is extremely helpful. Photos really don’t do it justice, I was completely bowled over on arrival. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again

2nd Visit to Villa Laurinha

A family holiday with our 2yr old grandson and his 3 month old sister (and their parents of course). The villa was as we remembered it from our previous visit in 2017 with our other grandaughters.. The villa is well equipped and beds very comfortable

Amazing stay

Very nice and clean villa with easy access to everything. Main road noise wasn't a problem to us. The lady that met us on arrival and departure was extremely helpful and friendly. Will be back.

Fantastic villa!

Just returned from a family holiday at this beautiful villa. We had plenty contact from Paula with directions and times and she met us there. Facilities were excellent and everything thought of to make a great stay. Rural location so car needed which suited us perfectly. Very modern and stylish decor inside and great pool area. Would highly recommend and hoping to return.

Top quality villa with excellent fixtures and fittings, great outside space and pool.

Great holiday. Local village and town of Tavira are within easy reach and are great for coffee's in the day and restaurants at night. Complemented by a lovely.spotlessly clean, well equipped villa with lovely terrace, gardens and pool. Terry was very helpful with information ahead of arrival and Jane was a great contact during our stay and was always available for any help we needed. A great villa and management team which all contributed to an excellent holiday.

We received a warm welcome from Paula, who showed us around on arrival. The villa was beautiful, with spacious air-conditioned bedrooms which were all en suite. There was a large kitchen, a large dining table, and very comfortable lounge, which meant we could spread out or come together as a family and socialise comfortably. The pool was fantastic. The patio area benefited from two large pergolas, which offered a shaded place to sit with comfy outdoor sofas. There was also a large sunshade by the pool with good-quality sun loungers. The villa was very clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for a great holiday. The hosts have taken care in choosing good quality mattresses and bedding for a great night's sleep. The kitchen had every pot, pan, and utensil required, should you wish to cook. The villa was in a secluded area, which meant it was very peaceful. There were good road links nearby which meant the villa was a great base for exploring the Algarve. Tavira and all its shops and restaurants are a short drive away. I would recommend hiring a car if you were to stay. We did a mixture of exploring the area as well as making the most of the villa's facilities. The photos don't do this villa justice; it's a real gem, and a credit to its hosts.

Fantastic set up, great location

Only half-hour ish from the airport, 15mins drive to pretty much any local attraction. Property was very large for a 4 bedroom place. It was well presented, modern and in good condition. The traffic noise seemed to fade in the afternoon (which may be down to wind or heat or something else sciencey). It bothered us at first but then we forgot about it. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic holiday in a beautiful villa with a pool!

We had the pleasure of spending our holiday at this wonderful accommodation in Portugal, and it was simply amazing! With a group of 7 people, we had an unforgettable time here. The villa offers everything you could wish for a relaxing holiday. The pool was definitely the highlight for us! It was clean, well-maintained, and the perfect size for swimming a few laps or simply relaxing and soaking up the sun. The house itself left nothing to be desired: spacious and comfortable rooms with cozy beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and a large outdoor area where we often enjoyed barbecues and meals together. The attention to detail in the décor is particularly noteworthy – it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a welcoming atmosphere. A special thanks to Terry, the host, for making our stay so enjoyable. The communication was excellent – friendly, helpful. We highly recommend this accommodation – whether for a family vacation or a trip with friends. We would definitely come back!

Wonderful villa

It is a large villa, the quality is so good you can tell it is regularly visited by the owners as a second home and not just for rental. A car is a must! But it is then only a short drive to many picturesque villages with lots of bars and restaurants, beaches etc etc. I found both the owner and manager to be most helpful from start to finish. Our return flight was at 9pm, so requested a late checkout - as no-one had booked the following day this was not a problem. This made our last day so much easier than if we had to check out at 10am. We left around 5pm!! When we arrived I sent a text to let the manager know we were just getting some shopping and expected time of arrival. Again, most helpful - he advised that getting shopping as soon as you arrive can be a sign to thieves as the weight of your luggage lowers the suspension of the car and the thieves wait for you to enter the supermarket and then steal your suitcases. So bearing this in mind he checked to see if the villa was ready, it was, so he suggested we go to the villa first, drop off our suitcases and then get our shopping. I also found that having a supply of cleaning products including washing powder was great. Often you have to buy a full pack and you probably only need a couple of capsules. A wonderful American fridge freezer - with ice and chilled water - my husband now wants one!! He also wants the Dolce Gustos coffee maker - they left the pods for us too - very nice! Outside is very spacious with 5 tables in total - one at the front, 2 on the raised patio, one just in front of the raised patio and one by the pool. You can chose to sit in the sun or shade as there is always a table in either. There were also 8 sunloungers (at least) and towels were provided for both by the pool and bathroom use. You can climb the stairs to the roof terrace - great views. The pool is large! There are 4 bedrooms and each is on suite - the bathrooms are very modern and clean - good quality! It was our first time to Portugal and I am so glad we chose this villa - we will definately return

Alles super. Paulas herzlicher Empfang, eine tolle Terrasse mit warmem Pool, gemütliche Betten und die Großzügigkeit des Hauses haben uns eine wundervolle Woche verschafft. Die nahe Autobahn und die bellenden Hunde nerven schon etwas, aber irgendwas ist ja immer.

Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit in Terrys wunderschöner Villa an der Algarve! Das Haus ist mit so viel Liebe eingerichtet, großzügig, hell und perfekt ausgestattet – man merkt sofort, dass hier jemand mit Herz Gastgeber ist. Besonders der Garten und der Poolbereich sind ein Traum – morgens Kaffee auf der Terrasse, abends ein Glas Wein beim Sonnenuntergang – besser geht’s kaum.Paula hat uns super herzlich empfangen und war jederzeit erreichbar, falls wir Fragen hatten. Alles war blitzsauber, die Betten bequem, und man fühlt sich einfach sofort wohl.Wir wären am liebsten gar nicht wieder abgereist – und kommen ganz sicher wieder. Absolute Empfehlung für alle, die das echte Algarve-Gefühl erleben wollen – ruhig, stilvoll und mit einer großen Portion Herzlichkeit.

Erholsame Urlaubstage

Wir waren in den Herbstferien 12 Tage in dem wunderbaren Ferienhaus und hatten eine erholsame Zeit. Das gesamte Team des Ferienhauses war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Pool war herrlich warm, genau das was wir uns gewünscht hatten. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Ein kleiner Nachteil war die nahegelegene Autobahn. Vielen Dank nochmal an das Team des Ferienhauses für den guten Service.

Agréable séjour

La villa est très grande et propre, la grande terrasse super et piscine au top, juste un petit bémol pas d'air conditionné dans le salon mais présent dans toutes les chambres, il y a de belles brises sur la terrasse en soirée et pas de moustiques en plus, c était magnifique.
