Villa Thalassini lleva el nombre de la palabra griega "thalassa", que significa "mar", es una hermosa villa en una ubicación impresionante. Situada en el pintoresco pueblo de Agia Efimia, la casa tiene vistas espectaculares sobre el mar Jónico. La villa está ubicada en una ladera exuberante alrededor de un gran patio rodeado de olivos en una propiedad de 2500 m ^ 2 que ofrece privacidad.
Al estar muy orgullosos de nuestro hermoso jardín con buganvillas y muchas otras flores coloridas, así como de nuestro jardín vegatable, la casa también tiene una agradable barbacoa, 2 áreas para comer que ofrecen un paisaje impresionante sobre la piscina hasta el mar.
Con un recorrido privado de 600 metros, la villa ofrece fácil acceso al pueblo de Agia Efimia, un pueblo tradicional griego con bulliciosas tabernas y yates que amarran a última hora de la tarde. Preciosa playa a 10 minutos a pie de la villa.
Completado al más alto nivel en junio de 2014, Villa Thalassini es posiblemente una de las mejores villas en Kefalonia.

Great Villa.

A beautiful Villa set on a hillside with great views across the bay and harbour. The pool was a good size with spacious sunbathing areas. It’s in a great location so close to the port where there is a great choice of restaurants.

A hidden gem

What an absolutely stunning villa - beautifully clean, very well appointed and perfectly located, within a couple minutes of the gorgeous town of Efimia. Amalia and Panos looked after us very well, with excellent communication before and during our stay - they even cleaned the property and changed linens half way through the week! We will be heartily recommending this villa to family and friends :)

Beautiful villa, perfect location

Villa Thalassini is a most beautiful villa, tastefully furnished and decorated. Summer kitchen, pretty gardens, spacious pool area and amazing views over the Ionian Sea. Everything is provided to make your stay perfect. Little extra touches such as complimentary toiletries, sewing kit, herbs and spices, coffee, cold drinks were very much appreciated. Wonderful villa

Our family of 4 had a lovely 2 week stay at this villa. Panos was a great host, giving tips on where to go and helping us throughout our stay. The villa is beautiful - in a quiet location on the hillside above Ayia Effimia. The village had lots of good tavernas by the harbour, as well as shops, bars and cafes. You’ll need a car to stay here. You’d probably want one anyway to get around the island and visit the beaches and other sights. We’d definitely recommend this villa. Thank you, Panos, for a wonderful holiday!

The most amazing family holiday

We have just returned from our holiday in this most amazing villa. We went for my 50th birthday with the family and I couldn’t have asked for a better place stay. The villa was beautiful, with the most amazing views, wonderful pool and so many amazing areas to chill and enjoy some good family time together. The hosts couldn’t have been anymore helpful, even picking fruit from the beautiful garden and giving it to us. We had a car hire, which I would recommend if you want to travel to some of the most scenic beaches and gorgeous villages. Nothing was to much trouble from the hosts, which made our stay even more wonderful. I would recommend a stay in this beautiful villa to anyone for a perfect holiday

Stunning villa

Stunning villa with lots of space inside and out. Beautiful setting up on a hill overlooking the bay and the garden is really established with endless flowers, olive tree, figs and limes the size of grapefruits. The pool was brilliant for our children and us grown-ups loved lounging in the many seating areas. The family who own the house were helpful and good communicators. And the little town at the bottom of the hill had some lovely cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. We had a hire car so could explore further afield (and avoid hiking up the hill home after!). Would highly recommend. By far and away the best ‘holiday house’ we’ve ever stayed in.

Amazing Villa

We’ve just returned from a wonderful holiday at Villa Thalassini. We have been visiting Kefalonia for 33 years and this is the best Villa we have stayed in. It is stunning and in a great location. Pristine clean and tastefully decorated inside and out and with lovely different seating areas to enjoy the incredible view. We sat and looked at it a lot… Beautiful trees, plants and flowers surround the villa giving shade and privacy and gorgeous aromas. The pool is excellent, with both ladder and steps to access. Lovely touches such as the welcome basket of food and drink, toiletries & good size pool towels plus comfy sunbeds were all appreciated. Panos met us on arrival and was very helpful the entire holiday; he and Amalia were always quick to respond and both made us feel very welcome. The Harbour area has a large choice of restaurants, bars, bakeries and supermarkets. A perfect holiday and we do hope to return! Thank you, Amalia and Panos, for being such excellent hosts x

A little piece of paradise!

We had an amazing weeks staying at Villa Thalassini at the end of October. The villa is exactly as it appears in the marketing photographs... Its spotlessly clean and the views are breathtaking!!! There is a lovely little pebble beach down the bottom of the hill where the sea is crystal clear and perfect for snorkeling along the rocky coastline. Agia Efimia is a beautiful little village with a supermarket, butcher, baker, harbour and some lovely little tavernas... We found quite a few had closed as it was end of season but the ones that remained open were all very welcoming. The villa has a well equipped BBQ area among beautiful flora so we really enjoyed sitting out there and feasting on local meats, salads and wine in the evening. Panos and Amalia are wonderful hosts... always on hand with helpful tips about the island and places to visit or eat... They offered to change our bed linen mid week... and when we got a puncture on our rental car Panos was so helpful calling local garages for us... He even brought us a home made cake! We were really sad to leave Villa Thalassini and will definitely return.

Fantastic villa and view

Based on the online pictures, we had high expectations of Villa Thalassini and we were not disappointed. The spacious layout, both inside and outside, was perfect for our holiday of 3 couples. The views are stunning and all the different outside seating areas set amongst beautiful mature gardens gave plenty of variety for socialising (or seeking some quiet) either in sun or shade at any time of day. The pool was gorgeous and well-maintained. Picking lemons for our gin and tonics and apricots for our breakfasts directly off the trees was an added bonus. Amalia and her husband Panos were extremely responsive and helpful both before and during the holiday. The welcome fruit, wine and other basics were much appreciated as was Panos's homemade walnut cake towards the end of the holiday. The walk to and from the delightful port of Agia Efimia provided welcome exercise, especially coming back up hill after a delicious meal at one of the many excellent tavernas in the town. Agia Efimia is in a great location to be able to explore both south and north and we enjoyed visits to Sama, Antisamos, Myrtos beach, Assos, Fiskardo Chorgota and Poros. There are some good hiking trails that you can do in the area if you want to be a bit more active - ask Panos. Overall, a wonderful stay and a lovely place for us to introduce our friends to delights of Kefalonia and Greek hospitality.

Wonderful week in Agia Efimia

We had a wonderful week at Villa Thallisini. The photos don't do the villa justice, it is so spacious and such a beautiful outside space as well. The hosts were really helpful. It was an easy walk down to the village where there was a wide range of great restaurants and we were able to hire our own boat for the day which was definitely a highlight!

Amazing location and fantastic hosts

We are 2 parents and our two boys ages 18 and 15. The property has everything you could ask for. We were met by our hosts Amalia and Panagis on our arrival and they could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Agia Efimia is a lovely, unspoilt village with a relaxed vibe. We took day trips to Assos, Mount Ainos, Sami, Antisamos, Argostoli and Fiskardo. So many beautiful locations but my favourite has to be Assos for it’s stunning scenery and pretty buildings. I would highly recommend Villa Thalassini, Agia Efimia and Kefalonia for a relaxing, unspoilt by mass tourism location for a family holiday. Friendly people, excellent food and stunning scenery - we couldn’t ask for better than that!

What a view!

This is a wonderful property and even exceeds its photographs. The view from the terrace at the front is to die for, the pool fabulous and the accommodation was perfectly laid out. We loved all the restaurants on the harbour front and enjoyed every second of our stay. The property is extremely well looked after and the owners took great care of us with an extensive welcome package and even a cake on the last day. Thanks so much and we shall recommend you unreservedly.

Fantastic again

This was our second stay in this villa and we enjoyed it every bit as much as last time. It is equipped with everything you could need and is set in a beautiful garden overlooking the bay. Amalia and her husband Panagis were excellent hosts and were very attentive during our stay. We have already booked for next year!

Perfect!

Everything about this villa is perfect. It is really spacious and everything internally and externally has been finished to a high standard. The views are spectacular; it is very quiet as set up the hill a little way from the village but close enough that it's just a 10 minute walk down the hill to a big selection of really good quality tavernas. And if you don't fancy the walk back up the hill, there are plenty of taxis which will only cost 5 or 6 Euro. There is a lot of nice outdoor space, with an impressive barbeque area, lots of seating round the pool and a separate terrace. Even the garden is beautifully maintained. Amalia is a great host and met us at the villa for check in, providing us with lots of information to help with our stay. She kept in touch to let us know when the cleaners would be coming, and was quick to respond if we had any questions. I really don't think we can fault anything with this villa. We all agreed it was one of the best places we have stayed, and hope to come back one day for another visit.

Beautiful Villa, highly recommend

Such a lovely place. Family holiday to celebrate 2 x 30th b'days, a 60th b'day and 40th wedding anniversary. Better than the photos; it really is a special place to stay. The Villa was immaculate, tastefully decorated, very comfortable, very spacious. Amazing views both out to sea and countryside, beautifully kept garden with fragrant roses, pretty flowers, lovely olive trees, a lemon tree, super swimming pool with a very efficient filter and no chlorine making it very pleasant to swim, kept beautifully clean; comfortable loungers, sun all day, fab bbq area with outdoor kitchen type area and seating. Also, just a 5 minute walk into the lovely town with restaurants, supermarket, meat market, bakery,shops.. .It is slightly uphill on the way back up but we raced up it. A slow walk would make it feel less so. Amalia was lovely too...she welcomed us with a homemade creme caramel, which was delicious, home made olive oil (wish I could have taken that home), beers in the fridge, bread, cheese and ham... Amalia genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay and made us so welcome. There were 6 of us for most of the stay and 7 for a couple of days which Amalia accommodated at late notice, going to the trouble of setting up a sofa bed on the landing area. In the kitchen there were sundries and condiments, such as salt and pepper, tea and coffee and bits and bobs which you need but dont really want to buy for the little you do need. I really can't think of one negative. We would definitely go back there and hope to at some stage. We all agreed Agia Efimia was one of the best places we could have chosen on the island. I researched pretty thoroughly but you never really know til you get there. We hired two cars and did see a fair amount of the island. The beaches are stoney in the North but are really beautiful and clean. Scenery everywhere was stunning. It was relatively quiet , but everywhere was open and the restaurants all had people dining so you didn't feel it was too much out of season, just not bustling which we loved. Added bonus, we were lucky with the weather, very slight cloud with sun every day but one , which was overcast but still warm and we travelled around that day. Greek weather information said the sea is not warm enough to swim at this time of year but we all swam in the sea at each beach we visited. We were all very sad to leave . 7 days was not enough. Fiskardo, Assos, Myrtos beach, Sami and Antisamos beach all a must xx

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Thalassini!

Thank you Amalia! Your villa was impeccable. I loved morning coffee overlooking the sea from the front patio. Afternoons in the private pool were also so relaxing. I was amazed by the variety of beautiful roses throughout the property. The people of Agio Efimia were truly welcoming and we felt like we had friends. We hope to return!

Perfect haven

We have recently returned from two idillic weeks at this beautiful villa. This is our first villa holiday (we recently became parents) but my husband and I have been lucky enough to travel the world extensively and stay in some of the top hotels. So our standards and hopes were very high. This villa exceeded our expectations in every way. The pool and gardens are immaculate and the views are simply stunning (no camera trickery on the photos of this villa!). In fact the photos don't do it justice, you really feel like you are staying in a movie stars home, not a holiday villa. Bath and beach towels are provided, as well as quality bedding, on extremely comfortable beds. The kitchen is very well appointed and dishwasher tablets and cloths washing powder provided. Amalia is an absolute gem, we couldn't have hoped for a more helpful and lovely host. On arrival the fridge was stocked with some essential food and water. The pool is cleaned daily before you wake up and the villa is cleaned twice per week. The drive up the the villa from the village only takes 2 mins but is very steep and uneven. I certainly appreciated our automatic hire car! Paradise beach at the bottom of the drive, is idillic and the food at the paradise restaurant was lovely, with breathtaking views. Agia Efimia feels like Kefalonia's best kept secret. A yacht lined harbour, main Street bustling with quality restaurants, all looking over the harbour. Some useful and mostly tat free tourist shops. A great butcher and magnificent patisserie that would rival any in Paris! And of course a couple of mini markets, will cater for all your needs. It really feels very exclusive and cosmopolitan and not your typical Thompson holiday tourist trap. Everywhere is so accessible from here. It's about 1h 10 mins to the airport/Lassie/Argostoli. 30 mins to magnificent beaches at Antisamos/myrtos, 20mins to Dragotti caves/mellisani lake. We opted to take a boat day trip to Fiacardo, rather than drive, which was amazing! I'm sure you will have a wonderful holiday in this fantastic villa and beautiful location. We will be returning! Thalassini is a fabulous villa in a great location on the hillside giving wonderful views. Everything you could wish for is provided and there is a cleaner service twice a week. The pool is a very good size and cleaned daily and there is plenty of outside comfortable seating both in the sun and in the shade. Amalia and her family were fantastic and couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. The village itself is lovely with plenty of great restaurants and tavernas and has a lovely "village" feel to it. It is a good 20minute walk down into the village and would be very hard work back up but there is a plentiful supply and taxis which are very cheap. We couldn't recommend this vila more highly; real luxury!

Fabulous villa In wonderful area

We had one of our best holidays in this first class villa in Agia Efimia. Our first visit to Kefalonia and we were delighted both with the villa and Agia Efimia. From the outset communication with Amalia was superb. She and indeed her family were welcoming and so helpful throughout our stay. The villa is the best we have stayed in with stunning views and very well equipped including big fluffy robes washing powder dishwasher tablets etc.. It was immaculate on arrival and was then cleaned every three or four days. All linens and towels changed. We loved Agia Efimia and the many tavernas particularly Paradise at the top of the hill and Fiore d'amor where the staff service and food are the best. It's perhaps worth mentioning the walk up to the villa was hard work.... We mainly used the car.

Highly recommend it

We loved the villa - peaceful , well equipped , beautiful gardens , wonderful terraces and views - excellent pool . It was very clean on arrival and Amalia was very efficient with our booking . We would highly recommend it

We are a family of 6 members who stay all year long at the village of Agia Efimia.
We are always available for our guests, taking care the house ourselves and making sure that everything meets their expectations.
This house is not only a bussiness for us but a dream coming true for ourselves and our future bigger family!!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The house is situated in a large property with olives which was always belonging to our family. We still go there every winter to collect olives and produce our own olive oil.
It is situated in the location of "Giros" which is supposed to be the most privilleged aerea of Agia Efimia. The reason is that its facing the rising of the sun and the aerea is shiny from early morning until late evening.

The unique benefits of the villa are first of all the positioning and secondly the nice architecture of the house as well as the delightful decoration.
