Cabaña única enclavada en nuestro precioso jardín, situado en la misma propiedad que nuestra casa principal, pero independiente. La habitación principal cuenta con una cama de matrimonio y la estación de trabajo cómodo, mientras que el loft de arriba tiene una cama de matrimonio y dos camas y una excelente iluminación natural a través de dos claraboyas (tenga en cuenta que no hay puerta que separa el desván de arriba y abajo dormitorio). Tenemos colchones de piso adicionales que se pueden utilizar para dar cabida a huéspedes adicionales. Siéntase como en casa con una cocina totalmente equipada y desayunador para disfrutar de sus comidas. Proporcionamos elementos esenciales para la cocina (especias, café, té, etc.), así como cubiertos y utensilios de cocina. La casa está rodeada por un hermoso jardín francés, pasar su tiempo libre para relajarse fuera o ver una película en el televisor de 65 pulgadas. We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a cozy space and the hosts were really warm and welcoming and were super responsive whenever we needed any help. The kitchen was well equipped, and there’s a lot of cute furniture around… It felt like home! :)

Roomy, clean, and quiet!

The hosts are wonderful, the cottage is beautifully decorated and fully stocked, the gardens are delightful, and it’s a nice quiet area. I’d stay here again, it was very convenient for my needs. I felt very much at home and I was able to cook my own meals. I love the view of the garden outside the kitchen window!

Comfortable cottage in a convenient Silicon Valley location

Friendly hosts, spacious and clean cottage. Excellent proximity to freeway, shopping, and Silicon Valley companies. Well-equipped. Quiet - liked the private outdoor deck. Convenient parking. It would be nice to have some of the "stuff" in the cupboards cleaned out so there is more room for guest's requirements. Otherwise all good!

Wonderful stay in a great location with wonderful hosts

The Keval Cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay. Conveniently located in Cupertino, the cottage was perfectly situated for our sightseeing trips in and between San Francisco and Monterey. AJ and Lubna were most gracious and kind. The cottage was immaculately clean and comfortable with plenty of space for our family of four including 2 teenagers. The kitchen was well-stocked. They even had milk in the fridge, some breakfast cereals and fruit which helped since we arrived late and could not go grocery shopping until the next day. AJ was very responsive to all of my questions before and during the stay. I could go on and on about how wonderful everything was. My only regret was that we didn't have any "down time" and were not able to just relax and enjoy the beautiful garden and peaceful setting. I guess this just means we'll have to come back some day! Thank you, AJ and Lubna, for providing such lovely accommodations and for your genuine hospitality.

Cottage Was Perfect for Our Family of Four

My family of four (two parents and two teens) enjoyed our stay at this cottage in Cupertino. AJ and Lubna were terrific hosts that went above and beyond. When we arrived, a card, bottle of wine and four biscotti cookies awaited us. Our hosts also allowed us to use their laundry machines do to a couple of loads (we had just finished an 8-day RV trip), and they offered several local suggestions. The cottage itself is accurately described in the posting. It is large with two sleeping areas and plenty of space. We enjoyed using the well-appointed kitchen and relaxing on a small patio outside the main living space. The upstairs bedroom can get warm during the day, but sleeping is not an issue if one uses the in-room AC and fan. The cottage sits behind the main house, but privacy was never a concern. Our hosts were accessible, but not visible. Lastly, the location was great for us. It is close to Stanford and other attractions in Silicon Valley, and getting to downtown SF by car or public transportation is easily done. While the cottage is in a residential neighborhood, grocery stores, shops and restaurants can be reached within minutes by car. The bottom line is that we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Perfect for long term stay

AJ and his family were extremely welcoming and couldn’t have possibly made it easier for us to stay! My friend and I both had internships in the Bay Area and spent 2.5 months staying at the cottage and it was great. There is one room on the bottom floor that has stairs leading up to the top floor room, so the top floor room definitely has more privacy but we got the hang of no doors between us after a couple weeks. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need and there is a huge TV to watch everything! The couch is also super comfy, definitely fell asleep on it a number of times!

Great central location for South Bay Area

My daughter and I were visiting friends in the area and the location of the cottage was perfect for us to get to Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Palo Alto, Half Moon Bay and more. We were greeted by AJ who gave us a tour of the property, provided some suggestions for restaurants and excursions, and let us know that there was milk in the fridge (along with other snacks). My daughter loved the lofted area and it was equipped with dollhouses that she really enjoyed. The living room was cozy and we enjoyed watching movies. Eat-in kitchen with all the cooking supplies you could need. The bathroom is small as is the shower stall which could be a problem for someone built like a lineman. It is right by the highway and you hear the din of traffic in the background but it is not obnoxious. The 2nd floor loft gets quite warm in the day and cool at night but the place was equipped with fans, heater and portable ac unit to accommodate for various conditions. Walking distance to Trader Joe’s, Peet’s, Starbucks and Rite Aid is a bonus. We’ll definitely stay here again when we visit the Bay Area.

Visit to Santa Clara

The previous reviews are absolutely accurate. We chose the cottage based on the reviews and would like to add. The cottage is a cozy place to stay. It can be a bit cool in the evenings, but there are extra heaters and blankets. The location is convenient, and the hosts very responsive. The cottage was clean, and even though finding everything to cook our dinners was a scavenger hunt through the kitchen, we usually found what we needed. We would certainly stay at the cottage again.

Just what we needed!

We rented this cottage because of it’s proximity to my parents’ house for a place to stay during the holidays. It was perfect for my family of 4! Clean and quiet, it was nice to come home to after long days of visiting. The Kevals are kind and attentive and were always just a text away if we had a question. I highly recommend Casa Keval!

Great location, quiet, and comfortable

This location worked out perfectly while visiting our kids in Mountain View. Also, AJ & Lubna are very kind and gracious hosts and made sure everything went smoothly. The cottage was so relaxing with everything we needed and just blocks from SR 85 which made our commute effortless. Quick access to Trader Joe's and Safeway along with other shops was a huge plus in an area we weren't familiar with. The neighborhood is pleasant and quiet -- great for taking a walk. The garden area walking up to the cottage from the driveway is a wonderful transition and adds to the charm. Beds, bedding, living room were very comfortable. The kitchen was roomy and had everything we needed. The bathroom is small but adequate and the shower worked great. We hope this cottage is available next time we visit!

Wonderful Cottage with lots of space.

I had a wonderful time staying in the cottage. It was very spacious and well stocked. AJ was a very gracious host that made sure we were comfortable each day And gave us some wonderful recommendations (local flea market, and Sunday brunch spot). I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a place to stay while in the South Bay Area.

Home away from home

We were enchanted the moment we entered the gate. The cottage had a wonderful feel and was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect for our trip and easy to find. AJ and Lubna were very kind and friendly. We would definitely recommend this cottage for anyone visiting the area.

Cozy cottage

The cottage was just as described. Had everything that we needed. We were arriving late, so our hosts made a point to stock the kitchen with some breakfast items to get us started which was a bonus and greatly appreciated. The bottle if wine was also a nice touch. AJ was also very helpful with suggestions on a day driving the coast which was amazing.
