Hermosa casa adosada en la hermosa ciudad costera de Beaumaris

Hermosa propiedad de época cerca del centro de la encantadora ciudad de Beaumaris. La propiedad tiene más de 100 años y es un edificio protegido con muchas características originales, a la vez que se beneficia de una reciente remodelación y modernas instalaciones. Ty Capel (Chapel House) está situado al lado de la Capilla y la Escuela Dominical y fue originalmente la residencia del Ministro.

Ty Capel es una propiedad engañosamente grande en tres plantas. En la planta hay un gran comedor capaz de alojar cómodamente a 8 personas y una cocina muy bien equipada con vitrocerámica, lavavajillas, microondas, cafetera y frigorífico. Fuera de la cocina hay un cuarto de servicio con lavadora y secadora y baño separado. La planta baja se completa con una gran habitación doble con sofá cama doble que también funciona como una sala de juegos adicional con TV.

En el segundo piso hay una encantadora sala de estar con TV de pantalla plana con Sky Sports, reproductor de DVD, reproductor de CD y radio. Wifi disponible en toda la propiedad. La pieza central de la sala de estar es una hermosa chimenea y estufa de leña. También en el segundo piso hay un baño grande con una gran bañera profunda y ducha separada.

Tres dormitorios más se encuentran en el segundo piso. Cada habitación es de buen tamaño con dos de las habitaciones con camas dobles y la tercera con dos camas individuales.

La propiedad se beneficia de un patio trasero privado con mesa y sillas de jardín, además de sombrilla para comer al aire libre para hasta 8 personas. Una gran pequeña trampa solar en el verano.

Si bien está situado en una calle tranquila, la propiedad está a solo unos cientos de metros del centro de Beaumaris, con sus tiendas boutique y numerosos restaurantes y pubs. Gaol, una de las principales atracciones de Beaumaris, está a solo 50 metros y el castillo y el muelle también a pocos minutos a pie.

Hay una panadería fabulosa al final de la calle, asegúrate de llegar temprano para tomar tus cruasanes por la mañana. También recomendamos la gran variedad de panes y los pasteles también son deliciosos.

Family Christmas/ new year trip

Lovely comfortable house with a great location that was great for our family trip. Well equipped house with all modern conveniences that made the stay much easier. Great check in information given beforehand. Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable, peaceful and homely

Amazing location and the property was so homely and spacious - perfect for a family break! The street was quiet and the absolute perfect get away with everything you need just on the door step. Not to far away to be able to go out and explore the rest of Anglesey aswell! Would recommend this as a lovely place to stay

Top two floors and front groundbedroom - very good. Kitchen - tired, downstairs toilet (remembering totalbeds is 8) is tiny. Backyard is "plain" with a small inexpensive bbq that had been left out in the rain - therfore rusted and not to be used. Weedcontrol had ben abolished.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We were, however, surprised that you scored your stay so low; it is the lowest score we have received in 14 years of hosting! Glad that you thought that the majority of the house was very good. The kitchen was decorated at the same time as the rest of the house and has had new lighting, a new hob and new flooring this year. We agree that some of the cupboard doors are worn. In general however, guests normally comment on how very well-equipped the kitchen is. With regard to the downstairs toilet, it is not listed in the property details on VRBO as a bathroom; the property is listed as a 1-bathroom property. The downstairs loo is small, it's true, but useful and appreciated by guests. The bathroom on the first floor is large and spacious with a separate bath and shower. With regard to the BBQ, we ask guests to clean it after use and put it back in the utility room for future guests. In the guest information provided to you, we request that guests, if they find the BBQ dirty to contact us immediately so that the cleaner can come and rectify the situation (although this is something that the cleaner normally spots during changeover). Unfortunately, you didn't contact us, so we were unaware that the BBQ was dirty and couldn't sort it out for you. Finally, we have increased the frequency with which the courtyard is weeded following your comment.

A great getaway in Beaumaris

We had a great stay at Chapel House. The house has plenty of room and is well furnished. Beds are comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. The stairs are quite steep, but you soon get used to them. We didn't quite get the weather to enjoy the garden, but wandered out there every now and then if the sun was shining. Kevin was a great host sorting any queries or issues quickly - thanks for the wine and cake on arrival. Beaumaris is a brilliant location. We visited the Castle, Gaol and Courthouse, Plas Newydd House and Gardens (National Trust) and loved the thrilling RIB ride along the Menai Strait. Also ventured a bit further to Zip World for the Bounce Below Trampolining. Beaumaris also has some beautiful independent shops and would recommend Cole and Co (handmade soaps, candles, lotions and potions) all made in the workshop at the back, Janet Bell Home and the bakery - all of these are literally around the corner from Chapel House. It's a popular town so it does get busy, but quietens down in the evening when it was nice to have a stroll with the dog and watch the sun go down. Would definitely recommend.

Ideal location.comfortable property for a couple of days for small party

Good position.well equipped kitchen.cosy lounge.did not use log burner as house warm enough.layout could be improved.bathroom on second floor anx thd other goilet on the bottom floor at thd end of the kitchen.carpets need cleanjng but overall comfortable for a couple of nights for four people.only problem was that spent 40 minutes trying to open door withoug success.rang kevin who said would have to get housekeeper to come.he told us to go to a cafe as it would take 40 mins.we weng to get a hot drink and kevin rang to say he had had a brain freeze as he had changed the code! I have asked him for a reduction as we spent time and money due to him.He has not replied to my message.Not very professional.

Hi Patricia Over the last 5 years of inviting guests to Ty Capel I have received nearly 30 reviews (on this and other websites) which have been overwhelmingly positive. I am afraid that this is the first time I have to respond to an unfair and inaccurate review. In your review you mentioned that you had been trying to get into the house for 40mins. You rang me at 4pm and told me that you could not access the key code and had thought that it was due to the fact that it might be time coded and you were not due in the house until 4pm. This was unfortunate but if you had rung me as soon as you could not access the keysafe I would have responded immediately. I assumed there was a problem with the keysafe and suggested you go for a coffee whilst I arranged for the housekeeper to travel to Beaumaris and let you in. When I rang the housekeeper she reminded me that I had changed the access code. Although I updated this on my normal information for guests I had sent you the wrong file with old access code. I rang you immediately and gave you the correct code and apologised. This took 10, max 20 mins. I then e mailed to apologise again. My concern about your review is that I feel that you have exaggerated the problem although I accept not being able to enter the house immediately is not acceptable, but you stated that you e mailed me to complain. I e mailed you the day after your review to politely ask you to resend the e mail as I have not received any follow up from you by e mail or through the website. I am very unhappy that you have accused me of being unprofessional in not responding to your complaint, when you did not contact me. Given that I apologised by phone and by e mail for your 20 mins delay in getting into the house I would have been very disappointed to receive an e mail asking for compensation, but I would have treated your e mail in a professional manner and would have responded. Short family break

This was a last minute booking for us. We were really lucky to drop on this place. It’s a beautiful cottage off the main road in Beaumaris and about a 5 minute walk to the Strait. The house has every amenity and the host was great. What worked really well for us is that the ground floor living room (there are 2 living rooms) has a large sofa bed which was perfect for my elderly Mum meaning she didn’t have to climb steps.

Happy Beaumaris holiday

A lovely old house situated in the perfect location for Beaumaris seafront. An excellent base for exploring Anglesey. Everything you need including a fab coffee maker and a beautiful bathroom. Very steep stairs to both the first and second floors but stair gates provided. Really lovely stay here and the owner Kevin answers any questions you have really quickly. We would definitely go back (our middle child has already asked if we can go next year) x

Lovely period property

Lovely period property, very well equipped. Ideally situated - literally 2 minutes walk from the town centre and the beach. Parking a little difficult but otherwise an ideal base to explore Anglesey and North Wales.

Great house; very comfortable and well located

The house was very central, easy to find and a great location to explore from with local shops, the castle and the pier (perfect for crabbing with kids!) all within a short walk. There were also loads of great beaches and attractions within a short drive such as Penrhyn Castle (again fab for families), Conway Castle, Penmom Priory and lighthouse, the Iron Age village remains near Moelfre (which is also a great place to get hot hocolate on the beach) and loads more. The house itself was really comfortable. The heating was on when we arrived so it was instantly cosy and we arrived to a bottle of wine, some welsh cakes and some very welcome essentials. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and the house was very comfortable, roomy and well presented. The kids absolutely loved being on three floors (we have a 9, 7, and 3 year old and would say the house was definitely suitable for a family). The stairs are narrow and could be tricky for very young children but a baby gate has been provided. There was no parking available directly outside whilst we were there but we always found a space easily on the street parallel. A great holiday, we would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful base for a family holiday in Anglesey

We had a lovely holiday at Ty Capel, it is very central to Beaumaris and a good base to explore the island from. The house is very comfortable with plenty of space for us all (5 adults, 2 children and 2 border terriers!). The outdoor space was great for a barbeque one evening and nice for the kids to play in. Downstairs loo was a bonus with a large party. Kevin is an excellent host - he was very responsive to any queries etc. Parking is a bit limited, but as you would expect for a property of this nature. We never had more than a couple of minutes walk from a parking space to the house for all our party, which had three cars. All in all we had a most enjoyable holiday - we hadn't visited Anglesey before, but would recommend it to anyone considering a visit.

Large house well maintained

House comfortable. Nice area in the back to sit in. Able to relax and enjoy our stay. Close to main street so easy to reach shops and cafes. Especially the bakery which makes delicious cakes !!

Great place to stay

We had two families (8 people total) staying at the property for 4 days/3 nights. Upon arrival, the house was very clean and arranged for our large group. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and Welsh cakes. The location is quiet and very close to the shopping, pubs and beach in Beaumaris. Overall, it was a great place to stay and a great time was had by all.

Away from home to come home - Weg von zu Hause um nach Hause zu kommen

Wir haben unseren Familienurlaub in diesem gemütlichen Haus sehr genossen. Ty Capel liegt sehr zentral und fußläufig von der Promenade mit Pier, Pubs, Cafés und dem Castle entfernt. Alles was man im Alltag benötigt ist vorhanden. Es gibt eine Capuccinomaschine, die keiner zu bedienen wusste, wir haben die French Press benutzt, war auch ok. Schön ist auch eine kleine Terasse mit Holzkohlegrill. Im Wohnzimmer haben wir abends gerne den Kamin beheizt. Sehr freundlich von Kevin eine Flasche Wein und Bara Brith hinzustellen. WUNDERBAR!! We really enjoyed our family stay in Ty Capel. Would definitely stay again and recommend this lovely place to stay. Communication was perfect. Kevin, thank you for the wine and Bara Brith. One day, we all come back again, DIOLCH Kevin.

Excellent location in Beaumaris

We really enjoyed our family stay in Ty Capel. We had everything we needed and the downstairs sofa bed saved the day when my elderly Dad was unable to manage the second flight of stairs which are steep because of the buildings age and character. Had a wonderful break, over New Year. Loved the house, so homely and full of character especially with the Christmas decorations up. Excellent location so close to the sea front and charming town and Castle. Communication was easy, Kevin was a pleasure to deal with. Definitely will come back again, absolutely loved it!

Beautiful house in a perfect location.

An immaculate house, tastefully furnished and equipped with all that you could possibly need. The sitting room is beautiful and cosy with a gorgeous log burning stove which was the perfect way to relax at the end of a lovely day walking by the sea and mooching in the nearby shops and cafes. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant location, great facilities.

Lovely weekend away. Brilliant facilities. So atmospheric with wooden burning stove. Immaculately clean. Can’t wait to visit again.
