Esta casa exclusiva se encuentra en la isla Mustang y está a unos 10 minutos del nuevo Schlitterbahn. Con increíbles vistas a la playa y una piscina comunitaria está muy cerca. No puede encontrar una casa de vacaciones mejor que esta. En el tercer piso encontrará la sala de estar / comedor / cocina más increíble. Está rodeado de ventanales y terrazas en tres lados. Todos están frente a la playa con fabulosas vistas al mar. La cocina gourmet tiene todo lo que necesita para cocinar su pesca del día. La gran terraza con 2 mesas tiene una parrilla de propano y muchos asientos para todos. Esta espaciosa casa tiene 5 habitaciones grandes y 4. 5 baños y 2 salas de estar. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama King size, baño completo y un balcón con vista al mar. El segundo dormitorio tiene una cama King y el tercero una reina. El cuarto dormitorio tiene 2 juegos de literas gemelas. El último dormitorio está ubicado en la planta baja y tiene 2 juegos de camas gemelas sobre literas completas. Todas las otras habitaciones se encuentran en el segundo piso. También hay una sala de estar adicional en este piso. Overall a great stay.Problems with water pressure in the showers.Yard was unkept. Needed mowing and flower beds cleaned. Had poor outward appearance.

Good stay, needs some upkeep

Nice enough house. Paint chipping all over the outside….looks more “worn out” than in the pics posted for the property. A/C not working for 1st/2nd floor, but property managers remedied with portable units quickly. Fridge needs maintenance as the 2 drawers were broken and 3 fridge door shelves missing/broken. Grateful for elevator use for aging knees in the family. Nice space for gathering in living area and patio of top floor. Nice proximity to beach within walking.

Great weekend stay

We had 15 of us stay for my bachelorette weekend! It was great! The place was clean, the walk to the beach was just a short walk, there was plenty of room for all of us. The only down side was we weren’t able to find out if we got early check in until the day of which was a little inconvenient as most of us had a 4 hour commute to the place but everything else was awesome!

Great property!!! Great location!!! Great access to beach. Only issue's we had, this was a first time for us to rent. When they say "get you started" means that they have 2 garbage bags, couple rolls of toilet paper. So bring those items. We did not understand that. Other than that, had an awesome time!!! Will use again.

Perfect Family Vacation Home

We had 13 family members ranging from 13 to 80 staying in the house. There were plenty of comfortable places to sleep. The walk in showers were great, and there was a shower/ bathtub as well between the kids' room and the parents room. Although we had a large group, we had our own spaces. Our teenagers loves staying on the first floor with the retro full sized arcade game. The top floor had beautiful views, and plenty of seating inside and out. The 3rd floor open design was great for family meals and relaxing. The large sized washer and dryer were very nice to use. We ended up staying an extra day to enjoy the house and one another.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed the house. It was clean, spacious and we loved the balconies. The elevator was very useful. We had only thirteen people but there were beds for more. It was also close enough to walk to the beach. A couple of suggestions. Get a wire brush to clean the grill, a net for the ping pong table and spray regularly as there were a few small bugs in the house.

Roaches!!!

While this was our third time staying at the home, unfortunately it will be our last. The problem was roaches and I mean a ton of roaches. Had never seen that before in past years. This year they were all over the floor every night, near the beds, and in the couches. The manager did send someone out to spray but it was too little, too late. The place is infected.

Good Property

Overall nice property. We had a good time at the home. Close walking distance to the beach and pool, with close car road access so no kart rental is needed. The home patios on the top floor were nice and had plenty of seating area inside. There was not much in terms of supplies (toilet paper/paper towels) so you'll need to pick those up. Overall a great spot and plenty of bathrooms and rooms to spread out. 2 car Garage we were not able to access 2nd the door was locked and automatic garage door didn't work. The weather was little cold and hot water did not come much. may be bathrooms need some repairs Kitchen was clean and enough utensils to cook for large group of people. None of these issues were deal breakers for us we were a family of 15 and had an enjoyable time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was great! Port A Escapes were professional and prepared and they made it very easy. The home was very nice as well. The only thing I would suggest is that the owners might want to consider doing some updating regarding kitchen cookware. The cookie sheets were very rusted and there were only 2 small ones. They need new ones and various sizes. Casserole dishes as well would be really helpful. The top shelf of the dishwasher needs attention. The ceiling fan in the living room was not operating correctly (it was wobbly and very loud as it circulated) so we had to turn it off. The owner came and moved the trash cans DURING our stay but failed to tell us so we couldn't find them until we called. The preview of the home showed a grill indicating it was there for use, however it was not there when we got there. Furniture, beds, etc were very comfortable and nice. Overall it was very nice.

There was enough room at the table for us to all eat together. The living room was large enough for the group to play games together. The inside of the house was clean. The beach was an easy walk from the house.Some areas that could use improvement...first impression of the house was highly disappointing. The grass was long. Which probably wouldn’t have been huge deal, except the mosquitoes were TERRIBLE. The long grass didn’t help. And the garage doors desperately need paint.Those combined with the grass, my heart sank. My family was extremely concerned about what the inside would look like. Thankfully, inside was gorgeous. Except air vents. Those need cleaned really bad. My family had the 2nd floor bunk room. We were surprised there was no door. And the mattresses were not for adults. But we really appreciated the fan in there!The Management Team is amazing! They are polite & kind. Quick to respond. I greatly appreciated them!Overall, a positive experience! Thank you!

INFESTED with small roaches

This property is located a quick walk to the beach in a quiet tiny neighborhood. The amenities were clean (towels, linens, general cleanliness), but the kitchen was completely infested with roaches. Within one day we’d seen dozens. One member of the family found one in her bedding on the second floor. Another found some in the ground floor bathroom. We requested service after the first night and it was prompt, within hours, and the insect service guy was super nice and thorough, pulling out the fridge and checking with a flashlight in corners and cracks in the kitchen. He sprayed every room. But for the next three days, there were hundreds more roaches found, especially when my husband would turn on the kitchen light in the morning. They weren’t large outdoor roaches either. They were tiny indoor roaches of all sizes. We realized that it must be a complete infestation to be so bad and not be fixed with one treatment. We also didn’t feel comfortable asking the service to come out again because we had a 4 month old and 16 month old with us and didn’t want to subject them to those chemicals a second or third time. This place definitely needs to be bombed and shouldn’t be rented out at all until the infestation is eliminated.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we pulled up, the garage door was rusted, paint peeling, weeds in lawn were tall, the handrail at the front steps is wobbly. We entered and it didn't get better. The house smells of mildew very strongly when you enter. The towel bar and towel ring in the downstairs bathroom was off the wall, there is black stuff on the ceiling. There was a random tv on the floor behind the beds in the downstairs bedroom, a pile of bean bag type cushions with brown water stains on the floor. There was no instruction book with wifi password, instructions etc. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were terrible! All of the king/queen beds were sqeaky, have dips in them and not comfortable at all. The house is ok, but needs some updating, deep cleaning and furniture needs replacing. The elevator was nice but again, no instructions were left on operation, had to remind them to unlock it for use that was paid for. Had to request towels twice as there was 1 towel per person provided. Women often need 2 for hair and body but there were no extras. Don't go barefoot in this house. All the kids feet were BLACK from walking around barefoot. Overall, very expensive for very mediocre.

Our Family Summer Vacation At Port A

It is a huge kitchen area (main reason for selection) plus convenient to the beach. No mosquitoes at this time, probably too cool. Propane grill needs to be replaced only 2 burners worked initially also its in bad condition... had to call for a replacement tank arrived pretty quick.2 car Garage we were not able to access 2nd the door was locked and automatic garage door didn't work.This property charges for elevator use my mom is in wheel chair all other properties we looked at did not. Initially ice maker not making ice and fridge temp worried me both were working by mid week.None of these issues were deal breakers for us we were a family of 15 and had an enjoyable time.

Rhodes Family Vacation

I would first like to say our vacation was wonderful. The house for the most part is beautiful and we loved our time there. With that being said there were many problems with the property. The property wasn't as clean as it could of been, wine sprayed on the ceiling over the sink not cleaned up, one of the upstairs bathrooms was very bad and I had to clean it. Broken rung on ladder in bunk room, broken bed in other bunk room. Refrigerator drawer broken and falls out every time you needed to get into it. No storage on the door of the refrigerator. We had 15 of us and really needed the storage. The grill was a complete mess, no bottom in the grill and no propane tank when we got there. We fixed the grill the best we could and we were able to use it. I am only telling the information so it can be fixed. We really did love our time there, the elevator was a must and it was amazing to have. Please feel free to get back to me if you have any questions regrading my review. Thank you, Geri Rhodes

Summer vacay riding out the hurricane

We truly enjoyed this house for our extended family and ended up riding out Hurricane Hanna in it over the weekend. Truly enjoyed the big wide open space on the top floor. However the bottom floor bedroom needs AC help. It gets extremely hot down there for anyone sleeping in the double bunks AND its a large room. I think the owner should put in a supplemental unit in for that space. Otherwise it is a very nice property.
