The apartment is located in Poniente Promenade, again awarded a prize of great prestige. On this occasion, the colorful waves of Carlos Ferrater i Lambarri and Xavier Martí i Gal on “The sound and the shore of the beach of Benidorm” was projected and won the Prize of Spanish Architecture 2011.

Doorstep there is a variety of international restaurants, including traditional spanish cuisine, bars and shops aside. All facilities, pharmacy, supermarket, etc, are at hand within 200 meters. Bus stop to shopping malls, and bus stop to Central bus Station is at 2 minute walk distance.

During the summer, the beach offers a variety of water sports, sailing, powerboat trips and scuba diving. Town city center within 10 mins walk. Lift access to property.

Discovering central Benidorm is easy on foot as that area is very compact especially the Poniente Playa area which is chosen by many visitors as the best area to stay. It is easy to walk a few hundreds meters and still remain in town.

There are a few companies opposite the Wednesday/Sunday market which hire or sell motability scooters for the disabled and sometimes just plain lazy who want to get around town.

There is an excellent local bus service which runs until midnight. Walking time from one end of the resort to the other is over an hour's walk. The Alicante to Denia railway station is nearly a mile in a slowly uphill walk from the Old Town with the bus station not far north of it.

The best beaches in Spain?

Benidorm's beaches are justifiably famous and the resort's continuing success owes much to those fabulous golden crescents. Stretching for a luxuriant six kilometres from Levante Beach in the east to Poniente Beach in the west, consistently high quality blue flag bathing, lifeguard patrols, a wealth of water sports and an impressive approach to cleanliness mean these beaches are among the best in Europe.

Beyond the Old Town, Poniente Beach, comprises a mammoth golden curl of excellent fine sand. Huge!

There's still plenty of facilities close at hand and the inevitable (yet necessary) army of sunbeds, but in general there's a more relaxed and laid back feel here - and a bit more space.

The great curve of coastline continues west to the attractive and quieter area of La Cala.
