The home was really great. My only suggestion would be to turn on the radiant heat system several hours before guests arrive, especially in the colder months.

Wedding weekend

came to Sundance for a wedding and found this property that you can walk to Sundance resort . Rhett the owner was beyond hospital. we loved the beautiful peaceful cabin on the street you can hear the river run through . so great the have the hiking trails and restaurants you can walk to - did a cold plunge in the river . this beauty of the area was so peaceful I feel renewed. house has everything for cooking , playing games , bed very comfy . hot tub was amazing We will be back !

Quintessential Sundance

This is our second time staying at this home and for good reason. It is a great house in a great location. The sound of the creek and the towering pines add to the charm of this secluded enclave. The house has everything you need. A relaxing seat on the deck is the perfect way to start or end the day--or both. The home has three levels with plenty of room to spread out or find a private spot to detach. Thanks again, Rhett. We all enjoyed our stay--again.

Perfect Escape in Sundance

Big Pine Canyon is perfectly tucked away in Sundance. This home is in an ideal location and has everything you and your family need for a quiet getaway. There is a bathroom on every level and plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is excellent. We stocked up at the nearby Harmons Grocery in Orem and made most of our meals at the house. However, downtown Provo is a quick drive out of the canyon with several good dining options (Brunch House, Communal). We fished and floated the Provo and went on several great hikes, all within 15-20 minutes of the house. Despite some unusually warm weather, the house stayed cool the entire time. The sound of the stream just across the drive was the perfect complement to morning coffee or an afternoon read on the deck. We hope to return.

Great proximity to Sundance Ski Area

We are 3 college friends who came here on a ski trip and the location was perfect (3 minute drive to Sundance). The three bedroom suites (each with its own bathroom) were a true luxury and the entire house was lovely. The house could easily accommodate three couples (with note that the downstairs bedroom is "open", no door to close it off). The owner, Rhett, was very responsive and had the private access road snowplowed promptly on request. The only downside in winter is the somewhat scary, but mercifully short, narrow private access road.

Cute House

Super cute house within walking distance to Sundance. Three levels with varying levels of privacy to each of the sleeping areas. Lots of bathrooms and areas to hang out with everyone.

This is a really beautifully done cabin with multiple story windows and lots of light. Each room had plenty of charm and there are plenty of bathrooms for a family.

Loved this cabin in the woods! Well appointed cabin with amazing views and a great kitchen. The hot tub and whole house sound (Bluetooth capable) made this a great place to stay for our daughter’s college graduation.

Peaceful Retreat

Lovely place for our family to come together! We made great memories. We spent time snowboarding at Sundance. Great hot tub with turkeys calling in the trees. Everyone felt rested and revitalized after the weekend break! Lots of room! Someone could nap, while others sat and played games. The mountains of snow just added to the peace. Thank you for sharing your place!

Awesome house!

The house was great. Spacious with comfortable seating.. Large screen TVs and large windows to talk in the woodsy views. Heated bathroom floors and a hot tub made for a very relaxing stay. Short walk to the slopes if you don’t want to hassle with parking. Rhett was a great host. Thanks!

Great Family Cabin

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. It is literally minutes from Sundance and tucked away in a nice little street. Great size for our family and plenty of room to gather with family for games and such. Easy communication with owner.

Great Stay!

We had a great stay in Sundance! The property was exactly as described and perfect for our group of 5. Clean, great location, and plenty of space for lounging and hanging out. The front deck was a group favorite - a nice place to spend the morning with coffee or spend the afternoon with cards. Communication with Rhett was very smooth and fast. He provided general information up front and answered all our follow up questions quickly. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place in Sundance!

Wildwood - perfect for our family

We celebrated my 70th birthday with our daughters and their families. The house was beautiful and very well equipped. The kitchen, a pleasure to work in. Our host, Rhett, was instantly responsive to questions and requests.

I learned how to ski at the age of four by the best ski instructor on the mountain: my father. He was an instructor at the resort while he was in college and he loved to teach his kids the sport that he loved. Having skied and hiked all of the resorts in Utah, Sundance is by far my favorite. It has a special draw that makes it so fun to share with family and friends. Sundance truly is a gem.
In 2012, I purchased the home with family members. Our family has enjoyed this home for many gatherings and we have loved sharing it with our friends, new and old. The Sundance area has a special meaning for me because 4 years ago, I took a date snowshoeing in the mountains around the home. 3 years later, I proposed in the same mountains and couldn't be happier to have shared this beautiful place with my wife, who now loves it just as much as I and the rest of our family does!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

My mom has lived in Big Pine Canyon for over 15 years and I have fallen in love with this area of Sundance. The wild turkeys, deer and the occasional moose are the best neighbors you could ever ask for.
