Piso dúplex con habitaciones dobles de igual tamaño en diferentes pisos y baños separados. Ideal para compartir parejas y familias, como particulares e individuales. La sala de estar tiene techos altos y es de buen tamaño para acomodar a todos al mismo tiempo e incluye un área de comedor también. Cocina totalmente equipada para cocinar. La propiedad está situada en un callejón sin salida, por lo que es muy tranquila, ya que no pasa gente ni tráfico, pero todavía está a 2 minutos a pie de la carretera principal y del metro más cercano.

We loved this flat! The location was amazing - close to the tube and easy to get to lots of locations. The neighborhood itself it perfect, quiet but close to lots of restaurants and shopping. Accommodations were exactly and described and super comfortable. We will be back again!

We enjoyed our stay at this spacious apartment very much. Beds are super comfortable and the apartment is in a great location on a very quiet street, a few minutes walk from Portabello market. Be sure to go to Cheeky Scones 5 minutes up the street. We also enjoyed the Lasagneria right down the street - 15 kinds of lasagna for a reasonable price. Marks and Spencer is 5 minutes away and a Whole Foods is opening this week 3 minutes away as is the tube station. Overall, a great stay with easy communication with the owner.

What a wonderful holiday we had! This flat was in an ideal location for everything we wanted to do. The Underground train was just over a block away, as well as several stores for incidentals - so convenient. Easy and responsive communication with the owner makes this property an easy choice anytime you’re in London.

AMAZING PLACE!!

Place was exactly as explained and the way it shows in the pictures. It was excellent!! Very quiet, yet close to everything. Owner was very responsive and very very helpful and easy to contact!! A must stay place if visiting London. Will stay here again!!

Location location.

Great location on quiet street. Flat was clean and spacious. Easy access to tube. Lots of great places to eat around flat. Host made checking in and out very easy and was always assessable. Would stay there again.

Ideal!

We loved everything about the flat! It's on a quiet street only a couple of blocks from the Notting Hill Gate Tube station. The flat is beautifully appointed and a perfect combination of comfort and elegance. The beds are super comfortable and the proprietor was communicative and helpful. Honestly, we just loved it -- and we're picky! Can't wait to return!

Family friendly stay

The property was attractive snd well located but it is a little shabby. The kitchen cabinets are peeling in places, the light over the stove doesn’t work, the downstairs shower leaks and the couch is dirty. We needed a second fan but it never came. On the plus side, the location is very convenient for restaurants and transportation. It was pretty quiet at night. It is an attractive apartment and the large tv was great.

Central and Comfortable

The apartment was very British. A good amount of seating, lighting, and dishes. Beds were comfortable and the property manager was responsive. Location was greay for getting everywhere.

Property was as advertized, well provisioned, well located, quiet and in a wonderful neighbor hood.

Three of us stayed for 2 weeks and the property had all the amenities one could ask for, and especially nice was the updated bathroom on the second floor. It is located in a very nice neighborhood, close to shops and restaurants, and the tube was one block away. Our host answered any questions we had quickly and he was very helpful. Next time we are in London we would definitely stay there again.

Truly an excellent location for longer term London stay

We stayed here for 3 weeks and greatly enjoyed being in this location. It's away from tourist and business crowds and you feel as if you are in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Great food and Hyde Park nearby. Don't miss Portobello Market on the weekend. Owner was responsive. Beds are closer to Queen size. Despite proximity to the subway, buses, taxis, etc. place is quiet. If you are planning to spend time in London, this is a great place to be.

The apartment was inhumanly hot.1 fan for a large 2 bdroom apartment and when we requaerlted extra fans when the temperatures reached 90 degrees (nearly 30 degrees cel.) We were told to " open the windowss further.

Hi, Andrew the fans we provided did break and we did get a replacement eventually but maybe not as prompt as could be, due to a country shortage. Other than that we hope you enjoyed your stay and we now have a back up in place too.

Great Location

The location of this VRBO is wonderful, close to Hyde park for a morning walk, just steps from the tube station to take you all through the city, wonderful pubs, cafes and Portabella Road shopping around the corner. My only 'hitch' was the "king" beds as advertised are actually Queen beds by US standards and it's definitely time for new mattresses. The living area seating needs replacing as well, couch cushions were lumpy and thin, the plastic dining chairs are adequate and the one chair is small, and again, cushions need replacing. Be aware there is no AC, only heat in this unit. The unit was very clean, the kitchen well appointed, and the closet/dresser space was plentiful.

Notting Hill

Great location in a nice neighborhood. The property is more run down than pictures would suggest. The chair in living area has a broken leg, blinds in upstairs bedroom doesn’t work so I had to prop open with a pair of boots. We had thermostats turned off the entire time and it was so hot that we had windows opens all the time to try to get it cooler I have never stayed in an apartment where there was no way to make coffee. Instant doesn’t count! A French press would be fine. There was no shower gel/ soap in the upstairs bath. It has great potential but needs some loveAlso disconcerting we couldn’t communicate with host through VRBO. We were told they were “blocked”. Just seemed a little fishy

Thanks for the feedback but all the instructions were provided to you by what’s app as a PDF link and since the site was blocking it, we let you know, so you would’ve know how to use thermostats and find French press. Blinds will be fixed and issues sorted out. We try our best.

Charged for losing keys we were never given.

An otherwise comfortable stay in London was ruined by charges for a set of keys we were never given. When we arrived at the flat, we were met by a representative of the owner. She gave us brief instructions and one set of keys to the flat. All went well until we were on our way to Heathrow. We were then informed that we had neglected to return the second set of keys. We explained that we were given only one set of keys. If we did not come up with the keys, we would be charged 80 pounds to have a second set of keys made. We insisted that we were only given one set and the owner implied that we were lying but he would split the difference with us and only charge 40 pounds. We discussed the situation with the other couple. Since we were both retired physicians, we decided that our integrity was worth more than 40 pounds and we rejected his offer. All we can say is that there is second set of keys that we never got floating around London. Be careful for your security in that flat.

Please note, keys have been changed so the flat has no security issues. A new system has been put in place where pictures of keys are provided pre (host) and post (guest) rental so simple issues like this can be tracked to help everyone.

Nos alojamos 4 días en diciembre 2018. Es tal y como muestran las fotos. Muy limpio todo. No falta de nada (cocina muy bien equipada, y cuartos de baño también). La calefacción va bien (toalleros incluidos). Primer piso con ascensor. Muy cerca de la parada de metro/bus Notting Hill Gate (muy cómodo para coger la Circle Line hacia Victoria y la Central Line hacia el centro de Londres). Barrio tranquilo. En el apartamento hay disponibles muchas guías de Londres (y muchas pelis). Muy buena comunicación con el anfitrión, q además responde rápido. El ama de llaves, muy atenta, estaba ya allí cuando llegamos. Los colchones de las camas comodísimos. La única pega, el clavito ese famoso (que nombran en casi todos los comentarios) en la moqueta justo al pasar por la puerta del salón. Y que se oyen un poco los pasos de los vecinos de arriba. Repetiríamos sin duda. Lo recomendaremos a familia y amigos. (Pensad en llevar adaptador para los enchufes UK, porque en la casa no tienen, o al menos nosotros no encontramos ningún adaptador)

I'm Sri Lankan and have been living in the Notting Hill area for over 10 years and think it is one of the most vibrant places to live in the world. The only things missing is the beach, palm trees and sometimes the weather.. but I guess I can just go home for that!

I love good food, eating out, meeting new people and chilling with friends and family. One of my favourite past times is having BBQs, especially if I am the cook.

I spend a lot of time travelling and learning about different cultures. One of my favourite places to visit is Norway where my sister and family live.

I look forward to welcoming guests and rest assured you will have not only have a comfortable stay but a host with all the local knowledge and special passes for bars, restaurants and tourist attractions.
