Coedmor Barn, con impresionantes vistas.

Una cabaña separada en los jardines y bosques de la casa principal. Tener una plaza de aparcamiento privado para un coche fuera de la entrada. Tiene calefacción central y está equipado con un alto estándar de alojamiento muy cómodo durante todo el año.

La pequeña pero acogedora casa de planta abierta tiene un salón con TV y reproductor de DVD con techos con vigas que conducen a través de las ventanas francesas a un pequeño balcón con vistas al estuario y la cordillera Cader Idris. Fuera del salón es el dormitorio con una cama doble, el cuarto de ducha y cocina bien equipada / comedor. Hay una cocina eléctrica, nevera y horno de microondas.

No hay banda ancha en la cabaña y, debido a la ubicación, la señal móvil puede ser irregular dependiendo de su red. Una gran cantidad de cafés locales y bares en Barmouth y Dolgellau ofrecen banda ancha de forma gratuita.

Situado entre Barmouth y Dolgellau, Coedmor está a poca distancia de muchas atracciones del norte de Gales.
Una base perfecta para visitar Snowdonia y está cerca de más de 5 kilómetros de playas de arena.

L'alloggio è stupendo, molto caratteristico, pulito e ordinato. È in posizione isolata, quindi meglio avere una macchina. Organizzatevi con qualcosa da mangiare e bere perché non è presente neanche il tè. Un po inusuale il fatto che chiedano di disfare il letto e mettere le lenzuola in un sacco che viene fornito, non mi era mai capitato in decine di viaggi. Comunque un posto splendido in una cornice suggestiva. Ottima comunicazione, Zarina è stata gentile e premurosa, tanto da preoccuparsi per noi visto che viaggiavamo a piedi. Bellissimo

Lovely property. Not huge but really well laid out, with everything that we needed. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and felt really secluded. Definitely worth exploring the gardens. The private areas are well signposted, but we really appreciated the established plants, trees, and the perfect view from the hidden bench!

The property is in a lovely location,is well decorated, fitted out to a high standard and has central heating you can adjust as required. We graded 4 only because the bed was a little uncomfortable but , thats not a criticism as to the overall experience of our stay as you can't cater for all requirements and we accept that. Clean , tidy with quality towels and WiFi. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A lovely little 1 bedroom cottage near the sea.Everything is easy to use and understand.It's important to remember that there is no freezer or icebox in the fridge. The only problem we had was the toaster timer seems to be faulty and it will burn the toast. Otherwise, all good.

,compact huisje, schoon, goed bed en een mooie tuin.

Het was jammer dat je niet goed aan de eettafel kon zitten en de bank veel te zacht was. Helaas stond er op de site niet bij dat onderlangs de mooie tuin, een drukke weg liep. Daar kwam de uitrit opuit, dat was steeds spannend.

One Week at Coedmor Barn

We spent a week at Coedmor Barn as a couple, looking to unwind and enjoy some time in nature — and in that regard, the location truly delivers. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for walks or quiet reflection. The small terrace outside the cottage is particularly charming, ideal for enjoying a morning coffee or evening glass of wine.The cottage itself is architecturally lovely and full of potential, with a lot of character and a beautiful setting. However, the interior left us a bit disappointed. The furnishings feel rather basic and lack warmth, which took away from the otherwise idyllic atmosphere. The sofa is unfortunately very uncomfortable, and the bed's mattress is quite hard and not conducive to restful sleep. It’s also worth noting that the sleeping area cannot be properly darkened, which might be a concern for light-sensitive sleepers.While the hosts live nearby, we didn’t have any personal interaction with them, which felt somewhat impersonal. Our questions were mostly answered when we reached out, but we didn’t feel particularly welcomed or looked after. A bit more attentiveness and friendliness would have gone a long way in enhancing the overall experience.Do keep in mind that the nearest pub and supermarket are about 6 km away, and there is a nearby road that occasionally reminds you you're not completely secluded.

beautiful views

just the right size for a couple, everything you would need in the kitchen, wifi was good, tv channels better than normal. comfy ,nice outdoor seating area. warm and secure, had a nice little welcome box. i only had one small complaint the toilet space is a bit tight to the wall.

Stay

Compact and functional. All we needed for a good base and the Barn provided it. The garden was lovely but too cold to have breakfast sitting out on the deck. Only problem was the weather, not a good few days when we went.

Great Base

This was a pleasant stay and a great place to base yourself for visiting mid and North Wales. These are obviously just my personal opinions and have tried to be fair. I am a solo traveller who travels extensively in the UK and abroad.Cons: Uncomfortable very small sofa, not very relaxing (would be a squeeze for two but guess that’s the ‘romantic’ bit) especially after being out all day. Mouldy/dusty bread binI was really looking forward to coffee on the deck in the morning but again the most uncomfortable seating - not the chairs pictured and the table was covered in bird poo. Very close to the main road so traffic noise during the day.The bedroom is a tight space with nowhere to store bags etc.Pros: Gorgeous view from the deckFabulous bed - slept so well. Great shower with plenty of hot waterVery close to the main road so great access to surrounding areas and isn’t noisy at night. Good sized bath sheets/towels and all linens fresh and clean.Nice little welcome pack although I didn’t use it.Cosy and warm.Parking right outside cottage.

Great short get away!

Booked this little get away for my partner's birthday and really was not disappointed!We showed up a little later than the check in time,due to traffic ect. The self cartering aspect is amazing in the sense that you're not disturbing the host if you show upintime.

Barmouth stay

What an amazing stay we had , the property was beautiful, well presented and very clean. Owners were lovely and friendly and the view overlooking the estuary at the back of the property was breathtaking. This was a lovely place to stay for just two people. Will definitely be going back

Tranquility

Cottage is what you would expect, thick boulder walls, adequate size rooms with a lovely decking overlooking the estuary. Very quiet location even though you are near to the road. The owners had made sure there was everything in the cottage and the decoration was just right. Thoroughly needed and enjoyed this break. Thank you. Lyn @ Gary
