Marcus our host was very helpful and when we had a power cut was very responsive to the situation and sent out an engineer. The Log cabin was in a perfect spot overlooking the sea along with the Hot tub which was fantastic especially as it snowed heavily.The hot tub was situated down a little slope from the log cabin but it was not a problem getting to it.There was so many different paths to walk you were spoilt for choice if you like walking like we do.The only thing I would advise is that the cabin does have steep steps to the toilet and shower, however this was not a problem for us, but could be if you have very young children.The highlight, the view from our cabin was magnificent especially waking up to a few feet of snow and seeing various cruise ships from your window.If visiting in winter ensure you buy lots of wood for the log burner as this was sooo cozy.There are shops such a Lidl 15 - 20 minutes drive from log cabin for you wood and food supplies and if you are looking for alcohol stronger than 3.5 % there is a shopping mall with an alcoholic store that sells stronger wines etc.Overall absolute fabulous holiday, would highly recommend.
